Now, I actually quite enjoyed the book due to its fast pace, characters, and creativity, but the movie was a very inept adaptation of a difficult story, and that's why it received the hate it did.

One of my fav close to heart movies ever. I still remember i've watched and enjoyed this alone in theatre when my friends not interested to watch this they chose to local language movie instead, later regretted thou, before i watching this movie, to understand i've played PS2 game of this to encrypt secret unlocks it was even more thrilled. Also kudos to director, and legend Tom Hanks, the face of this movie, wow i never forget this, love from CH, India.

That Langdon presentation was very similar to how my experience at university was. Having talked to others and been in the workforce for some time now, I now see why some hated college and why others adored it. College truly should be like this initial lecture. But depending on the school, faculty and collation (which then makes up the atmosphere and the student body)…idk if you would have the same experience.
