    The Warranty is simple just walk it to the Customer Service area with the new one and let them know you are warranting the item that's it.
    If the rep tells you to have a receipt let them know they have no idea what they are talking about and read the warranty back to them.
    If Husky doesn't make the item anymore they have to honor the warranty with something different but with equal value. Ridgid hand took is the same.

    • @kingsteegg
      @kingsteegg 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Beat me to it. Yes, what Ricky said. I brought in a socket that I broke. No questions at all. It's the only Husky tool I have ever broken and it was all my fault. Not a fan of any their modular storage options, or those tiny pocket backpacks.

  • @dtester
    @dtester 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    For hand tools it's lifetime, no receipt, no questions. It doesn't matter if the damage is ur fault. Walk into Home Depot go to customer service. You might get a worker that doesn't know the policy but just explain it to them.
    Husky tool bags are NOT lifetime if I remember correctly.

  • @jmackinjersey1

    Husky/HD warranty works by taking the old/broken tool in to the customer service desk, telling them you need a new one and then they either tell you to go get the new one and bring it back, or sometimes they'll give you a store credit card. Now, I know that HD just changed their "Return without proof of purchase" in that if you don't have the receipt or the credit card you bought it with, they are not issuing store credit for the items any more. However, that is for a return. Since this is an exchange, they may still do just that.
    Time saving tip: When I have a tool that is broken, I typically walk in with the broken one, go get the new one and then I go to the customer service line/desk.
    Now, I don't have any Husky tools that came in a kit/set like say those picks. However I do have one of their 8 in one screw drivers that I recently exchanged because the handle broke. It is sold separately, so it was an easy ordeal. (Same with Milwaukee tape measures).

    So for the lifetime warranty it just really depends, I think standard protocol is that after 90 days you actually go through the Husky hotline which should be on their website or on the back and just get in touch with them and they warranty it. However if you get a cool manager they’ll just tell you to go grab another one. And as far as Husky tool quality I’ve had great luck with their tools over the last 15 years, no broken sockets. Just one ratcheting wrench that locked up and a pair of pliers that would never break in and they just had me swap them out

      @@KompleteTechCrew I haven’t had a problem yet with them. I bought 300+ piece mechanics tool set on clearance over a year ago on clearance for dirt cheap as well as some ratcheting wrenches, and slip joint pliers. So far so good. Also I’m a tekton fan as well for their impact sockets 🙌. I would also say if u want a cheap set of shallow beater impact sockets try out the makitas at Home Depot. They have been pretty solid and work for the money. I believe Vince at vcg construction even demoed them and used the 21 mm to bust the lugs on his truck tires to rotate them. For mid to light duty fastners they are solid in my opinion.

They are Limited to the original purchaser. Husky is not, and is set to the lifetime of the tool (and manufacturer) lifetime. This is where reading the small print comes in handy.
