In the Beta of GTA V many things have been removed by Rockstar Games to get the actual GTA V that everyone of you know for example in when GTA V was in Beta Rockstar's have get the idea to add "Prone Button" in GTA V but finally they had remove it but at all it's a very good game I hope one day I will get the opportunity to play but not PS5 but on my PC with RTX [ON]😈🔥
As much as I love gta V, I always had that feeling that once you play it for a long time you get this feeling of emptiness, like you know what's behind the curtains. GTA IV feels so much alive is crazy its the earlier game.
Liberty city is more condensed but imo both games pull their own weight. GTA 4 felt pretty empty when I finished the story, wheras I kept playing 5 after the ending.
I really fear that this is most likely going to be the case. I keep hearing everybody say that current gen consoles are capable of it and I'm praying they do pull it off. They have teams of highly skilled engineers that know how to push hardware to their full capabilities and hopefully they'll somehow pull it off.
Would be nice if it was like GTA IV where there is an option to adjust the population density, so it would run better on lower end devices, hopefully they would care about PC players.

probably not. I mean, if you look at the red dead 2 trailers, the final release of the game actually looked better then the trailers. I assume this was because the ps3 and xbox 360 was much weaker then they expected so they had to downgrade gta 5 heavily before it released. Whereas with red dead 2 the ps4 and xbox one could do much more. Now with gta 6 on the ps5 and xbox series x. they'll be able to do much MUCH more and go levels above and i guarantee the next trailer will look way better then the first.
That’s not gonna happen. The difference you are seeing here is bc the trailer ran on PS3 and the “actual gameplay” ran on pc which is like 50x times stronger than ps3 if you look at the game at ps3 vs trailer not much has changed infact vegetation got removed. So sadly nah. that ain’t happening

Rockstar and lots of other respected studios in the industry kick down the detail during gameplay to get a higher frame rate. The deal is when you’re not playing during cutscenes the game winds up running a lot smoother and extra detail can be afforded. You’ll notice that the same amount of movement and details in the trailers are in fact present in cutscenes and even more so, but once you regain control it will despawn certain heavy details like vehicles, NPC interactions and the like because that’s when frame rate matters more, when you’re more engaged with the game mechanics than the story or eye candy to even notice.

There's at least one group of female NPCs doing Yoga in a park in east vinewood. But yeah, definitely more animations in the trailer to make it look livelier than it is in the actual gameplay
The mistake in this trailer was to practically set up the scenes as if these situations happened in the game, when they don't. I hope they don't make this same mistake in GTA VI. I hope at least some of these situations occur in gameplay, or at least in missions. Thumbs up if you were sitting in that hype train back in 2011 and remember that screenshot ❤ By the way, you should compare GTA V on Xbox 360 with the trailer because the oldgen setup is what Rockstar Games showed in the trailer.
Because in beta GTA V footage there were more greenery in some places etc and more dense but because of xbox 360's limitation they had to reduce alot of details so some things didn't make it to the final game
So many details were removed from the game like garbage bins and most trees, made the official game look empty. Makes me wonder what they’ll remove for GTA6. I know that beach scene we saw in the trailer will probably be empty as sh*t in the release game.

What? It looked more lively because rocks make that situations and npcs on purpose in the trailer. Do you think they didn't knew that weak consoles cannot give them what they wanted in begin with?

Yeah it was most definitely held back by PS3 limitations. They should've released it on PS4 instead but they wanted to profit off the people on current gen at the time that will soon buy the game a second time once they released it on PS4. If GTA 6 looks just like the reveal trailer then that's good enough for me, Im not asking much from Rockstar.
It was literally confirmed all of the NPCs were mocap actors specifically for the trailer. MICHAEL'S NARRATION WAS FOR THE TRAILER. Are you guys this idiotic?
Of course, Maverick Police is also different from the first Maverick Police trailer, because in the 2011 trailer, the color of Maverick Police was painted on the regular Maverick. Of course, you can play the Maverick Police trailer 2011 mod on PC as well, but it's like on game consoles This is not possible.
Got to remember that this isn't just trailer vs release, this is trailer vs remaster plus updates released. If you compared the trailer to the xbox360/ps3 version and then the 2024 version it'd be more interesting imo
something I wanna point out is that maybe we should lower our expectations for npc's in gta 6 a bit. at 1:07 we see the npc hammering a "for sale" sign to his yard but no npc's can actually do that in gta 5 so ik in the gta 6 trailer there were npc's using spray tan and taking selfies etc. Id like to HOPE the npc's are updated to do that stuff but lets remember sometimes they put stuff in just for trailer purposes. I just know we all have high expectations for gta 6 (which is fair after 10+ years 🤯) but I don't want us to be disappointed if it doesn't meet those expectations
The 2011 trailer looks so much more vibrant and lively! Even though some effects were made more realistic, I would definitely prefer playing with 2011 trailer graphics! Expanded & Enhanced version should have looked like the trailer, but it's just a lazy re-release without any upgrade!
Lighting/Shadering, Sun Rays Effects and Color Tones looks better in 2011 Trailer imo, The Trailer looks like a movie from real life LA but, the game is more of a software demo now Also, 2011 Trailer has fog effect on distance places but, the game lacks it now, far places look crystal clear, the fog effect adds a great realism I think I hope we won't get disappointed of GTA VI when we compare the actual game to the trailer(s)
Im hoping one thing they actually improve on with GTA6 is NPC's having their own lives, as depicted in the first GTA5 trailer. That mechanic does exist in RDR2 but Im hoping they carry it over
I had to pause the video every time because each scene literally lasted 2 seconds, you managed to make a 4 minute video last more than 10, congratulations.
Anyway, I really liked the dark vibrant filter in 2011 trailer and in release game, they removed the dark tone and made it to more vibrant guess the early beta story of GTA V was going to be dark 🤷♀ but they were like "Nah we'll do it next time on other game (RDR2)" well they sacrificed a lot of things from GTA IV from physics to story but they fixed it in their next gen RDR2 game which rockstar dosnt give a F and thinks that this game dosnt exist no updates, no next gen ports, they loss it all just for GTA online🤷♀
No they didn't, the trailer showed the loud dumb approach just like the 2024 version, but for the trailer they used the bugstar outfits which were for the silent approach, so rockstar misled us for the trailer, they didn't show the wrong part
Wanted to point out that in the 2011 trailer that cars seem to have tinted windows by default just like real life. In the game today, cars just spawn with non tinted windows by default which breaks the realism a bit.
The game has been tweaked and adjusted dozens of times over the years. It's no surprise that it looks better now. Remember, the game was announced for PS3, and has been remastered for every console and PC, that was made after that. It's crazy to think that I play a modern non-old-school game ,for over 13 years and still enjoy it.😂
It's the higher NPC density and details, the final game looked dead. I really hate how the final game is dull and gray looking but in the trailers it looked like they were going for bright vibrant LA sunlight vibes. I always felt like the game didn't fully pull off the LA vibes perfectly like GTA IV did with New York. They even removed the trees @ 1:50 in the final game which takes away from the LA feel. They should've never released this game on PS3, clearly it's hardware held them back from pulling off what they originally tried to achieve in the reveal trailer.
@@fordgtcar110 exactly what im thinking, looking at the trailers they did that LA vibe so well, and just like u said the game looks dead now, not even close to what actual California feels like, i played gta sa and watch dogs 2 which did the cali vibes better than gta 5, the colors arent even done well, the trees look more gray and boring than green and vibrant
2:01 Here they used fog in the trailer to give depth to the mountain. It's a technique often used by developers to make something look bigger than it really is. 3:28 Here they've just used extra lights to brighten up the car.
I think the trees on the near side of the mountain also plays a role in illustrating the scale of the mountain which is why it looks bigger in the trailer
tbh there have been changes since the original release. i remember comparison videos when it launched on xbox 360. it was similar to the trailer, especially population density. the remaster took that out in favor of more detail.
I think the game improved almost everything in the trailer, but in some parts I felt the lighting in the trailer was better. Another interesting part is the sky, in the trailer it seems more alive to me because of the clouds, I don't remember if there is a period like that in the game.
I would really to get hold of that beta or alpha version which this trailer was based on. That looks way more fun. Just the trees/redwoods and vegetation alone makes this trailer more alive.
Recently I played Dead Rising 3, and when I reached the late game, zombies were so numerous that even driving the car couldn't cross the road. They added so many zombies in the street, but my PC never faced an FPS drop. I don't know how they did it . Me and my friend play co-op and it was so much fun.
My god, they were limited by the software at the time. They had to downgrade so it'd work, if you believe me, let's remember that they made Rdr2 for the PS4 back in 18, and they had all the stuff the GTA 5 trailer had and more. It'll be fine
The lighting in the trailer was freaking amazing must have been custom for only those scenes because wow that looked incredible I don't even want to look at the actual game ever again now....
All the companies uses a reshade for the CGI`s but, in reality (2011>2015) most of consoles can't easily handle with the differences of lights and shadows... and most of reshades are really heavy for the machines.
@@Dan1el7493 it really doesn't for 80% of the shots. Especially the windmill shot. Vegetation is super taxing on GPU's and at the time we didn't have the the tech to run as much foliage as you can see in the trailer on 360/ps3
Trailer is better Volumetric light Better physique Better smock effect Better vegetation Better atmospherique perspective Better shadow and occlusion More pnj and they are more diversified
Funny how the more you look at five's trailer the more you see that the background is just empty/placeholder. Now imagine how much six is going to improve compared to the trailer
The lighting, the density of plants and trees, the mountain area and the colour is more realistic in the trailer. In the final version the green colors of the lawn look more exaggerated and less realistic, in fact there is no lawn and they have replaced it with a flat texture. But the draw distance and texture resolution looks better in the final version.
I feel like the original 2013 release on PS3 and Xbox 360 had a much closer look to that original beta footage. Not only because the beta footage actually *IS* an early PS3/Xbox 360 build, but also because the PS3/360 versions of GTA 5 had much more saturated colors and they lack that gray haze that's present on all subsequent releases. I know GTA 5 on the PS3/360 is objectively worse form a pure graphical fidelity perspective, but I actually like it the best for its visual *style.*
the trailer looks way more detailed which leads me to believe that the gta 6 trailer is just bullshit and we will get a very watered down version of what was in the trailer especially with ped density
I watched 1.22 and I want the 2011 Version .. thats why i never felt like im playing the game of the trailer and didnt notice some areas man rockstargames why changing so much even the orange weather was so good
Think it's very misleading with the npc's in the trailers, the trailer makes them out to be so much more lively then they turn out to be. Makes me wonder if the beach scene we got in gta 6 trailer will actually be as lively as it looked in trailer
The lighting and shading looks way better in the 2011 trailer. Textures appear to be crisper in the final but 2011 just looks more cinematic in my opinion. Not sure how this wasn’t improved on the latest next gen version of gta 5
Spot the differences !

Tf u talking about 😭, the only "big" difference is the npc selling his house, nothing more
Why has it always felt like gta 5 got some kinda hidden downgrade to what it was originally supposed to be?
Consoles. The hardware was primitive for the time.
Game was too advanced for 2011 and had to downgrade it for consoles to run it
The filter used in the trailer is much better than the one in the final 2024 version.
The trailer looks more lively and warmer than the actual game
The actual game really just feels too shallow
4:09 SPEEDOPHILE 2000 lol
Of course, Maverick Police is also different from the first Maverick Police trailer, because in the 2011 trailer, the color of Maverick Police was painted on the regular Maverick. Of course, you can play the Maverick Police trailer 2011 mod on PC as well, but it's like on game consoles This is not possible.
Got to remember that this isn't just trailer vs release, this is trailer vs remaster plus updates released. If you compared the trailer to the xbox360/ps3 version and then the 2024 version it'd be more interesting imo
Looks like better lighting & shaders for 2011 .. It's default console's uniques over PC ( always , before ) .
something I wanna point out is that maybe we should lower our expectations for npc's in gta 6 a bit. at 1:07 we see the npc hammering a "for sale" sign to his yard but no npc's can actually do that in gta 5
so ik in the gta 6 trailer there were npc's using spray tan and taking selfies etc. Id like to HOPE the npc's are updated to do that stuff but lets remember sometimes they put stuff in just for trailer purposes. I just know we all have high expectations for gta 6 (which is fair after 10+ years 🤯) but I don't want us to be disappointed if it doesn't meet those expectations
gta 6 had such a good story bro can't wait for others to try it, especially if we're still checking out old stuff from gta 5
The 2011 trailer looks so much more vibrant and lively! Even though some effects were made more realistic, I would definitely prefer playing with 2011 trailer graphics!
Expanded & Enhanced version should have looked like the trailer, but it's just a lazy re-release without any upgrade!
Lighting/Shadering, Sun Rays Effects and Color Tones looks better in 2011 Trailer imo, The Trailer looks like a movie from real life LA but, the game is more of a software demo now
Also, 2011 Trailer has fog effect on distance places but, the game lacks it now, far places look crystal clear, the fog effect adds a great realism I think
I hope we won't get disappointed of GTA VI when we compare the actual game to the trailer(s)
Im hoping one thing they actually improve on with GTA6 is NPC's having their own lives, as depicted in the first GTA5 trailer. That mechanic does exist in RDR2 but Im hoping they carry it over
It does exist in rdr2
Can't wait how GTA6 would look like at launch compared to its trailer
2:07 - And this person has 3.5 million subscribers...You edited the video and didn't even watch it before adding it to TH-cam
I had to pause the video every time because each scene literally lasted 2 seconds, you managed to make a 4 minute video last more than 10, congratulations.
2:07 You take wrong part
Robbery??!!
@@Master_Team1yes there are 2 choices in that robbery mission and those choices have different outfit
@@EnterpriseCompileryes you're right but I think there's also gameplay footage shown as a trailer😂
Anyway, I really liked the dark vibrant filter in 2011 trailer and in release game, they removed the dark tone and made it to more vibrant
guess the early beta story of GTA V was going to be dark 🤷♀
but they were like
"Nah we'll do it next time on other game (RDR2)"
well they sacrificed a lot of things from GTA IV from physics to story
but they fixed it in their next gen RDR2 game which rockstar dosnt give a F and thinks that this game dosnt exist
no updates, no next gen ports, they loss it all just for GTA online🤷♀
No they didn't, the trailer showed the loud dumb approach just like the 2024 version, but for the trailer they used the bugstar outfits which were for the silent approach, so rockstar misled us for the trailer, they didn't show the wrong part
Trailer looked better in most parts
True
I don't know why but the trailer looks good. But it's a little bit cartoonist.
Wanted to point out that in the 2011 trailer that cars seem to have tinted windows by default just like real life. In the game today, cars just spawn with non tinted windows by default which breaks the realism a bit.
Pausing and displaying the differences made this a great video
Imagine GTA 6 looking better on release than it does right now with that trailer.
2011: gráficos de PS3 e Xbox 360
2024: gráficos de PS5, Xbox Series S e PC
The game has been tweaked and adjusted dozens of times over the years. It's no surprise that it looks better now. Remember, the game was announced for PS3, and has been remastered for every console and PC, that was made after that. It's crazy to think that I play a modern non-old-school game ,for over 13 years and still enjoy it.😂
Is it just me or trailer looks way better?
Absolutely
Just you.
@@fordgtcar110Just say you dont like the game dude.
If we watch GTA 6 trailer in 2024, means that GTA 6 graphic will be much better in 2034
2:01 Here they used fog in the trailer to give depth to the mountain. It's a technique often used by developers to make something look bigger than it really is.
3:28 Here they've just used extra lights to brighten up the car.
I think the trees on the near side of the mountain also plays a role in illustrating the scale of the mountain which is why it looks bigger in the trailer
@@iwoaf Yes, exactly, good point.
tbh there have been changes since the original release. i remember comparison videos when it launched on xbox 360. it was similar to the trailer, especially population density. the remaster took that out in favor of more detail.
conclusion: vegetation
Trailer looked a little more like GTA IV.
Can we take a moment to remember the people that think the GTA6 trailer was gameplay footage 😂
720p vs 1080p
the 2011 trailer look way more better than the final game
early devs were just spamming palm trees lmao
They had to remove them for optimization
I think the game improved almost everything in the trailer, but in some parts I felt the lighting in the trailer was better. Another interesting part is the sky, in the trailer it seems more alive to me because of the clouds, I don't remember if there is a period like that in the game.
It's been more than a decade for the game, ofc it's improving
I would really to get hold of that beta or alpha version which this trailer was based on. That looks way more fun. Just the trees/redwoods and vegetation alone makes this trailer more alive.
Blessed you fam. Brings back soooooo many memories
This is just a study in how lighting and focal length affect how evocative a shot is.
I hate how less lively gta v is now
A video like this can found on TH-cam is impossible😮
Amazing video Bro
Thank you :D
Recently I played Dead Rising 3, and when I reached the late game, zombies were so numerous that even driving the car couldn't cross the road. They added so many zombies in the street, but my PC never faced an FPS drop. I don't know how they did it . Me and my friend play co-op and it was so much fun.
_You have to admit that the GTA V trailer was a marvel._ 🤩👌🏻
GTA6 will looks slightly worse than the trailer, but once people jump into the game like crazy, no one cares about those details
Fun fact, all of GTA trailers are in-game footage. It's their tradition
some parts in the trailer looks like real life
Great effort pit into this video.13 years later and I still fucking love this game
the only thing you'll notice compared to RDR2, which was released much later, is the lack of NPCs and life in certain places compared to the trailer.
Well they always make the trailer look more interesting than the release product
All the companies uses a reshade for the CGI`s but, in reality (2011>2015) most of consoles can't easily handle with the differences of lights and shadows... and most of reshades are really heavy for the machines.
I got a feeling gta6 will be the same way the trailers look all good but the actual game isn’t no where near the trailers
It's are just minor details dumboo
gta 5 was limited by ps3 and xbox360
go compare rdr 2 trailers to rdr 2 pc gameplay, thats a more accurate representation.
What " same way"? GTA 5 looks wayy better in the final game
@@Dan1el7493there is prop reduction and some scenes suggest a map proportion reduction like in 1:56
@@Dan1el7493 it really doesn't for 80% of the shots. Especially the windmill shot. Vegetation is super taxing on GPU's and at the time we didn't have the the tech to run as much foliage as you can see in the trailer on 360/ps3
Trailer is better
Volumetric light
Better physique
Better smock effect
Better vegetation
Better atmospherique perspective
Better shadow and occlusion
More pnj and they are more diversified
The lighting looks so much better tho
Funny how the more you look at five's trailer the more you see that the background is just empty/placeholder. Now imagine how much six is going to improve compared to the trailer
The lighting, the density of plants and trees, the mountain area and the colour is more realistic in the trailer.
In the final version the green colors of the lawn look more exaggerated and less realistic, in fact there is no lawn and they have replaced it with a flat texture.
But the draw distance and texture resolution looks better in the final version.
Trailer have some irl feel
Different times of day.. also different game version. First trailer was meant for the 360/PS3 versions. I'm sure the atmosphere changed a bit.
Rockstar never lies in their trailers, so I'm 99% confident GTA 6 will look like the trailer
3:34 Single frame of a burning car??
It's just me, or the lighting model in trailer it's like Midnight Club LA?
3:36 You could ve used the gang guy in director mode being chased by the cops
I watched 1.22 and I want the 2011 Version .. thats why i never felt like im playing the game of the trailer and didnt notice some areas man rockstargames why changing so much even the orange weather was so good
For me, the lighting is better in the trailer. It's more orange lighting.
Think it's very misleading with the npc's in the trailers, the trailer makes them out to be so much more lively then they turn out to be. Makes me wonder if the beach scene we got in gta 6 trailer will actually be as lively as it looked in trailer
Sometimes I wonder what the game could have been like originally if they weren't hardware limited by the old PS3 and XB360
The lighting and shading looks way better in the 2011 trailer. Textures appear to be crisper in the final but 2011 just looks more cinematic in my opinion. Not sure how this wasn’t improved on the latest next gen version of gta 5
04:23 Min They have even reduced the number of individual screws for the rotor blades on wind turbines.
