Interesting video. Love your collection, well done C&G Darlington modellers mentioned years ago a customer bought every A4 they could, but that was long ago. I love Duchess’s in maroon they are so impressive. I first saw them at Perth shed 1961/2 in BR green. I was being car sick, aged 7/8, travelling from Fife to Dundee. My family were tired of my constant car sickness, but were rewarded with a lot of LMS ‘cops’.You couldn’t see Perth Shed from the Rd, I discovered it, moving away from the road to be Ill. We lived near LNER metals. 0-6-0’s in BR black are another favourite, and GWR.
Envious of the 7F, Jenny. Hope you had a great Christmas & I wish you a Happy New Year. Just bought a brand new 2nd batch release of Dapol's 43xx for £108 from TMC.
1310 came from the NCB, I helped unload it at the Middleton in 1964/65. Silver King was the Hornby Dublo 3-rail A4. Strange that Union of South Africa and Bittern are not readily available as they are two of the preserved A4s.
Hi Jenny. I, Phil have a LNER A1 and A3 problem. Particularly Flying Scotsman of which I now have every livery she wore. That I'm aware of anyway. I've only got 3 A4s. Bittern in BR Green, Mallard in Garter Blue and Empire of India in Garter Blue too.
1310 was preserved by going into private industry and was never part of BR its currently out of ticket, with Rapido doing the sound recording a few weeks before it came out of traffic.
9F's for me. I'd like to get the latest Hornby one of Black Prince, but I can't justify the nearly £300 of the sound fitted one. I already have four - or is it five? examples, including a Crosti. (That's not a hint to any or everybody!)
I got a really thing for a few different locomotive, I have two Heljan class 33 one br blue and class 33 jenny Lewis and would have more of the Heljan class 33 if could afford them, also have 7 working class 08 and about 7 class 08 body shell that need a working chassis, also got a thing for the dapol Ventilated van 4 of the motor bike branded ones the 3 ice lolly one's two of the three chocolate branded ones and 6 dapol unpainted 21 ton hopper wagons and I'm hoping to get the 3 tea-bag branded Ventilated van by dapol some in the next few months, enjoy this video really liked the A4 got 5 of them but can't remember which one's I have . Also have a lot of different GBRF locomotive

Bargains! I've just spent a small fortune on my car without even thinking about it, I think I have a problem!!! 😆
I’m an A4 addict too Jenny, but in N Gauge!
I’m a collector, cars, Guitars (GAS), vinyl and N Gauge and OO models!!!😊

How did you come up with the name of your layout
I love the hydraulic locomotives such as the Westerns and Warships and class 86s electric locomotives
1310 is the ex NCB NER H class . She came out of ticket in 2023 unfortunately..

The first step along the road to recovery is to admit you have a problem ha ha ha
