I've had a pair of those moulds for going on 20 years. Lost count how many times I've used them. I have even added a bit of black to the plaster to pre-colour them on occasions. Added red when I did a South Devon based layout which worked quite well. A good tip if you only want the odd rock from a mould is to use ready mixed plaster. (No waste) If you want to add a bit of variety to a large outcrop of rocks use plaster of Paris. It's not as strong as what you would normally use but it means you can easily break the rock castings into smaller pieces to add to larger rocks to 'personalise' them.
I used to do something similar with Linka Moulds for building houses - rather too restrictive in choice, even with all moulds produced, but with care, can get special buildings... could be useful for damaged and weather eroded buildings, for example. Good effect, and as natural as you wish to make it, rather than buying preformed items, and plaster is cheap and readily available too!
Great video, I have been watching your videos and really enjoy them. I am new at this hobby and have been looking for various figures, I work in the O Scale. I have found some from the Woodland Scenics and Bachmann but then I watched this video of people rock climbing and had to ask where do you get these figures from. I know alot of people I ask don't tell because they want to keep it as a trade secret. So if you wouldn't mind me asking I would really appreciate it. Jen I would wait with the washes until the base paint is dry, then do some dry brushing in white or light grey to get that ‘stoney’ effect.
Rock on, Jenny!

You buy your rock molds from woodlen Scenics? How much are they?
Do they sell huge rock molds like 6inch wide by let's say 12 inches tall for my rock cliffs I want to build

They are from the range of figures made by Noch. They are readily available in the UK and Europe, but you may have to hunt for them in Canada.
Plenty of clubs have a box of moulds etc for this sort of thing that you can borrow (and please return!).
Just a spoonful of plaster... 🎶
