I live in Melbourne, gotta say I agree. I've literally come across 7 different protests within the past month. Covid didn't help. I left Qld in Jan. 2000 and even back then, Woodridge - Kingston were crime shitholes. One of the current affairs programs did a show on the crime around there, especially on the number of cars being stolen. One of the reporters asked the local police sergeant what people did for transport after their car had been nicked. He replied, "I think they just go out steal one themselves." And he was only half-joking!

Hehe. Now to balance it out, I will give out my opinion on Newcastle. I’ve been to Newcastle once for a few days, absolutely boring. It tries to be like the Northern Suburbs of Sydney but with more alcoholism and less beaches. Also you would think with Newcastle having so much water around it it would be easy to get some good seafood, but you would have more luck finding a person wearing Isaac’s merch in all the hipster coffee shops in Melbourne.
I love how it's just most of the major cities 😆😆 And as a person that lives about 4 hrs from Brisbane, I literally refuse to drive there, I hate the traffic
@@metarugia3981 I've been there once, we walked, took a river cat, and rode a bus, and I think I would die if I had to drive there. Never. Never ever 😆

Well Isaac, if you've been to California's biggest cities and been to New York at all. Then you've seen the worst of America. There are other hot-spots of crap in our country though. Pretty much any big city in any state makes all states look bad. You want to go to rural America to see the good parts. Any state, even California, has good parts. Not sure New York does though.
i once went on a holiday with my family to New York a while back. We went walking for a bit, took a few wrong turns, and got lost in some kind of shady suburb. We went up to a bus driver to ask for directions back to the city and as we were leaving he yells out 'be careful'! Thought it was only a matter of time before someone pulled a glock out of their waistband.
My parents and I camped at a caravan park in Dubbo. Across from us was an dude in a cabin clearly on ICE and he was acting really crazy we thought his girlfriend had OD so we told the park manager who went and told the ICE head we complained. All night we were awake while the ICE head repeated “don’t go over there, nah nah I won’t go over there” over and over to himself. Fun times!
@@abbyeastment1368 just fyi the highest town in Australia is Dinner Plain or Cabramurra in the Alpine areas of Vic and NSW. The highest city is Armidale. The 'highest' use of drugs seems to be the suburbs around Adelaide (for meth), Melbourne (for heroin) and Dubbo (for polypharma)

You not wrong about Melbourne, went on city experience in year 8… Day one: Protest against something, Day two: Vegan protest (because why the hell not) Day three: Tram Strike protest and people protesting the strike
Correction: Melbourne will protest for a lot of things, except that one time when Justine Damond got shot to death in the no longer United America by a black cop. When they were interviewed by a certain middle eastern comedian (that also lives in Australia) during a pro blm protest, he asks if they know that name (which ended up with 100% NOs) & after informing them of what happened, he asks why do you think her murder didn't get as much outrage as a certain sir George? Their answer? It's because she's a "white racist supremacist"...this was answered by a bunch of Uni students, early 20s CAUCASIAN Uni students mind you.
Add on to the list: My government owned rent house, small & old, sick of the government sending a person constantly coming to the house claiming "they're doing an inspection & they'll send a group of people to fix any thing that's been breaking down from said house (that's slowly falling apart)". Complete rubbish, Any broken walls or door frames is all us & the only thing they've done is a rushed repainting the wall on the outside of the house & that's it.
@@charleshillman2010 We always have, I already mentioned it in the last paragraph, we've got no problems with diy. What we do have a problem with is: -These house inspectors (sent by their higher ups) constantly "doing mandatory inspecting our home" every 3 months, constantly getting muddy boots everywhere inside & then buggers off with simple something like "alright that's it, K thanks-bye". -The people who send them down are the same people who ALWAYS empty promises us "they'll send a group to repair house damages". -Their higher ups are ALSO the same people who are extremely quick & good with 1 thing: threatening to kick us out forgetting to pay the bills on time...by 1 DAY. Why? Because we spent money on medical bills & car rego (both were due a lot earlier obviously), so we ended up a few dollars short & we waited the day (payday) after the due date to pay rent.
@@I_love_bread_and_Hungry_Jacks I dont see how your public housing being inspected every 3 month makes a whole city shit. 3 monthly inspections is the price of being in public housing. If you dont like it, you can always go into private housing. There are so many people waiting for public housing to become available who would happily take your place. You can tell people to remove their shoes when they enter your house. I make everyone remove their shoes - nobody ever says no or complains. 1 day late is still late - You can get payment extensions unless you are a person who is always late to pay your rent/bills. I used to be a debt collector and was always happy to give an extension to someone who needed it. Its better to get the money late than to have to go to court or to have you skip out on the debt. From perth> I disagree, I’ve lived in Darwin, Sydney, Melbourne and Newcastle. Perth is by far my favourite (just don’t go north perth or Armadale), if your a car guy it’s the spot everyone takes their clapped out falcons/commies down south to skid pans and let it rip, also have a lot of 4wd tracks. If you live in the Perth hills life is mint and peaceful

I live maybe 20mins from Brisbane city and i could probably count on 1 hand the amount of times I have gone there for stuff other than school. Sydney sucked, only good part was the zoo, same as Dubbo. Melbourne, haven't been there, don't want to. Perth, we don't speak about Perth.
As someone from Melbourne, I 100% agree with you. Protest happen all the time here. Lots of the time you go to the city and see flags, signs and propaganda at the entrance of parliament house and often you may see small rallies. About half the time when I go to the city centre I see some kind if advertising for a protest at parliament. We always have protests like LGBT and trans protests, black lives matter, religious protests, lots of climate change protests, iran protests as well, and even pro nazi protests as there were a few doing it at the corner of Spring and Nicholson street. You can see this every now and then in Melbourne and it happens a lot more here then in other cities. It's really hard because lots of people march on the tram tracks in the city and the trams need to run to get to their locations and lots of the time people can't get where they need to go because of "people on the tram tracks".
Love this vid and could have done a very similar one about the land of my birth (Scotland). You can be fond of your country and it's people without being blind to their shortcomings. How else is improvement or progress possible?

The shit about Logan is too accurate. Im around the corner from Logan and have mates that live in Woodridge and Kingston and its a warzone where you need to wear a stab proof vest just to go down to the servo.
Ahh Woodridge. Where one bloke gets rolled by a gang of girls, for some small change and a go-card, and another beat his neighbour with a mailbox XD
Bro goto Townsville cunts a getting locked up for doing highway shootouts
@@Synik86 dafuq are you guys on down there?
I left Qld in Jan. 2000 and even back then, Woodridge - Kingston were crime shitholes. One of the current affairs programs did a show on the crime around there, especially on the number of cars being stolen. One of the reporters asked the local police sergeant what people did for transport after their car had been nicked. He replied, "I think they just go out steal one themselves."
And he was only half-joking!
Townsville, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Gladstone, Moree are lucky not to get a mention. Brisbane was shit enough for Logan to get its own mention
Was two stabbings the first time I stayed in moree.
Would still go back 🤣

You got Frankston correct too.

Yes why is there no good seafood in Newcastle it’s insane
Co-op
Less beaches?
I agree with boredom and alcoholism but Newcastle's got plenty of beaches.
@@slunchtime Thank god…. Someone with a clue. 👍

Lived in Canberra for my whole life until a few months ago. Can confirm: "The Roundabout Capital of the World" is a boring, good-for-nothing, feculent scab on the beautiful country of Australia
As an American who's never been anywhere near Australia, I have to take your word on all this but I am enjoying doing so!
Thanks. I didn't want to have to type all that truth!
@@Loser_Alter_Ego Haha
i once went on a holiday with my family to New York a while back. We went walking for a bit, took a few wrong turns, and got lost in some kind of shady suburb. We went up to a bus driver to ask for directions back to the city and as we were leaving he yells out 'be careful'! Thought it was only a matter of time before someone pulled a glock out of their waistband.

@@jackcoburn1874 Nah. More likely to be a .38 revolver or some cheaper 9mm. Glocks are crazy expensive. LOL
Fun times!
So Dubbo is the highest place to go in Australia?
I really need to know what forced you to stay in Dubbo overnight. I say forced, because I can't imagine anyone doing it voluntarily.

It's because she's a "white racist supremacist"...this was answered by a bunch of Uni students, early 20s CAUCASIAN Uni students mind you.
did he also hit them with his chopping board while interviewing them???? or does just leave that to his wife?

Add on to the list: My government owned rent house, small & old, sick of the government sending a person constantly coming to the house claiming "they're doing an inspection & they'll send a group of people to fix any thing that's been breaking down from said house (that's slowly falling apart)".
Complete rubbish, Any broken walls or door frames is all us & the only thing they've done is a rushed repainting the wall on the outside of the house & that's it.
Fix it yourself.
@@charleshillman2010 We always have, I already mentioned it in the last paragraph, we've got no problems with diy. What we do have a problem with is:
-These house inspectors (sent by their higher ups) constantly "doing mandatory inspecting our home" every 3 months, constantly getting muddy boots everywhere inside & then buggers off with simple something like "alright that's it, K thanks-bye".
Take some responsibility for your life - no one else will.

Adelaide is fucking sick though, heard they have a big racism problem, but otherwise it's grouse there.
yeah don’t come here to Perth, it’s definitely bad and you should stay on the east coast
