And what about " to be proud of". Your parents will always be proud of you, because you are not only talented person, but also a kindhearted, so intelligent one. Thank you so much.
The only mistake I used to make was saying 'I slept late.' But I wont make it anymore, thanks to you. Thanks a lot, Teacher Mike!! Common mistakes videos are so helpful.
Thank you, Mike for explaining tese mistakes. You see, we use the word "dear" for showing our respect to smb. To say simply " Mike" for us is not common. And one more thing : When American people write to us they use the word " dear" before our names. That's why it's a little bit confusing for me.
Thank you so much for correcting these mistakes I really enjoy learning with you. The last mistake of calling you Mark, is really funny and shows that people make mistakes for the sake of making mistakes😅🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
Thanks a lot, our Super Teacher for this useful information. It's not correct to comment on your videos "Break a leg or I'm proud of you'. My parents say "I'm proud of you." I have doubts about her real personality.
😮😮 so much things. How can I remember? This point about dear, its perfect. I fight when someone specially men come to me call me Dear. Its exact like that. I think its not respectful for me. And sometimes its like someone try show its better or make me in child situation. Sorry my bad english. 😅

@@TeacherMikeEnglish sir, read the use of waters in this sentence from 'the day the dam broke.' Had grandfather not come to, atthe corner of Parsons Avenue and town street we would unquestionably have been overtaken and engulfed by the roaring waters- that is, if there had been any roaring waters.
Teacher Mike!!! really!! Say DEAR even, to people who don't be your husband, wife, and child It's wrong?. Maybe I am traslating directky from Spanish. I like this word so much, so can I use it with people who I consider them my friends that I have special kind of love and I was close with them. Please, if not tell me what word can I use instead of it please!! 😂
I felt that they feel comfortable. Teacher when you sent a letter for example to recommend someone. As a greeting it's very common. Am I right!. I will take care when I use it. Thank you for taking the time to comment on it. I appreciate it.
People used to write very formal/romantic sounding letters. We continued using the word "Dear" in letters/emails just because of tradition. But generally, "Dear" is only used in formal writing nowadays.
Okay i got it, probably some people call you dear because they wanted to express their affaction to you hahaha. No worries i won't call you dear we have the same gender.😂
The best explanation ever.☺️🙂

This is a very informative video. Sir, I often time see waters instead of water. So is waters a countable noun.
You shouldn't see it often, but it does exist. It means "seas".

Some native speakers use it with people who are not family, but many people are offended or annoyed by this.

Hi Teacher Mike. I didn't understand when you explain about sleeping late vs. Go to bed late
Can you explain it in other words?
Go to sleep late = start sleeping later than normal
Sleep late = wake up later than normal
either use a name or occupation after comma, you should always capitalize the first letter.correct?
Yes.
It is useful 🧡
Thank you , Mike! But I want to know why when we write a letter either formal or informal we greet with the word Dear....., .
People used to write very formal/romantic sounding letters. We continued using the word "Dear" in letters/emails just because of tradition.
But generally, "Dear" is only used in formal writing nowadays.
Okay i got it, probably some people call you dear because they wanted to express their affaction to you hahaha.

Teacher mike I have a queries What we should say at presentation time to Teacher thank you for the opportunity or thank you for the provide platform?
After you are finished speaking. Just say "Thank you," to the whole audience.
Although I learned from you that information is always singular, it's most time not easy for me to use it this way 🤷♀️ It's just not logical to me 😩
I understand.😅
In Spanish, information is información, and It's singular just like in English. I'm lucky.🤣
👍🙂
Dear.....😁😁😁....
..
🌱🌱
🌹
I don't say i have doubt but, can i say i have gotten a doubt?
No. "Doubt" is not correct in this context.
Brexit? 😂 Brexite or Brexit?🤔
Sorry Mr. Mike
You are suffering a lot from what you see from us! 😁😁😁🌱
😂Not at all. You guys are the best.
@@TeacherMikeEnglish thank you. 🌱🌱
