If Rachel says the Prince is a stalker in Snow White, by that logic you could say Tony in West Side Story was a stalker. Stephen Spielberg's West Side Story had some changes to the original film but the story and the characters were the same, just given more backstory. I've heard that Rachel auditioned for Snow White without knowing what the project was and they wanted someone who could sing. It's no wonder Rachel was offered the role in that case as she is clearly gifted vocally. There' no doubt her singing will be great in Snow White but you do have to wonder why the film is called Snow White if the story has been changed so much with no Prince and no dwarves . There's no denying Rachle Zegler is a very talented singer and actress. She graduated high school in 2019, then in her first film she played Maria in Stephen Spielberg's West Side Story( she was cast while still in high school) and she's been cast in a number of other Hollywood movies since then. The Snow White film may be woke but Rachel is just a performer in the film, she didn't write the script, many young performers would jump at the chance to star in a Disney film. Rachel may have said some things that show an entitled attitude, people learn from their mistakes.
It’s sad, really. Looking at comments on this vid from 4-5 months ago, they’re all positive. But you’re right. Rachel did not write the film. Disney intended Snow White to be woke. Even if they casted Angelina Jolie, or Anne Hathaway as Snow White, the film will still be woke. And people don’t see that. People hated the woke idea and Disney realized they messed up. To save the movie and the money they put in it, they used Rachel as a scapegoat. It’s damage control. If people hate the movie, they not going to spend money to see it. But Disney is not going to let that happen. Yes her attitude needs tuning, yes she said some controversial things. But people need to know that she’s still young. And that Disney actually wanted her to say those things because it aligned with their concept. Otherwise, Disney would’ve called her out last year when the interview came out or would’ve fired her then. So Disney ruined her career, but saved their own asses.

I have to admit that when I first heard of Rachel Zegler, I saw her in some clips from a community theatre production of West Side Story, there is a monologue she did on youtube, I was very impressed with her singing and acting. She goes on about kindness yet I've heard some say that she blocks people if they point out examples where she hasn't been kind. If anything she could be sort of a genius musically yet immature in other ways. wow i have watched this girl perform in many of her high school musicals. i remember being so amazed by her talent, especially as belle in beauty and the beast and i cant believe how far shes come!! so inspiring🥺 my friend was also in the theater program with her and has said nothing but good things about rachel. she truly deserves all the recognition and success shes getting

Has anybody here met Rachel Zegler in person? Don't think you can judge a person solely by what they post on social media. If Rachel is a narcissist, it seems rare that she would state she is one outright. Perhaps she was joking. Don't think Rachel is evil, just brainwashed by some of the woke things like some young people are today. Some people say Rachel does not sound anything like Snow White is as a person but why should she be? Actors often portray roles that are very different to themselves. Look at Meryl Streep, all the vastly different roles she has played. The fact Rachel is a young actress with a great singing voice is why she is landing Snow White and The Hunger Games. Perhaps the reason some young actors are not on social media is because they fear if they are too outspoken about anything, it could affect their career. A lot of Rachel's problems seem to be in regard to her social media posts, not her talent as an actress or singer.

Snow White hasn’t come out yet so that doesn’t count. West Side Story released when covid is still high and it was a flop more so for Stephen Spielberg than her as a no name actress. Shazam well she was a side character not a lead.

There's no denying Rachle Zegler is a very talented singer and actress. She graduated high school in 2019, then in her first film she played Maria in Stephen Spielberg's West Side Story( she was cast while still in high school) and she's been cast in a number of other Hollywood movies since then. The Snow White film may be woke but Rachel is just a performer in the film, she didn't write the script, many young performers would jump at the chance to star in a Disney film.
Rachel may have said some things that show an entitled attitude, people learn from their mistakes.

It’s sad, really. Looking at comments on this vid from 4-5 months ago, they’re all positive.
But you’re right. Rachel did not write the film. Disney intended Snow White to be woke. Even if they casted Angelina Jolie, or Anne Hathaway as Snow White, the film will still be woke. And people don’t see that.
People hated the woke idea and Disney realized they messed up. To save the movie and the money they put in it, they used Rachel as a scapegoat. It’s damage control. If people hate the movie, they not going to spend money to see it. But Disney is not going to let that happen. Yes her attitude needs tuning, yes she said some controversial things. But people need to know that she’s still young. And that Disney actually wanted her to say those things because it aligned with their concept. Otherwise, Disney would’ve called her out last year when the interview came out or would’ve fired her then. So Disney ruined her career, but saved their own asses.

I only have a problem that she decided to talk down to what gave her a job in the first place. She wouldn’t have that specific role if that version of Snow White movie didn’t come out.
She's actually rather likable and very well-spoken, I wonder why she made those comments about the Snow White show. I do hope she learns and keeps going. I'm only 23 going on 24 I've made the mistake of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time and getting canceled. It is a very lonely feeling to make a mistake and be reminded of it constantly people forget to love sometimes. I do hope she bounces back she seems like a great individual.

I have to admit that when I first heard of Rachel Zegler, I saw her in some clips from a community theatre production of West Side Story, there is a monologue she did on youtube, I was very impressed with her singing and acting. She is clearly a very talented young woman.
judging from what I've seen of her recently with how she conducts herself on social media, she seems very conflicted. She goes on about kindness yet I've heard some say that she blocks people if they point out examples where she hasn't been kind. If anything she could be sort of a genius musically yet immature in other ways.
She got cast in seven film productions, mostly lead roles in big budget Hollywood films and she graduated high school in 2019. Her first ever film role she was cast by Stephen Spielberg out of thousands of hopefuls. Rachel also won a Golden Globe for her first ever film role. That is impressive.

wow i have watched this girl perform in many of her high school musicals. i remember being so amazed by her talent, especially as belle in beauty and the beast and i cant believe how far shes come!! so inspiring🥺 my friend was also in the theater program with her and has said nothing but good things about rachel. she truly deserves all the recognition and success shes getting

i kinda understand the hate with Rachel now.. she is a talented young person but at 22 (or something) I am sure she needs a ton of media training (or personality training). she may sound ungrateful, entitled, or above herself ,but i think it's all because she isnt socially trained well like i was at this age and literally heard comments like this towards me. and im not a horrible person i promise. with her resources, she can easily be media trained and her talent should shine thru. i hope people dont cancel her.

Has anybody here met Rachel Zegler in person? Don't think you can judge a person solely by what they post on social media.
If Rachel is a narcissist, it seems rare that she would state she is one outright. Perhaps she was joking.
Don't think Rachel is evil, just brainwashed by some of the woke things like some young people are today.
Some people say Rachel does not sound anything like Snow White is as a person but why should she be? Actors often portray roles that are very different to themselves. Look at Meryl Streep, all the vastly different roles she has played.
The fact Rachel is a young actress with a great singing voice is why she is landing Snow White and The Hunger Games.
Perhaps the reason some young actors are not on social media is because they fear if they are too outspoken about anything, it could affect their career. A lot of Rachel's problems seem to be in regard to her social media posts, not her talent as an actress or singer.
