Camille Paglia... the ONLY true independent thinker in academe today. May her voice never be silenced. I've admired her from the day I picked up Sexual Personae in the 90s and I've bought every book she has written since.

Paglia has been prophetic since the early 90ies!
I have followed her path for decades and have bought all of her books.
    An absolut exceptional mind.

Re: Climate Change...is the problem not that climate changes but The Unprecedented RATE of Change ,the Unprecedented PACE of Change on planet earth ...eg.how, for the first time on record that climate has changed MORE Rapidly in the last 30 or 300 hundred years in comparison with the rate of climate change in the previous 30,000 or 3 million years??Is it not the fact that climate has always changed but that it is changing too fast that nature cannot keep pace with it? What do the trustworthy experts with reliably sourced ,numbers suggest,I wonder ?
Thank you both for the opportunity to listen and learn so much valuable information. Both the interviewer and the Magnificent Camille Paglia were in top form every second of this wonderful civil discussion.Thank you for educating me so thoroughly and in such a well prepared, terrific and respectful manner.Civilization needs much more of such well informed, balanced debate. Thanks again RNZ and Kim Hill.

Sometimes it's hard to tell if interviewers are just challenging Paglia for the sake of discussion or are just obtuse and can't put together the complexities and nuances of her brilliant arguments.

This interviewer is apparently obsessed with biological determinism and completely clueless around its nuances.

Camille Paglia is a genius; but in this case I have to disagree with her. The majority of women will always date up the socio-economic ladder and choose family over career, which means shutting up about powerful men who misbehave.
    That's just how they're made.
The Metoo movement is a very short lived anomaly which will disappear when times get tough again, as they must because of the disintegration of the family and other factors.
