Thats weird. My helix was almost like the exact opposite of yours. Like ive had mine for almost a year and it is completely healed. I got it done in the summer and when i started school i found out that EVERY monday i would have to take it out for JROTC and when i first took it out it got a little irritated but it settled down nicely. and now i can pretty much leave the piercing out for a couple of days at a time if i really needed too and it hasnt even been a year yet (:
Thank you for the informative video! I have two forward helix piercings on my left ear but nothing cool on my right ear, so thanks for the inspiration for more piercings! :)
My helix piercing took FOREVER to heal. But now that it is healed, I can go a month or so without wearing anything in it without it closing (if I decide to). I love it :)
Question about your helix piercing: When did you stop cleaning it every day, several times a day? And do you know how to handle the bump? I've tried sea salt but it hasn't done anything so far.
I got my helix done and then three days later I got my Tragus done! It was the opposite for me, I had no problem with my helix and every problem with my Tragus. It was so sore, now it has a pimple-like bump on it.
I am 14 years old and I have never heard of migration or rejection until I watched your videos which is CRAZY. I am honestly scared to death! I just got my tragus pierced three days ago. I was told to clean it with Bactine. What is the best way to clean it and avoid infections?
My Helix is over a year old and still flairs up and is still a pain to sleep on. I love it and am keeping it, but yeah they are a bitch to look after. I have a u shaped pillow that has a hole in it, that helps massively with sleeping, without that I probably would have taken it out lol. Have you thought about a septum ring? I love mine, I hope it most of the time, but its a nice to have.
Yeah I believe it. The past times I've had my helix is never healed it seemed like it was always flaring up. That's probably really helpful for sleeping! Haha, I can sleep on mine just fine right now but I'm almost positive a flare up will happen. Yeah, I have. I would get it just to have it but it would probably be hidden almost 100% of the time. I don't think it would fit well with me very well. foulmouthc1
I just got my double helix yesterday it's been about a day and I have seen no redness or swelling very little blood when I clean it is that ok ? It doesn't hurt at all sometimes I forget it's there
I got my helix 6, almost 7 months ago, it still hurts and I can't get rid of the bumps. It's a bit better as I started using a tea tree oil but still not away.
I have my helix done and I got mine done January 24th and it's been about 4 months and a week and mine hasn't been that bad on healing. I did change mine 33 days after I had it done and I didn't have any problems with infection or anything. I had my piercer change it for me. All I get is small crusty stuff too.
When do you usually start getting puss in your cartilage piercing (if you do) and just to be safe I shouldn't change the piercing until about a year later?
Courtney Engel Even at 6 months later I still do a little bit to this day. I'm waiting one full year to change it and that's recommended. But again, it's up to you. :)
Mine flared up for a full year before it finally settled down. I had issues with it getting irrated and would ooze puss, 3 times really bad that first year. I *almost* took it out because I was getting tired of the flare ups, but once past the year mark it calmed down. Been 13 years now and its been quiet ever since.
I'm getting my tragus pierced on my birthday (Dec. 10), and I just want to get your opinion on if I should wait until its fully healed to change it, or wait a month like I've heard in other videos. And how long did you have to wait before you could use headphones?
Catherine Icon I have one already up from around October or so and nothing's changed except for belly rings so I can do an updated belly button ring collection. Everything else is the same. :)
I keep hearing how you shouldn't get a tragus pierced with a loop because it could cause keloids or something. I'm planning on getting it done soon and if I'm given the choice between a hoop and stud is there a safer one to pick or can I just pick the one I like?
Camilla Wood Keloids happen regardless with most piercings if they're pierced with a hoop or not. It really doesn't matter. It'll be up to your piercer but you can recommend what you want and I'm sure they won't have a problem with it. :)
BreeAnn Barbie Its really annoying my school are really strict on appearance...Yeah i know i really dont want to do change it because im already dealing with a keloid and im afraid i'll ruin the whole piercing if i change it...i'm going to try keep the original bar in as long as possible
Hi! I got helix pierced yesterday and I was wondering if small soreness is normal. I know it's kinda stupid since I only got it pierced yesterday but I was just wondering. Also, I'm kinda worried that I'm not able to move the piercing since the piercer inserted a small post so I don't have much of a "wiggle space" and the ball keeps getting loose. :(
I got my belly button pierced about 2 weeks ago, and its pretty dry... I use dial anti bacterial soap I dont know if that causes anything, im just a little sissy and I get scared easily lol.. Idk if you already did do a video about dryness, im sorry if you get this question a lot :/
courtney shane I did a video on healing belly button piercings and the signs so you can check that out if you want too. :) Is it the bar of dial? If so that can be a little bit more drying than regular soap in the pump. But yes that's normal.
Could you maybe do a video on signs of a healing tragus and tongue piercing? (You might have covered the tongue in some of your other videos but I'm not sure)
Savii Fusco I've mentioned (I think) some of the signs in how to take care of a healing tongue piercing. Yes I will be doing a video on signs of a healing tragus. :)
So I also have my cartilage done I've had it done since I was 9 and im now 21, they did it with a gun and maybe im just lucky but I didn't have much problems with it, occasionally I had a little bit of dry stuff around it but other than that it was fine :) theres a part (I forget the name of it lol!) In my ear I want to get done its between the helix and forward helix but I've seen so many TH-cam videos saying how much it hurt lol
Erika Brown The rook wasn't bad for me pain wise, helix and tragus hurt more than it for me. Its more out of the way than both of those as well so it healed pretty easily. Ended up getting my other one done, its my fav ear piercing by far ;)
Seriously but not rude question :) I love you but how come you talk like that? Is it because if a mouth piercing you have or no? Just wondering and thank you for the video :)
Makeupl0ver55 Sorry but asking someone why they talk a certain way is kind of rude..and no, my piercings do NOT affect the way that I talk. I talked this same way ever since I could talk. You're welcome.

You're so lucky!! Wish mine would behave! lol Sydney Greer
Thank you for the informative video! I have two forward helix piercings on my left ear but nothing cool on my right ear, so thanks for the inspiration for more piercings! :)
***** That's awesome, you're welcome! :)
My helix piercing took FOREVER to heal. But now that it is healed, I can go a month or so without wearing anything in it without it closing (if I decide to). I love it :)
Kylie Shelton I cannot wait for that!! Haha! :D
Its so nice.

I stopped full on cleaning mine ariund the four month mark but I still washed it with salt water for every few days
The makeup in this video looks so good on you !!!
Thanks!
your hair is sooo pretty curled!
Omg I love your hair and makeup like that!

woah you’re 20 now!

Lauryn Calleros well its been 3 months and no comment... how did it go? was it ok?
what size is your nose hoop, and how long did you have to clean yours and wait to change it, somebody told me a month and other say 3-6 months

Britt Stacks You're SO lucky!! haha
I guess I actually had one keloid but sea salt water took care of that :) I love your videos and thank you so much for making them.
That's awesome! Sea salt soaks are awesome!!

SirEnderMC Yes, all piercing should be fully healed before you change them.
Can you do an updated body jewellery collection?
Catherine Icon I have one already up from around October or so and nothing's changed except for belly rings so I can do an updated belly button ring collection. Everything else is the same. :)
ok! BreeAnn Barbie

I wouldn’t get anything where earpods go in
How do you avoid getting the bump on tragus ?
***** You don't. Keloids happen all the time with cartilage piercings, just a fact of life. To get rid of them you use sea salt and tea tree oil.
You should consider getting your industrial pierced on the other ear! I have it and i lovee it :)
Jack Walsh Cool!! :D
haha, I actually don't want that piercing tbh. :P
BreeAnn Barbie Aw no biggy:) My school want me to change it too a clear bar but i only have it two months and i dont know what to do hahaha !
Don't change it. It's NOT healed yet and they can't tell you what to do.
BreeAnn Barbie Its really annoying my school are really strict on appearance...Yeah i know i really dont want to do change it because im already dealing with a keloid and im afraid i'll ruin the whole piercing if i change it...i'm going to try keep the original bar in as long as possible
I got my helix pierced on the 25th of August 2017

TheBlackAscent Yes that's normal. Don't try to move it. Keep it still. The only time you should be moving it is when you clean it.
BreeAnn Barbie
Thanks so much! cx
You're welcome!

Oh not that' alright! I don't mind.
I use the pump soap and I clean it 2-3 times everyday :) and thank you so much! Your videos really help ! :D
Okay, yeah that can be a little drying but no big deal, dryness is quite normal with belly button piercings. :)
Did shampoo ever cause irritation with either piercing?
MyMamasChild2 Nope, not at all. :)
I wanna get my eyebrow done during summer is it worth it?:)
Definitely! :) Jack Walsh
Would you ever get the other side of your nose pierced? x
In a heartbeat. Definitely. :) Geester Emz
Jenna Marbles Haha I have no idea!! I never thought of that one! Maybe! :)
Yeah I thought you did you usually do. And yay thank you I've decided I'm going to get both of my tragus pierced I just love the look of them :@)
Yay!! You're welcome! :D
It's thanks to you that I found this attractive ear piercing and loved it :)
I know this is from a long time ago but I LOVE your hair right now
So I also have my cartilage done I've had it done since I was 9 and im now 21, they did it with a gun and maybe im just lucky but I didn't have much problems with it, occasionally I had a little bit of dry stuff around it but other than that it was fine :) theres a part (I forget the name of it lol!) Erika Brown Yeah you got very luck! Haha, so jealous!

Oh wow that's great! I MIGHT gather up enough courage to get it done lmao not % 100 sure yet :P
my tragus gives me hell all the time!! It makes me regret getting it! My helix gave me no problem!
Mychelle Delco Weird! We're like complete opposites!
Do you ever get hypertrophic scarring around your piercings
IAMSHANNONBLA Yes, Keloids/Hypertropic scaring is very common with cartilage/surface piercings. Tea tree oil and sea salt soaks really help.
I wanna do my Tragus but I am so afraid it will hurt. : 0
James Naso It didn't hurt, promise. :)
thanks : )
I had my helix done for two years and they still acted up once in a while. that type of piercing is always the hardest to heal.
Oh yeah I agree! *****
This vid was very helpful thanks
Steven Goldie You're welcome! :)
i loved ur piercings video
Thanks!
ur welcome
your very pretty and u seem like a kool person :)
shelly longerbeam Thanks. :)

I'm in love
Seriously but not rude question :) I love you but how come you talk like that? Is it because if a mouth piercing you have or no? Just wondering and thank you for the video :)

You're welcome.
I've had mine the same as yours my helix will not heal but it's slowly coming along xx
Anthony White It'll get there. :)
what size is your nose hoop, and how long did you have to clean yours and wait to change it, somebody told me a month and other say 3-6 months
Courtnay Bynum I don't know the exact size around but it's a 22g I cleaned it for 2 months. 3-6 months is right.
Is it bad if shampoo get's into a newly pierced helix?
Jessica Flores If it does, rinse it really well with water.
BreeAnn Barbie Thank You
