Those little new amps are bangers for sure !!! Hey have you used a oscope to check what volume the headunit begins to clip at ? What volume does it go up to clean using high levels ? And what about the low levels ?
Hey Mike, greetings from Florida! I love music and I'm trying to upgrade my sound system on my ford f150 for a clean and quality sound system I've been doing a research for over a month now on speakers and stuff, I think I've watched every single video of yours about comparison and reviews and I'm still having a really hard time to decide what speakers to get for a complete round up in my truck, I do everything my self I've done all the mods on my truck my self with passion and I love it, but I really need your help Mike please what do you recommend for me, I'm trying to keep the price reasonable since it's really hard to make money and I don't want to be disappointed again with my choices, I've just ordered a recoil class D 4ch amp 2ohm-4ohm stable with 300rms at 2ohm x 4 and 210 rms at 4ohm x4 noise ratio 85db and frequency 15hz - 25khz and trying to find the best affordable speakers that would complete my set up. I'm going to do a sound deadinng on all doors as well, I recently bout a Polk Audio amp(wich I'm returning tomorrow due to overheating) to replace it with the recoil amp above👆 Currently the Polk Audio is running my jbl GTO939 6x9 Coaxial 100w rms 300w peak on the front and the jbl GTO629 6.5 2way Coaxial 60w rms 180w peak on the rear, also a different amp for my 2x12" mtx subs, Im using aftermarket android tesla style head unit. I added a line out converter lci7 then connect the 2 amps, but I feel a little incomplete, I bought the gbl gto tweeters you recommended in one video aslo bought the BZRK tweeters because they look nice as well, haven't installed them yet because the ohm doesn't add up, can you please recommend me something to complete a good sound, I'm thinking to go with 2 way component speakers and trying to decide for a good midrange speakers for rear since I have the tweeters, I'm even willing to add 2 more 5 inch speakers and modify the rear doors if necessary! You have a lot of experience what should I get for the new amp that I got! I would really appreciate you bro... Really need your opinion and suggestions 🙏 I will copy and paste this to your videos till I get your attention 😁 BTW I have my eyes on the infinity kappa component
I have the deaf bonce 6x9’s and they handle every bit of 200 watt rms each and sound amazing really punchy and scream Cristal clear, clean in clean out baby!!!🤙
I have a setup in my van with 6 full range speakers, 4 6x9 in doors, 2 3.5 in dash and 2 15s in the trunk. Do you think adding a pair of the deaf bonce 6x9 would pair well with the rest of the system? It's not a SQ setup, so staging and whatnot isn't a big concern.
I REALLY love the Kicker CS Series 6x9 speakers!! From your earlier reviews I've purchased a set. Now I just want to figure out what amp compliments them the BEST. I've seen a KENWOOD KAC-M1814 that I'm thinking about buying. The Timpano sounds great but I think KENWOOD amp could hold its own against the Timpano. Price wise the Timpano is roughly $70, Kenwood $120. Kenwood 4 channel, 400w MAX. Could you possibly do a video of the KENWOOD connected to these AMAZING speakers to test it out please? Thanks dude. Love your channel. Gonna get some of your merch!!👍👍
@fusion82 wrong. Gain is not volume. You turn Gain all the way down, set your volume on your stereo, raise the Gain to match the system. And you never want to raise the Gain over 30%, 50% at most, but that will distort the quality
Hey, I can recommend because I did it on a friend. You should get a taramps ds 800x4 2 ohms and connect the remote wire on the left side cigarette port. Remember 2 ohms and connect them in pararel. This speakers are 4 ohms and connecting them in paralel will take it down to 2 ohms. You have to connect two speakers in one channel so that they share the 200 watts that the channel gives. Don’t go over two in a single channel you will drop the ohm and fry the amp. The channel is 200 watts but it’s shared between the two speakers. Each one will get 100 watt rms at 2 ohms. And turn the volume of the amp down to about 75% on both channels or until you don’t hear the whinning noise. If you get a smaller amp you will have to turn it all the way up to get all the wattage and it will sound a horrible whinning noise.
Sorry - but gain on an amp is NOT THE SAME as volume control on the stereo! Maybe you should actually do a little research on how to set the gain on an amp to match your stereo output before making false claims, and looking like a fool for everyone to see! You claim the Kickers play at 30hz - yet you are making this claim without any kind of spectrum analyzer to see what frequencies they are ACTUALLY putting out. This channel is a hack on audio advice on every level.
Gain: Controls the tone of an audio track by adjusting the level of the signal before it's processed. Gain is often labeled "input" or "drive". Volume: Controls the loudness of an audio track after it's been processed
Why are you using the gains as a volume knob
I save a lot money since I’m watching your videos
Thanks a lot
If I just upgrade these kickers with out a sub, well I get at least some bass? They sound really good with an amp

Would it work with 2 6x9 Prv bullets and 2 6.5 Prv new ones with the driver built in ?
Will this push 4 6x9 kenwood and be loud enough
Name and model of the amplifier please ?
What is your personal favorite or all 6x9s?

thats so cool... ive never seen an amp with a volume knob
He’s referring to gains, not volume.
Gain and volume same thing

Can I buy these with stolen gift cards?
Is it just your music or do these speakers sound like broken garbage?
