Few months back, when we were researching on this issue and made a video on this, we were saddened by the fact that Nepal had all these industries - including Biratnagar Jute mill, Bhrikuti Kagaj Karkhana, Birgunj chini udhyog and many more - and had to lose all of it due to political interests of some politicians. 1000s of jobs lost, 1000s of families suffered and Nepal lost its some of the best exporting credibility.
Thank you Sisan dai for your on-ground reporting on Biratnagar Jute mill. It really puts out more light on the fact we presented and even more light on how and why politics have been hurting our industries in the backend.

Thank-you Sisan son for showing us the old birtanagar jutt mill I still remember when we travel from North East India to Nepal @ 70's era after my dad got retire ment from Indian army. There were so many labours from India coming to biratnagar for work. During our travel people used to talk about the biratnagar juttmill. The politics of nepal ruin the company and all those beautiful factories
Biratnagar Jute Mill bata najikai around 2-3 KM ko distance ma ancient historical Birat raja ko Durbar ko remainings pani chha. Bhediyari bhanchha tyo place lai. Birat Raja was one of the character in Mahabharat where Pandavs stayed during their gupta baas. Hope u will cover that place too.
After watching this vlog, I felt misery towards my nation politicians. They had totally detriment the factories and industries that are running from years and years ago. How we are back from the development even we have these amazing factories like as sugar,jute,tyre etc. Even the worker got a good facilities and wages that time. But due to greedy and eage they totally detriment the country. Shame on them. Really it's a disappointing fact that we are importing those things from India that we had export while we had these factories. If those factories were not closed our brothers wouldn't compulsion to go abroad.

Birat Raja ko Durbar ko ruins bhako thau ni janu parthyo ni..It has a loooonng history...there is actually an old man jasle tyaha ko artifacts haru conserve garera afnai ghar ma rakhnu bhako chha..ani he welcomes and explains everything to whoever visits there...govt bata kei interest/support chhaina jaba ki it can connect us with 5000 years old history. Went there in October and it was so interesting.
