This was an extremely well-made fan film! My only real gripe is The Punisher. The actor's portrayal was fine, but he himself did not resemble Frank at all. He was far too lean, and as everybody else has already pointed out, bald. I also didn't like how Elektra beat him so easily. That aside, impressive, guys. Very impressive.
Wow, thanks so much VeryMacabre, I'm really flattered by your comments and kind words! It's people like you that make all the effort we put in worthwhile. Glad you enjoyed, it and thanks for watching!
THIS JUST IN! We just found out that the legendary co-creator of The Punisher, Mr. Gerry Conway himself has seen No Mercy and he liked it. He even tweeted it out and sent us a "nice job" to boot. Mission Accomplished.
Hi remix4mula, We are fully aware of the No Mercy game that came out a few years back (and got pulled) but we still found that title very appropriate to our story so we went with it. As for the Elektra victory over Frank, I'm sure fan opinions will vary, but in our view Frank could not take Elektra in that fight unless he was completely ruthless or out for murder (which he wasn't). Thanks for watching!
Haven't seen this in years, hate to see what kind of childish response I gave. This was everything it needed to be, acting on point, characters true to the comics, camera work is engaging and the action is pure entertainment.
WOW was this good. Great acting, which you can't say about many fan films, great action, brutality galore as one expects from the Punisher, and overall a wonderful way to spend 15 minutes. VERY, VERY well done guys. Proud to have this as the newest addition of my list of over 50 independent/fan made films and webshows.
I'm a big Punisher fan and your film was top notch. The line about 'the first ones free, the rest I have to pay for' was excellent. I've been wanting to see a really good Punisher film and now I have. Thank you!
Thank you, Allan. While the goal was to entertain everyone, receiving praise from a Punisher scholar makes us very proud of our efforts. Glad you enjoyed it.
This was better than some movies I've paid to see in the past. Kudos to all who took part. Good Choreography on the fight scenes and gunplay. Characters were true to form. Not sure Elektra would break Frank down that badly but she is a world class assassin so I'll let it go.... Great fun!
Wow! Great fan made film here. Great Punisher action & Elektra is like an icing on the cake. But the actor who played Frank looked like Bullseye! I'm not saying bad acting, he just reminded me of Alex Maleev' Bullseye.
For the acting or script alone, I would say this is the best fan-film I have seen thus far, but everything else just totally stole the show, so bravo, my friends. I hope you all move on to other great projects. GREAT JOB! OH MY GOD!
I really liked this, however I found the fight between Castle and Elektra to be...lacking in some way, I dunno, it would have worked better if the fight was a bit closer to how it's done in Jason Arron's run on Punisher Max in which Castle uses much cheaper moves to combat Elektra's finesse. Still, awesome fan film, you guys have made something to be extremely proud of. Hope to see more.
The very fact that our project is being compared to Dirty Laundry is a huge compliment seeing as how we did not have a fraction of their resources or major Hollywood connections. Thank you for watching and taking the time to share your views.
Thank you so much for your enthusiasm and support, we are in talks to work on another fan film in the coming year but right now everything is very preliminary. We really appreciate your offer to support us with a financial contribution but we cannot accept money under any circumstances due to the fact that we are not the license holders of The Punisher franchise. The easiest way to back us is to spread No Mercy to your friends and to keep an eye out for our future projects. Cheers!
wow this was a good fan film, ive been a big punisher fan for 13 years...made me join the marines since frank was in the corps...i can't wait for the next one! keep it up gents and semper fi!
Great use of the quote from Welcome Back, Frank. Took a while to get used to a bald headed version of Punisher, but I'm glad I finished watching. Definitely one of the best fan films I've seen in a while. Did Castle some justice!
Great fan effort. Really enjoyed it. Can't believe studio's can't get The Punisher right, but fans seem to nail it. I really hope They consider turning Punisher into a cable tv show. Anti hero like Dexter, but with guns. Who wouldn't want to see that?
That was badass. Have to disagree with those complaining about the Elektra scene. They both work in the underworld living by their own rules so they are bound to have to interact with each other. It would be cool to see Frank Castle team up with the Black Widow against a squad of enemies too. Look forward to seeing more from you guys.
I liked this better than the NetFlix show. You do the best job on TH-cam of accurately portraying the character. Great choreography to. The actress who played Elektra rocked. I hope you make another movie!
Thanks Dalia! We are always glad to hear from the female fans as PNM put a lot of thinking into making Elektra a grounded, physical character rather than simply a sexy ninja (which she is!). As for it becoming a series, well, we'll let the fans tell us how badly they want it ;)
really solid, u know the limits of ur budget and for the most part u don't over step them. Acting is decent (especially Castle) and the choreography is too, little bit toothless but thats expected in fan films. I'd say the best feature is the script though, really nailed the feel of punisher
We knew going in that Shawn would be a potentially controversial casting choice for some fans, but you have only to watch and listen to him on screen to realize that he climbed into the role 200%, with a visceral dedication that many other actors, some of whom were physically nearly identical to the drawn Frank Castle, did not manage to nail down. Shawn lives and breathes Punisher and we strongly believe that this is clearly visible/audible in his portrayal. Thank you for your support!
Thank you very much, Thanxe, we always love to get constructive feedback from our audience and your comments certainly qualify. As mentioned previously, we did have the option of going with a more signature type to play Frank but Shawn was just so absolutely there that it was the right decision for the film, and we stand by it all the way. Ray Stevenson and Tom Jane (and dare we say Dolph Lundgren?) were all really great casting choices as well.
Huge compliment, goddimmus, we never set out to compete with the big budget films, we just wanted to tell a Punisher story that we felt was authentic and worked really hard to show the fans a good time. Thanks!
His love of the role comes through clear in his almost purely physical acting. I really can't understate how blown away I was by how he internalized Castle's body language. He's beyond gifted, beyond.
This was excellent. Love the "First one's a freebie" quote from the Ennis comics. Beautiful. And your lead actor's voice-over was very reminiscent of Tom Jane's portrayal of Frank, which I loved in the first place. Haha. Full marks from me, guys. Thanks so much for bringing us this!
Amber is certainly a force to be reckoned with on every level, she practically IS Elektra (apart from the pesky killing of people for hire). A wonderfully talented young lady with soul, wit and she can kick serious ass as you can see. Thank you for your support!
Thank you very much for the kind words, Erik. We couldn't be happier with your reaction. We wanted to do right by fans as much as humanly possible especially as we are diehards ourselves. Cheers!
Brilliant all round, excellent casting, good acting, cinematography was spot on, screw the haters. The bald thing? - irrelevant IMO, if you really have to justify it, who's to say Castle couldn't or wouldn't change his look from time to time, especially considering the amount of time he spends undercover staking out targets? As to him not looking tough enough - I've personally known two 'Nam vets. 3 tours apiece, 5' 8" and 5' 9", USMC and Rangers, both no more than 180 pounds wet, two of the toughest guys I've ever met - either of them could kick most regular people ass with ease even in their late 40's. Puts the official films to shame, great job guys.
Been collecting Punisher since 1988. Great flick. My favorite part is how true to character it was that Elecktra threw a knife at Frank and was surprised that tried to shoot her immediately. True to Elektra, used to easy prey. True to Frank, used to scorched earth. Great choice in actor for Frank. Respectfully, a few recommendations: 1.)Aesthetically, i'd recommend a slab of hair across just the top of his head, reminiscent to some of the 90s issues where his hair was SEVERE Marine: shaved completely on the sides, with a short bur cut on the top. That would get audience members on board immediately without having to win them over with his terrific acting. 2.)Also, while it looks Hollywood cool, Frank uses semi-auto shotguns more than pump...they're just faster reloads in close quarters. 3.)Main bad guy is onscreen for so short a time, you need to use screentime to flesh out his background: a)higher status car - maybe rent a blacked out mercedes b.)collar was too floppy and suit needed a more tailored, italian look. Perhaps get a bespoke suit (pricey) or switch to black turtleneck. (less pricey) c.)belt buck has too much metal - image consultants say the less metal you have on your belt, the more expensive it is. d.)bodyguards should establish perimeter around the car before letting the boss out...maybe even have blacked out Surburban arrive first, and have the bodyguards establish perimeter before boss's car even arrives. these are non-verbal cues that tells me right away that this guy is the Big Man. Please dont take this as criticism: i loved the movie, everyone did a great job. I was especially impressed at the backwards fall of the doorman/sniper victim AND the girls who spoke a Baltic language - nice touch - shows me this might be Russian mob, without having to say anything.
the narration for the voice...perfect. i mean the dude should do the punisher to make it almost as good as thomas jane. if only there is a video game in the future. instead of just banning stuff
I'm a huge punisher fan, just wanted to say I really enjoyed this. Its hard to like some fan films, since they lack in different departments. You guys did a great job tho. I recognize a few lines from the Garth Ennis/ Steve Dillon books, witch are some of my favorites. I was a little weary about the bald head, but damn it, his vocal performance was almost perfect. Once again, great job guys, you've made this fan happy.
Commentary is spot on well done first fight scene is dodgy, the feel and pace of the movie is very well done. There is a Dexter feel in terms of the commentary, the writers got the feel of character spot on, make another movie this time the King-Pin is involved and Microchip. Well done!
This was a pretty epic fan film. I can let the character's look slide, does he look just like Frank Castle no..but they way he talks the way the character acts is spot on. It's even harder to judge it unfairly especially where their is a Punisher fan film with Tom Jane the actual punisher out and around now. But anyway good work guys i loved it.
Hi Nes, yeah we want to make it longer too! If we manage to spread the word enough and blow No Mercy's views into the sky it would up the chances of a sequel considerably. Thanks for watching!
Not really a fan of "young" Castle but the actor did an excellent job of channeling the characters grit. Elektra was motherfucking on POINT too. Way better than any of the Hollywood stuff. Good job. Liked, shared, recommended!
Thank you! Everyone on this team worked really hard to bring about PNM and to take it to another level within the scope of the growing fan film community. There was never any question of making money or selling this project for obvious reasons; the goal from day one was to make something out of nothing and pay homage to an awesome comic book character.
Hi diddymuck, although this was technically the first Kombat Krew/J. Ambrus joint, there is another really fun short by the Krew called Mountain Kombat that you can easily find under Shawn Baichoo's youtube channel. Thanks for watching!
Nice fan video, you made it realistic with the white, white glossy white cocaine eyes like it's real stuff in these mafia actors. The Punisher not being able to die or be caught by the police can be explained by time travel. These mafia thugs get into governments in the future that have time travel and they come back in time to make crime rings but Frank Castle has lived this life all the way through and they try to kill him or catch him and put him in jail but since he never did one day in jail and lived to an old age of dying naturally he can't be killed or jailed it's just the mechanics of time ticking from the past, you can't change the past but he person you try to kill comes off as an immortal badass. The prophecies of the future used to be chiseled into rocks, then wrote onto scrolls with quill pen and ink, then played out on Shakespear's Plays on stage, not they come out on movie screenwrites and dvd's. Google CIA Cocaine Trafficking 1980's Nicaragua and we all know that's where the cocaine comes from in the U.S. to make this more real.
This is the absolute BEST Punisher fan film I've EVER seen, hands down! One look at this beautifully-made piece of work, & you would definitely think it was a production from Hollywood itself! WRONG! It was made by fans FOR the fans, & I need to give my sincerest thanks to the entire cast/crew for putting this masterpiece together for a hard-hitting, action-packed & overall fun romp that absolutely deserves its highest praise, most especially to Shawn Baichoo (the Punisher), Amber Goldfarb (Elektra), James Malloch (Dominic Duran), Giancarlo Caltabiano (Vinny Rizzo), & to the director J. Ambrus! Great job, everyone! Plus, I hope that Dolph Lundgren, Thomas Jane, Ray Stevenson & Jon Bernthal all get a chance to see this wonderfully-done film themselves!
This was amazing! Best fan film I've ever seen! Yeah it's a shame the actor was bald, but oh well, everything else was perfect. He NAILED the voice. Stop getting so hung up on one detail, I know it's major but it's a none profit fan film guys cut them some slack! Brilliant camera work, beautiful choreography. The only small issue with choreography was the actor clearly pulling his punches a little with the Electra actress, but no biggy. This short film was more true to punisher than any of the hollywood movies so far (bar the look of punisher of course). Sound was done well and nice editing. All the actors were convincing, which is uncommon for fan films so nice work on casting. Overall great job guys.
Well said. Frank's voice-over was dynamite with a side of semtex. Ditto on the pulled punches, and the hand to hand combat could be a little faster with tighter shots, but on the flip side, having the camera so close that fight scenes are a wash of body blurs (like most Hollywood flicks) is far worse, so kudos for tough choices. As a fan film, it doesn't get much better than this!
fuckin amazing. i liked it immediately when the credits rolled. who ever the 17 people are that dis liked it should have punisher sent after them. sharing on facebook now. you guys need as much exposure as the other fan film dirty laundry got.
lol "first thing they do is freeze, so the first one is a freebie"-straight from the comic "Welcome Back Frank", love it. love his voice and the dark style of this but wasn't digging the bald look. Idk I couldn't, call me closed minded, but I just cant see the Punisher going bald it just doesn't look right
I’ve been complaining about 04’s punisher and Netflix’s series… never seen these fan films yo! Wowsers!! This and dirty laundry! Top punisher films… daredevil season two, prison scene is dope too!!!!
So much fun to see. I've collected Punisher comics for 20 plus years. Love it when some one puts effort into a fan flick. Great work and added to my favorites list.
Thanks for your valuable insight, Adrian. With No Mercy we weren't adapting straight from the Max series but rather drawing inspiration from it, so we went with a scenario that both echoed some of that flavour while having its own signature feel.
This was an extremely well-made fan film! My only real gripe is The Punisher. The actor's portrayal was fine, but he himself did not resemble Frank at all. He was far too lean, and as everybody else has already pointed out, bald. I also didn't like how Elektra beat him so easily.

This is the best Punisher fan flim ever made ,please do a sequel
THIS JUST IN! We just found out that the legendary co-creator of The Punisher, Mr. Gerry Conway himself has seen No Mercy and he liked it. He even tweeted it out and sent us a "nice job" to boot. Mission Accomplished.
Congrats! Dig your film!
How did you get Shawn Baicoo to do a fan film?
Beef jerky.
Bitch would be dead before she even open her mouth.
He THREATENS Frank? Dafuq is this shit.
Dude this shit is trash 🗑. He needs a high and tight and a better build and
So just out of curiosity, who would like to see more?
I'd love to see more! Punisher needs more media whether it be official or fan made!
Not a bad fan film yeah I wouldn’t mind seeing more from this little film
Definitely
Do punisher vs bullseye on the next fan film
Please do!
For a fan made film it’s pretty good the guy that plays the punisher sounds like the voice actor for the punisher video game
Hi remix4mula, We are fully aware of the No Mercy game that came out a few years back (and got pulled) but we still found that title very appropriate to our story so we went with it. Thank you, Allan. While the goal was to entertain everyone, receiving praise from a Punisher scholar makes us very proud of our efforts. Glad you enjoyed it.
way to go fellas,it's great to see PUNISHER come to life in fan films
This was better than some movies I've paid to see in the past. Kudos to all who took part. Good Choreography on the fight scenes and gunplay. Characters were true to form. Not sure Elektra would break Frank down that badly but she is a world class assassin so I'll let it go.... Great fun!
This was fabulous. I liked the Frank/Electra interaction as well.
Thanks for checking us out! Yeah, we'd love to do another one if the conditions are right.
Wow! Great fan made film here. Great Punisher action & Elektra is like an icing on the cake. But the actor who played Frank looked like Bullseye! I'm not saying bad acting, he just reminded me of Alex Maleev' Bullseye.

Wow, the Punisher was really good in this. Looked the part, acted the part, did a great job.
Hey thanks amigo, we're glad you enjoyed it. Do or die!
Great use of the quote from Welcome Back, Frank. Took a while to get used to a bald headed version of Punisher, but I'm glad I finished watching. Definitely one of the best fan films I've seen in a while. Did Castle some justice!
Well done!! Anymore films like this let us know.
EXCELLENT movie! Great job on the cast, and portraying Castle's utter ruthlessness. Make MOAR!!
it's like watching "HITMAN" becomes "PUNISHER" great choice ,both guys ROCK!
Great fan effort. Really enjoyed it. Can't believe studio's can't get The Punisher right, but fans seem to nail it. I really hope They consider turning Punisher into a cable tv show. Anti hero like Dexter, but with guns. Who wouldn't want to see that?

I liked this better than the NetFlix show. You do the best job on TH-cam of accurately portraying the character. Great choreography to. The actress who played Elektra rocked. I hope you make another movie!
Thank you so much. There's something stirring, I promise.
As a faithful punisher MAX fan. I can say confidently you guys know the punisher. You guys did him justice. I'll share your vid with all my friends.
This is very well done...decent acting.
Thank you for your support. This film belongs to the fans.
I'm only 10 minutes until this I just like to say that I love this and I hope to see more of this
We knew going in that Shawn would be a potentially controversial casting choice for some fans, but you have only to watch and listen to him on screen to realize that he climbed into the role 200%, with a visceral dedication that many other actors, some of whom were physically nearly identical to the drawn Frank Castle, did not manage to nail down. Shawn lives and breathes Punisher and we strongly believe that this is clearly visible/audible in his portrayal. Thank you for your support!
very well done loved Punisher's inner monologue, felt like Ennis
Thank you very much, Thanxe, we always love to get constructive feedback from our audience and your comments certainly qualify. Lol @ 11:00 fight scene..... wow that girl has some fight skills... said no one ever.
@12:10 did she throw a cardboard box at him? Hahahaha.
@12:46 the final blow. Girl in red gently places his head against the door.
Amber is certainly a force to be reckoned with on every level, she practically IS Elektra (apart from the pesky killing of people for hire). A wonderfully talented young lady with soul, wit and she can kick serious ass as you can see. Thank you for your support!
Muy buena producción. Muy profesional.
Good job . The punisher still lives

+Glenn Wallbridge Awesome!
Now this is just awesome!!!! Great work guys!!
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. Was this expensive to produce? The were INCREDIBLY CONVINCING.
You would be shocked at what we spent vs what we delivered. It was pure indie filmmaking savagery. Thanks!
Loved it,very well done.
Respectfully, a few recommendations:
1.)Aesthetically, i'd recommend a slab of hair across just the top of his head, reminiscent to some of the 90s issues where his hair was SEVERE Marine: shaved completely on the sides, with a short bur cut on the top. That would get audience members on board immediately without having to win them over with his terrific acting.

3.)Main bad guy is onscreen for so short a time, you need to use screentime to flesh out his background:
a)higher status car - maybe rent a blacked out mercedes
b.)collar was too floppy and suit needed a more tailored, italian look. Perhaps get a bespoke suit (pricey) or switch to black turtleneck. (less pricey)

A very touching message, thank you so much!
@@J_Ambrus It was well-earned & deserved, so thank YOU for this!
He doesn't look like Frank at all, but he sounds EXACTLY like the PS2 version of Punisher which I think is THE best Punisher voice. I'm here for it
Buen Canal De Acción, No Lo Conocía, Me Gusto Primera Vez Que Lo Veo Con La Familia, Gracias Y Felicitaciones...Abrazos Desde COLOMBIA......
This Very Good You Te, From This COLOMBIA..
GREAT Job, hair or no hair! Good suprise Guest superhero too!
Pretty cool for a fan fic. Interesting take on Frank Castle having a shaved head, makes some sense to me with him being a vet and all.
Thumbs up if u want a badass Punisher game on next gen.
its so ironic that the guy who plays Punisher looks like Bullseye.
DareDevil's (movie) Colin Farrell?
Best Punisher fan movie EVER! I'm going to review it in Punisher Central and publish on my Punisher HQ FB page... Really great work!
Great job! if I saw this on Netflix I would believe they made it it’s so good
fuckin amazing. i liked it immediately when the credits rolled. who ever the 17 people are that dis liked it should have punisher sent after them. sharing on facebook now. you guys need as much exposure as the other fan film dirty laundry got.
lol "first thing they do is freeze, so the first one is a freebie"-straight from the comic "Welcome Back Frank", love it. love his voice and the dark style of this but wasn't digging the bald look. Idk I couldn't, call me closed minded, but I just cant see the Punisher going bald it just doesn't look right
Loved the short film it was very massively excellent
Great job!!! Amazing in fact. I thought the bald look made punisher even cooler, Elektra was hot as hell, good fight scene too
Outstanding work, guys. Really and truly.
Great work guys! Epic Fanfilm!
This was an awesome short film. *sniff* *sniff* I think I smell a sequel?
Time will tell. Thank you for watching!
Damn! This is great! This felt like a solo PunisherMAX issue. Amazing work!
This is so good! I don't know what all the dissent is about... Very well made and true to the source!
thats the cleanest punisher shirt i seen
Wow, Chris, that really means a lot coming from a long-time diehard fan. It was our absolute pleasure to entertain you. Thank you!
I’ve been complaining about 04’s punisher and Netflix’s series… never seen these fan films yo! Wowsers!! This and dirty laundry! Top punisher films… daredevil season two, prison scene is dope too!!!!
Yall should make some more of these punisher shorts and add more marvel vigilantes
Castle without hair? No way.
Congratulations on 1M views!! 👏🏼
The Punisher is not bald only problem I had with this movie other then that nicely done.
So much fun to see. I've collected Punisher comics for 20 plus years. Love it when some one puts effort into a fan flick. Great work and added to my favorites list.
OMG! How come this comes to my recom so late. I Love It. Great Job!!!
Thanks for your valuable insight, Adrian. With No Mercy we weren't adapting straight from the Max series but rather drawing inspiration from it, so we went with a scenario that both echoed some of that flavour while having its own signature feel.
Very nice 👏
Glad that this labor of love is finally out! Amazing job guys!
Excellent transposition.
Thanks!
