They clearly could at least make a PS4 Pro version. This game is not enticing me to a PS5 one decent game 4 years in? Seriously? This is a game that would benefit from cross platforming. Its not going to sell as well as they hope. Then will have another dead franchise.
So you are salty this games not available on an old platform that you had over 4 years time to upgrade from? For real do you expect them to develop games on PS4 forever? Console generations change you ether upgrade or you don't. But if you choose not too you eventually start missing out. I agree this generation has been slow and meh. But developer's shouldn't have to wast extra development time. Because certain people don't wanna upgrade or can't. Also FYI the games the 4th top seller on steam atm so your whole argument already has fallen off.
Just… turn it off? It’s meant to be realism at the cost of your framerate. What did you expect? Things to magically look like you could conceivably see it in real life as in the screen without a single frame dropped? Get your expectations in check. Like always it's kind of hit and miss. Some areas looks better with RT while other are better with it turned off.
Nvidia 4080?
As always, all that computing power RT hardware is wasting, could be used somewhere else to substantially improve graphics and other elements. The Enb series is the perfect example of smart development and implementation of techniques to do just that.
Just let it be RTX OFF unless 4090
The game only losses 15% performance on Nvidia GPUs and 40% on AMD GPUs on Hardware Ray Tracing so definetely RT
Think ill just turn it off lol ngl if u playing it for hours, ur mind just wont notice those stuff cause u mostly just focus on gameplay and story
im not a great technician but honestly i dont see how on first seconds of video, those reflection cant be done without ray tracing, it looks like a scam because it take really nothing to do exactly as with RT on with normal cards...
Besides, speaking of reflections in mirrors already 100 years ago knew how to realize without RTX, and here even with RTX they are soapy, even taking into account that the mirror is supposedly dirty in the bathroom.
@@user-vk1ci2jy9z so true...yet i think somehow they made the no rtx reflections blurry or bad on purpose, i mean i know ray tracing is cool and a technology complex and all, but come on seriously those rtx on reflections cant be made normally in 2024 without losing a good 70% of performance?? also some ambient occlusion with rtx on looks bad, look at those plants, they are too bright and unrealistic with rtx, i just dont get it..
It's modern games don't use older techniques like planar reflections, render to texture, or just mirroring geometry for a multitude of reasons. These are normally performance and world design related. The reflections here are the SDF reflections that software Lumen uses based off of a simplified version of the world that Lumen traces against. RT on traces against much more complex models thanks to it having access to the RT hardware on the GPU
@@Devilot91 The plants are far too dark with software RT. That's often an issue with software lumen over darkening scenes just like what's shown here.
You need English lessons.
GHOSTING! Like with old dlss?
Sorry to be nit-picky... but why is the logo of RT is Nvidia? They don't own Ray-Tracing.
With the coming of RT games' object and texture quality will stuck for a moment.
Rt Off look sometimes more creepy in Room s Fantastic Game
Just tried game....looks nicer than it plays. Optimization seems to be out the window on this one. 7800x3d and 7900xt btw.
Se ve mejor sin Ray tracing😂
Raytracing is amazing. 😍😍👍👍
Re4 remake and alan wake 2 still look better tho..
I agree about alan, but resident 4 is flat.
@@user-vk1ci2jy9z not its not. RE4R still holds up well.. let me guess you played it on outdated trash consoles? it looks allot better on PC
@@a2raya772 Defintely not, played it on my 4090 PC and my PS5, the PC version is only a tiny bit better, like the hair, reflections and resolution. You really have to put them side by side to see the difference. This is true for MOST PC vs PS5 games btw.
Nah not re4 , the remake lost almost all of its atmosphere
Alan I can accept
@@rubeesharma4316 thats why it got rated 10s? keep crying. Remake beats original. bigger areas. you can run and shoot, compared to original cant shoot while moving...
I personally think rt off looks better
2:30 is kinda scary !
Thank you for keeping system specifications and performance a secret. Those aren't important at all.
И? Где включается эта херь
Is this UE5?
Yes, it is.
Даже nvidia не вывозит свой rtx))
Ryzen 5 5500 with 4060. How well can i play this game guys?
Don’t bother it’s a stuttering mess
Reflections cutting through the fog is still dumb
Is realism important in all games nowadays? Except flight or racing simulators? Aren't pixel-art games good and fun? RTX makes a difference in lighting, but… who cares? I mean, it's good for the players who focus on reflections in the water instead of what is actually happening in the game… But other than that, the "worst" version of a game like that is as enjoyable to me in terms of story, immersion and gameplay as the "best" one. Funny thing is that there is a noticeable visual difference, but you don't see it.
wish Reshade worked on the unreal 5 engine, but it does not :(
Has la comparación de Ps5 con Pc
Did a pretty bad job on global illumination when RT off
When you're 80 years old you do you really want to look back at your life and think "How much of my life wasn't ray traced?" Just get a 4080/4090 and enjoy it. Everything just works
I think if I was 80 I wouldn’t be thinking of ray tracing I’d probably think “damn I’m old”
¿Hay problemas de rendimiento?
Da tirones a 1440p mínimos pero molestos.
song name?
4:04 what's with the smearing??
Thats DLSS upscaling artifacts. Devs didnt bother to add proper DLSS version and set a proper preset. You can almost fix them yourself with DLSSTweaks tool.
I don't like the graphics of this game on pc. Just doesn't look like a AAA game of 2024...but maybe thats what they intended.
The raytracing is good though.
Lighting gets ruined
tiene mucho ruido el ray tracing 0:40
English
RT on just look different, not better.
ue5 is trash
Considering RE4 remake is on a base PS4 this is not impressive at all. PS5 5 times as powerful as a base PS4 looks like a PS4 Pro enhanced game.
TLOU 2 looks like a 9th generation game.
Already in top 3 sellers on steam🙂
This is gonna look sick on my PS5 Pro 😝
Es Playstation 5?
Seguramente pc con grafica de nvidia ya que está el logo arriba a la izquierda
No, las consolas apenas aguatan el ray tracing
Da água pra water
Yet another game where raytracing = Everything wet and shiny at the cost of half of your framerate. Can't fucking stand raytracing.
Just… turn it off? It’s meant to be realism at the cost of your framerate. What did you expect? Things to magically look like you could conceivably see it in real life as in the screen without a single frame dropped? Get your expectations in check. And sorry you don’t like the art direction, but I think they’ve done a damn good job. Especially seeing as you’ve no idea that fog is generally water vapour which would indicate rain in some cases. Clearly, this is the case in Silent Hill 2.
@@Wedge_The_Almighty I always do turn it off even though I have capable hardware. Other than pathtracing in Cyberpunk, most RT just makes everything look glossy, wet or plastic. I'm seeing it in Silent Hill 2 Remake where hard wood looks like a puddle.
Global illumination is good for RT but still just looks like turning up the brightness. I have no issue with the art direction, never said anything bad about it, the game looks gorgeous but RT just isn't worth it.
That's not even the issue with ray tracing, you're just describing how they author the materials of the textures. You act like this wasn't done in games that use rasterization
It's all about preferences
Not much difference.
