I would buy that "totalled" house.😂 Client X your kind. Kerry, teach folks payoff you'll hit your million followers. I used to teach students how to get through college owing 0. 😊 It applies to home ownership.
About a year or two before you buy a house you need to start working on your credit. Pay off everything you possibly can! No new auto loans! When you apply for that mortgage your credit needs to look good! Debt and brand new loans will always hurt your chances.
I think more can / should have been done here. Number 1, it seems to me that the delivery truck guys would carry 'chain saw' as standard equipment. And the fact that getting a chain saw to open the space would have been minutes not hours...so action would have been better in this case. Number 3, it seems to me she could have cancelled the car own or rent, or swap out lower cost car to qualify...so was the house that important over a car? Always ask and inquire, even if the answer is no. Number 2 is so awful I feel so bad for those people and that good driver...and yes it is good the company was an honest company and carried real insurance...I am happy to hear the happy ending here.
Kerry must have been younger/newer in the business not to see how difficult that small areas or trees, can pose issues. I always wonder how those home deliverers can maneuver a new home into a plot or even taking out old homes from the lot without wrecking something.

It’s difficult to believe that person didn’t know not to make a major purchase while trying to buy a home! I suppose I was fortunate. That was made crystal clear to me.

I’ve always felt these offer such a great value for the money and allow for home ownership without being married to your mortgage. Your information is so helpful. Quite an informative video!! A scrupulous car dealer would have told the person, but one doesn’t neceßarily aßociate “scrupulous” with “car dealer.”
