They were supposed to give all black people after slavery 40 acres and mule. Many to this day still wondering when the people will get that.
Clearly they never wanted black peoples to own land much less any live stock .
It’s ok if we are toiling their land, but never own it... no, no. That just won’t do.

Although racism is clearly to blame for his particular problems, the real issue is the fact that the US is dominated by monopolies which is what allows corporations to have power over smaller businesses. The evils of racism is primarily about exerting power over others. If you can't exert power over others nobody cares if you are racist. The US loves capitalism but has failed to solve capitalisms greatest failing which is monopolies (which eventually leads to fascism).

I worked n that industry, pig farms, chicken, cows, etc... one of the lowest and most degrading systems in US. 100% profit over people business. I hope he gets a Billion dollars!! The American food system and it's predatory companies stripped black land owners of farms, veggie and fruit crops. The govt, states, and counties were all in on the plan to strip wealth from black food growers, started first stripping private homes all over the South of fruit trees, and it went on and on from there with everything on your plate. I constantly felt guilty everytime I was selling products at those plants. Environmental abuse, employee abuse, growers abuse, and loose standards poisoning this country. God bless any black farmers that still exist!

I feel for this guy, based on the story presented. However, I would appreciate a lawyer's perspective on the claim that he was required to perform upgrades that no one else was required to do. If it is true, then I eagerly await the court proceedings. However, I will withhold my alliance until I understand the overall context. Sometimes, this channel puts out stories in a very skewed way to support their narrative. IMO, this harms the overall cause because we all are affected when we pour our emotion and effort into examples where overall facts tell a different story. I stand against any and all types of discriminations. In particular, I believe that marginalized groups deserve special protections because of the residual impacts of systemic oppression. I just want my alliance to be spent on causes that are true.
The fact that this story only presents this persons side implies that there may be a lack of corroboration.

I think the problem is the competition has so much power through legislation and greasing the right people that it’s hard to go against them, however, it isn’t impossible. People move over here from the Middle East and set up halal stores and other people who want halal meat buy directly from them. They never even buy into the American poultry system.
