I just bought this battery and starting to install it. Your video is very helpful, thank you! What size of hole saw did you use to drill the hole in the dash for the power button? (And I assume you just squeeze the sides of the mechanism to release the button itself for inserting in the hole?)
I can get everything to work except it won’t move forward or reverse. Also somehow now the ignition key doesn’t work. All I have to do is push the button!
@@craigc7493 not sure i understand. If your cart is ezgo, make sure the blue wire from the charger port is installed on the positive battery terminal. this is the reed switch. "reed switch on a golf cart is an electrical switch that controls the flow of electricity by opening and closing contacts when a magnetic field is present: "
Yes. To clarify to date, 2019 EZGO TXT has the single Epoch 48V 105Ah installed. Forward/Neutral/Reverse doesn’t work when applying the gas pedal and no warning sound when in reverse. I have power to the ignition, reed switch is bypassed to the positive of the battery terminal. Solenoid has power. Not in tow mode. Battery charges fine when plugged in, communications port installed and works fine. Any suggestions why it will not go? Thanks in advance! Craig
@@soihitit thank you for your comment. The golf cart belongs to a winery and they use it 8 to 10 hours per day on a single charge. I do not have an idea of mileage
Thank you for the video. Took me a couple of days to find a video showing harness connection.

Got it all to work. Thank you!
Awesome video, any updates and thoughts? What kind of run time are you getting?

I installed that battery and does the power button and gauge supposed to stay lit all the time?
@@ericrobinson5442 actually, we power off the battery at night. Battery will charge with button off if charger is plugged in
