These are great realisations and self reflections. But are these really mistakes? We can often look at them as mistakes because your head is telling you if you hadn't done this or that you would still be together. But, look at the things you have put, its all centred around what 'she' wanted. At the time you made those decisions based on what you wanted, that's who you was at that time. So there is an argument here to say if you had done all those things, would you have been staying true to yourself at the time? Probably not. There is every chance therefore, even had you done them, the breakup may still have happened. You two were not aligned at the time, that's not her fault or yours. But I really want you to recognise that's all it was, and not see them as mistakes anymore. I hope that makes sense my friend?
I broke up with her. She lied and was deceitful over and over. I ended it for self preservation. Couldn't cope anymore. I'm gutted and I'm still in love with her. It's very difficult and I miss her beyond belief but I know I made the right decision.
