- Do you pronounce the first R in February? What sound does the U make in July? How do you pronounce Wednesday? You know the English names for the days of the week and the months of the year. But are you pronouncing them correctly?
Watch this video to learn the correct pronunciations and practice saying them with me!
The exact pronunciation will vary slightly depending on your accent, but the pronunciations that I give you will be understood in all English speaking countries.

Can you resend me it , please ??
Thank you ❤
I was born on August 12. 😊😊😊
I found this helpful for me a lot. I've seen some your videos on Facebook, and they were really amazing and informative. Could I ask you a questions, teacher Mike ?
My question: In case, I would like to ask someone such as : teachers, elderly people and so on for information, Could I add " Mr,Miss,Mrs,Ms" before their names ? And Could I use this way to you ? Like Mr.Mike ?
It depends on the culture and on the person you are speaking to. If you don't know how to address someone, it's best to ask. You could ask "May I call you ____?" Or "How would you like me to address you?"
Thank you ❤
My favorite month is August.
I was born in that month.
Some people said that Jesus was born on August 21 in -7 AC.
❤❤❤
Thank you for your work, Mike. Could you, please, refine, is there any difference between [-deɪ] and [-dɪ] variants: [sʌndeɪ]/[sʌndɪ], etc?
I've never heard it pronounced the second way.
I was born on February .It is easier to avoid pronouncing the first,r".🎉🎉🎉❤
Yes.😊
Hu good morning sir❤

Week is weeker than month and years but stronger than a day
Weeker or weaker?
@@TeacherMikeEnglish which means not strong
Would you answer my questions after being your subscriber sir?
I will usually answer questions even if you are not a Subscriber/Member.
J'😅
What?
Long time ago, when I studied English at school, We said ...diiiiiiiii instead of ...day. What variant is more correct to pronounce? MonDiiiiii or MonDAY?
I don't think there are any native speakers who pronounce it that way, but I could be wrong.
As with all of these pronunciation "guides", this is just how the presenter pronounces things and should not be taken as definitive or authoritative in any way. In the UK, the second day of the week is pronounced CHOOSE-day, and it is more common to pronounce the third day of the week as WED-uns-day. The second month of the year is pronounced FEB-roo-urree.
That may be true, but I am giving you most common pronunciations that you will find in dictionaries or taught in the majority of schools/books.
