    How do you set up UPS shipping on Shopify please?

  • @naggano
    @naggano 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Hello! I'm new to Shopify and I'm struggling with the saved packages settings. How can I configure custom packages for different products? For example, I've saved small, medium, and large boxes, each for different types of products. However, it appears that Shopify uses the default package to calculate shipping weight and cost. Is there a way to assign specific packages to individual products so Shopify can factor that into the final weight? Let's say I sell small items that can be shipped in a 50 grams box, but other larger items need to be shipped in a 100 grams box. The default package is 50 grams, and it seems like that's the weight Shopify will use to calculate the cost of shipping.

    I never can get an explanation from the beginning. At the 3:00 mark, you paying from shipping. How do you get charged for shipping if you under charge. Do I need a usps account. Do they not except the package at the post office if the package is under paid

    • @dantewordlaw8677
      @dantewordlaw8677 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Bruhh, you’re always the one paying for shipping at USPS. In this instance, the customer didn’t already cover the cost, so she may have to pay out of pocket. But the customer is paying you, and you’re using their money to pay for shipping always. Btw you can’t ship a product if you haven’t paid the shipping price at USPS

  • @pbusch1999

    I just have a question so when the customer pays for shipping using the calculated shipping cost it just “credits you the money” for the shipping then you go use that toward the shipping, or does it just automatically give you the shipping label? I hope that makes sense

    • @janiahmarie5800
      @janiahmarie5800 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      When the costumer pays for the shipping it will have a option for you to print because when the customer pays it generates a shipping label so the shipping label will already be made
