This quest is soooo sad, its crazy how much they expanded on his character with this character story, and how it covers darker topics too... ZZZ got an amazing story and this is an example!
Section six is really Just one massive ticking time bomb. Two VERY volatile characters that would wipe out alot of people, a child, and a girl who sometimes goes blind
his agent story was so good... poor baby boy didn't deserve all of this... but I'm glad he's ok 🥺💞 he's amazing and his blue eye looked cool ngl haha... and that ost playing when he shot the arrow 😭 loved it
As an occasional Ethereal myself, I’d like to point out how well Asaba handled all of this. Pretty tough, that guy is. Anyway, I gtg, almost time to transform. Also, um, help. Just kidding! I’m not an ethereal! Hahaha… you believe me, right?
He survived at the end bc the liquid he injected into himself turned out not to be harmful and actually helpful (cuz his master made it especially for him or sm) but ye he still has the illness and might turn into an eterial. Abt his backstory he basically had a permanent disease and they experimented on him to make a drug that can buff ppl and rn he had an evil colleague that wanted to do the same to sm kids but he took it for them so he collapsed (in the cutscene). Hope that kinda helps
I hope it's a situation where they can eventually synthesize a cure like the one he took to help him fully keep it in check. Kinda like how people with Chrons Disease get regular doses to keep their condition in check. It sounds like it's not something too far off, but Harumasa just needs to be careful in the meantime.
I'm crying- the animation is amazing but I wish the scene was paced slower to have more emotional impact and emphasis. I really feel like this scene was rushed x10 or something...

Tbh, it would be cool if Harumasa get Ethereal form and able to control himself as well. It would be a cool Devil Trigger reference
It's also kinda cool he can't do that though, makes him feel more down-to-earth
