- Slim's catalog of recorded songs now numbers 550. I reworked the list and included the duplicate ones that were done as duets. What I'm attempting to do here is select some of the beautiful songs that didn't get the recognition they deserve. I hope you enjoy my efforts and will take time to comment below. Thanks.

Only just stumbled upon your latest collection of overlooked gems, Loren & thoroughly enjoyed listening to them. Sound quality is superb & I appreciated the songs all the more, as I had no idea, what was coming next!
The photos & trivia is a nice touch too. Thanks for your efforts again, Loren in compiling something new, different & unexpected. Much appreciated!

Yes, and his voice was powerful and unique not like all singers today that sound alike.

My late dad's favourite artist, I was brought up with this man's music, still have all the vinyl my dad collected. Still superb .
A beautiful selection of songs and great photos too. The songs Give me one hundred reasons and
Rose marie from 1964 maybe recorded at the same session as Country song city hits recording session i think they are hidden gems too. Once again a fantastic video 👍.

'I really don't want to know' - I presume was recorded for the ' Home on the Range' or ' Ghost Riders in the Sky' album 1977/78 & it's s difficult to fathom out, why this was not included on the release!
I wonder how much influence, Slim had on what was or wasn't included on each of his album's & did this change over the years?
He didn't have any say in what they would release. He didn't want somethings released at all. He told me there were reasons that some cuts weren't used. He didn't like them being released.

I Discovered Slim Whitman I think 1979 1980, When He was doing the Commercials on TV, I was 14 , I Heard Slims Captivating Voice, and I got some cash together and ordered the Records, I fell in Love with the songs, This was a Very Very Hard time of my life, and I started buying more Records of His, these Got me Through that Very Bad time, And I have been a Fan of His ever Since, 2nd hand Stores sometimes have his Records and tapes and I buy these, Thank God for Slim Whitman

His favorites just proves the kind of man we know Slim Whitman was. John Wayne has been my favorite actor for 75 years. Started with old "B" westerns on a 7" round screen BW Zenith TV. Carol

What a beautiful 67th anniversary gift!! Woke up to this beautiful selection today. My husband's favorite singers were Slim and Marty Robbins and it's a sadder world without all three if them. Thank you! ❤❤

Magnificent Loren. Slims voice was so pure and rich and crystal clear. These recordings show just how truly extraordinary Slim was. I have just about every LP record Slim ever made but I’m not sure I have this “wheel of hurt” recording. I’ll have to check. I have the Souvenir Album in my collection but I’m yet to find a turntable that plays 16RPM. Thanks for sharing Loren.❤️
Greetings. Thanks for commenting. I only found 2 Souvenir LPs. I worked at a Radio station and was able to play and transfer the record. It is the 2nd rarest record of Slim's.
