I keep getting an error that says "it only works for a simulated garment" after pressing the auto-grading button. My garment is simulated though. Maybe it's just a bug?

Because in her case it was not a garment-file. It was a project file, wich means that clo thinks that you want to autograde his avatar also and does not allowe that.

thank you so much for this video....so less exists about clo 3d grading....I heard that the auto grading doesn t give good result and that it was better to grade ppint by point...for this I never used....what are you thinking about it? I love your videos...🖐🇫🇷😊
Hi Sophia, that is a great question. According to my experiences of using "auto-grading" it can be true that we might run into such as errors along the process, if we don't prepare the garment correctly. However, in some points I belief the computer is great when it comes to dealing with numbers and grading is about dialing the value into the computer and let it calculate the result. Of course, that does not mean we should realize all on the computers, but with some basic understanding how to garments work on human body is still essential and that we all can learn. Once again with clo, allows us to create the custom avatar and generating the sizes base on the avatar which is very cool, and I hope to make more grading videos soon because I myself fascinating how the computer can do an amazing thing! I feel that so far clo provides me more value and accuracy compare to hand drafting patterns, and I hope to share my perspective with you and the community. Please, let me know if you have more questions, love it!🌺👍
