    the SEC is great, Ole MISS, Arkansas, South Carolina, Vandy, Texas A&M, Missouri, & Kentucky combine for 8 SEC championships. Impressive until you come to the realization that Tulane and Georgia Tech combine for 8 SEC championships as well.

      @joe_zeay Well it does beg the question; Since half the SEC hasn't not won a SEC conference championship since the 1970's, how much would the Mississippi schools fortune's have changed if they had split off with Arkansas, and South Carolina had stayed in the ACC????

    You guys are being too optimistic I think. Media people are afraid to say it’s gonna be a bad deal. Big college football will simply be a minor league for the NFL and the big shot college teams will have less ties to the universities. Right now, Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, etc. are really professional footballs who happen to be playing in university stadiums.

    Not a team game anymore. Players will eventually unionize like the NFL, and I think the dynamic of being a "semi-pro" instead of a collegiate atmosphere will detract from the game. I think when players start making more the the coaches is the beginning of the end. Don't worry. television and sports betting will bastardize high school sports next.

    SEC and B1G need to let a few dominate teams from ACC (Clemson, Miami, FSU, Colorado, TCU, Baylor, NC, etc…) merge with their alliance and move away asap from the NCAA.

  • @robertadams6606

    I still see this whole thing sort of like MiLB. You may still have your College teams,but players can choose which path they want to take, some may want a College Education, while others can play "in the minor Leagues". The whole concept of a College Athlete is long gone. There does need to be a major realignment in regards to Geography.

    If a conference doesn’t have the easy wins within it, the conference eats itself when it comes to win loss record. Cupcake wins have put the SEC, BIG and ACC in the national championship playoffs. PAC12 is case in point.

  • @DarrellGomes

    So if the talking heads are correct about the future of college football why is FSU and Clemson spending all this money suing the ACC trying to get out? It seems a little patience will give them the outcome they’re looking for without paying the lawyers.

    The Super League is about generating the most revenue so they can pay their players. So it's probably going to be a 48 Team league because that makes the most sense. Nobody is saying 22 Teams except these bozos.

      @marks2807 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The fact we calculate the top 25 teams makes 22 make no sense as a number. We need at least more than 30+ to make a top 25 worth paying attention to.

    • @michaelwall3393
      @michaelwall3393 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      No it doesn’t. Head to Head the SBC has outperformed the MWC the last five seasons excluding the Covid 19 shorten season. Up until last season the AAC has outperformed all G5 conferences and anywhere from 1-3 former P5 conferences now down to P4. Last season during the regular season the SBC outplayed all G5 colleges and conferences. In the Postseason or Bowls it still is the AAC as the best vs G5 and now P4. Either the AAC gets way better and regroups and takes the regular season mantle as the best G5 conference back from the SBC; or perhaps, the SBC continues its regular season dominance as best G5 and parlays that momentum into the bowls and 12-team playoff selections. Last season the Mountain Worst Conference didn’t have a single team finish with 10 wins or have fewer than 4 losses. The conference champion of Mountain Worst Conference was 8-6 & runner up was 9-5 and both teams were destroyed in their bowl games that one team should have given a better showing but not necessarily win it. So until further notice of major changes, it is between the SBC and AAC conferences and then 2-3 teams from the MAC, CUSA, and possibly MWC that are competing for a 12-team playoff spot or two and maybe marquee major bowl games.

    I fear that if things in college football continue the way it is going, it may eventually end with congress regulating the whole industry and force media to pay schools equally regardless of their draw.

    • @CarlaJenkinsTV
      @CarlaJenkinsTV 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      I'm in the Big Ten (Ohio State). What's wrong with that? These are schools so it would affirm the 1954 Brown vs the Board of Education decision of separate but unequal. Division I is the unifying prinicple not football. For instance, a Division I football school gets access to more money than Division II.
