all i know is that Taka's voice moves me like no other ever has. i listen and believe he's feeling every word he's singing. absolutely genuine. don't hear that every day. his is a rare gift.

He's just the best. I saw them live last july in Florence and he was just PERFECT. He was jumping around the stage, running, being a little crazy and he sang PERFECTLY!! Like- in live he's just as good as the recorded studio versions, maybe even better because he knows how to involve the whole crowd!

The thing about their Premonition World tour is that there's only 8 tour dates. it's a special tour that they're doing for their fans, like the special live at Nagisaen in 2016.
This thing has so much processing/compression/melodyne/tune/layering that it makes it impossible to me to take it any serious. I want to hear this song live

I believe you would really love this song by ONE OK ROCK called Clock Strikes, specifically from the 2023 Luxury Disease Japan Tour. The reason? There’s a certain part in the bridge that can truly show the true potential for Taka’s voice. Hope you consider this suggestion. 👍

It’s just cool as hell to see you explaining how certain tones and phrases are built and seeing you demonstrate these techniques in your own voice. You should check out Aina the End sometime. She has one of the most unique and emotive voices out there, and since I know you appreciate TK, he’s actually wrote a couple of songs for her (Love Sick and Red Birthmark). Would love to see you analyze her incredibly interesting phrasing and tone sometime!

i think taka is so successfully amazing; for the same reason gerard way is SO successfully amazing. that breathy separation of notes via sighs. imo, that specific tool is a mind/body relationship & agreement. trusting it, like you said to let go-- you can totally see a new reflection in your voice.

The Nagisaen version is Take me to the Top is even better than the 35xxxv tour if you haven't seen it. They made a special instrumental intro to it. Plus the crowd at Nagisaen is truly epic.

Also, in the live performance of the song "Complete Sense Dreamer" in 2015, I sang while running, and in the 2023 Crockst live version, I was singing a 30-second long tone. 😆I personally recommend one of them.😊
You should do a reaction to the tracks "Eidolon Alpha" and "Omega" by Rishloo (they are two tracks, but basically the same song where one segues into the other). Chris I have to say, you are missing out on an amazing band. You have to listen to Nemophilia. It’s an AMAZING band, and the vocals are insane, as well as every other part of their music. You’d do a disservice to your ears if you don’t listen to them, even off of a recording. I’d recommend Dissension as a first listen. PLEASE check it out, and if you don’t watch it on recording, reply if you can.
all singers are pitch corrected in studio recordings nowadays, but aside from that most vocalists dont really use many effects apart from basic reverb etc, theres not much here really, guy is just a fantastic vocalist
