Leo. Aurora is a faerie living in the Norwegian forests. She grew up in the woods. No television just her woods to play in. She has a wonderful history which you will find inthralling. If you want to find out who she is watch the HAIK documentary. If you want to react to it we will be with you even though her followers have see it dozens of times. She is 10 years older than Angelina. Both are very similar In many ways.
Hi I'm a 63 year old warrior who fell in love with aurora 4 years ago,now where do you start with this song,first this is not your run of the mill love song with all the same old cliques that's not auroras style when writing she wants to make you think deeply about the content it's what makes her a wonderful songwriter she draws you in from every angle to see different things.even her production of her videos speak to you if your willing to look deeply into them,she cares so much about the art of music and is so genuine towards all that she dose and cares deeply about her fans for her they have made her dream come true.for me this song goes beyond her love of one person,she is reaching out to us all and saying look I've come out of my shell I'm free I'm home I exist for love and want you all to experience what I am feeling,she can't imagine anyone not being able to feel what she now fells.she's telling us how much she loves each and everyone of us,she tells us at the end of the song I love you I love you,we to can exist for love, now i may be totally wrong and you may see something else and that's wonderful as well because that's what great songwriters do they make you see different things that's the genius of aurora,it's what sets her apart and I love her for that,stay safe warriors.let love conquer your mind.❤️🍏❤️🍏

This song are both typical Aurora, and NOT typical. Typical: Aurora is a loving person, and want to spread light ..
Not typical: this is her only LOVE SONG, and a song that may not bee as deep as many of her songs... but that is also the point, she think that in these dark times we needed a PURE "light song".

PLEASE listen to her sing Through the Eyes of a Child live at Nidarosdomen!!!! It is absolutely exquisite! And then Aurora and Wardruna performing Helvegen live at at Bergenhus Fortress for something so different! Her hands talk and paint pictures... she is enchanting and shines so much light! You should also listen to the other version of this too..
Another beautiful choice Leo, after Angelina, Aurora is another of the wonderful young Norwegian singers, the two of them have very different characters and expressive modalities and with little age difference, Angelina shy and reserved and Aurora lively and expressive, but both extremely authentic and natural, they are able to touch the listener's soul very effectively 🤗 ❤️

I was a person with very hard shells that no artist could break through. Somehow she did.
Probably because of what this girl has been through in life. Losing loved ones, and friends. Some in very tragic ways like in the Norway terrorist attacks. Then friends in car accidents after that.
Although she does talk about darker times in her life in a few interviews, her ability to still remain who she is and to allow herself to heal is real inspiration for many people.

I'm here because I follow your Angelina videos. These two should meet!!! I feel they think and feel quite alike. Aurora is super open and talkative while. Angelina is kind of demure and introverted. And of course Angelina is exactly 10 years younger! But both are concerned by similar issues happening in the world, enjoy similar things, etc. Perhaps it is the way children are raised in Norway.

You will still have a lot of fun with this lady for real.The sound is much better in her other uploads. Unlike Angelina, she talks a lot. So funny stuff. You asked about it, yes there are more in Norway. Of course, all the jazzists who cooperated with Angelina are impressive. Then I also remember Sigrid, who is a friend of Aurora. And I also have to say that in my opinion Aurora's incredible style was anticipated in a way by Joni Mitchell , who is unfortunately not doing so well at the moment, 1970 in her song "Woodstock".
I think you have almost instantly understood Aurora... as much as understanding someone (especially her ^^) is possible.
You seem to have understood what she wants to transmit, the gift she offers to all of us.

You did a very special approaching to Aurora, never saw anybody else doing same. I really like it and enjoy it very much even when I feel a bit to much stopping but maybe best way to do so. I believe Auro is learning and creating only with emotion. Many many of her interviews you can see how she is into it with her emotion. She is many times not thinking (Free mindet) she scan the feeling and than answer. But , and thats shows the lyrics very good, she is also a genius when it comes to express with words. She is very talented and know the way to get her emotion out in the world but she never asking for anything in return, what makes her even more likely. Just a bit how I get the impression from her. For your way of approaching maybe a good way is the Haik documentary, a special day to honor her at her hometown. Wonderfull and she had a day with surprises. Best way ever to understand her way of handle herselfe and others. Or other streaming, last one just couple days ago and was wonderfull with one of her best songs ever, souless creatures what is a masterpiece for me. It just dont leave my head.

I loved your reaction. It was probably the best that I have seen. I could see how you were not only "getting" but being transformed by Aurora. She just is so special that, I was also transformed when I watched and listened to her. She is incredible and there is absolutely no one like her. She is from Norway...like AJ (another favorite), but Aurora is also so different. Aurora didn't hone her skills since she was 6 or 7, she played in the forest. She seemed to be somewhat of a loner since she didn't seem to be able to connect with kids in school too well. They said that she was nice but "different". Aurora started writing music at 6yrs old. She started putting lyrics to them when she became profficient in English. She wanted to be a writer. She had no intention of being a performer..singer....she didn't even like her voice. She didn't like school either *and has said that she still doesn't like school*. She was given an assignment in school to write a paper, which she didn't do, so she wrote a song. When she got to school to hand in her paper she told them it was a song. So they asked her to sing it and she did. One of the kids recorded it and put it on some social media platform where a couple of producers saw it and contacted her. They wanted to meet her and work with her.
*I do know what paragraphs are, I just have trouble using them lately* She said "no" that she really didn't want to be a performer.....she was talking to her mother. (her parents didn't even know about her writting songs until she was 13 or 14 yrs old) A very different journey than AJ. Her mother responded by saying that she should give it a try and "share" her music with others. If she didn't like it, she could always quit......
Her 1st released song went viral as did ...I believe, her 2nd song. "Runnaway" was written when she was 11yrs old.....she kept working on it for a few years though. I cannot imagine an 11 yr old writting lyrics like that. "Running with the Wolves" was another viral for her.
Aurora is different, most genius's are. Not only does she write...some say she has 1000 songs/poems written. She plays instruments, She did take interpretive dance from the age of 6. She taught herself to play piano on an old keyboard that she found in the attic. She had to learn with one hand because the "on" switch had to be held down for it to work. Her home was pretty much in a large forest and that is where she spent all of her free time. Sometimes they would have to go out looking for her to come home. She is 5'3 and really delicate looking but don't let that fool you. She won't let herself be pushed into anything that isn't true to her. She has say over every aspect of her career. **Everyone will say to basically "watch her live" performances." I agree that they are phenomenal but her videos have been called works of "art". I love watching them too. You'll also notice that you will see her sing/perform her songs just a little differently each time.
Like I said earlier....no one can touch Aurora. Her writting of all of her music, lyrics, performances *she is a natural and so engaging, producing, and putting / having a say on what songs go onto her ...I think "5" successful albums, her live performances....all of it get's Aurora's attention. One last thing is that she does really entertaining interviews. So spontaneous, honest, engaged..yet totally aware of everything around her....

And instead of jumping into her songs, I thought I would try to get to know something about her first. And, coincidentally, Aurora had just started streaming personal videos, and I thought that was perfect timing. Those videos didn't really change me, but they did and still do bring a big smile to my face. The "getting to know Aurora" videos are in my Aurora playlist, in case you are interested.
That is so cool you are reacting to Aurora now, she and her songs are genius on so many levels, and she sings with so much feeling like Angelina. If something sounds familiar in this song, she put a couple of Leonard Cohen references in here, the line 'we will lean for love forever', she sings just like 'they will lean that way forever' in Cohen's Suzanne, and 'There is a war between the man and the woman' borrowed from Cohen's 'There is a War'.
Yes, she was very influenced by Leonard Cohen. In her song "It happened Quiet," she references Cohen's rendition of "The Partisan" in her line about returning from the shadows.

Good choice. Out of the box! She have done some very good performance of this song. I should listen to Mr. Henning Mathiassens suggest this three song is the best. But you should also dig deep in her performances these are always good. Angelina and Dimash is great singer but i am not interested in them. And i Love her Quirkyness.

You have discovered another Norwegian diamond. She is a prolific songwriter - about two dozen at present - and each one is about the condition of human existence. Her singing has been described as "other worldly" In my opinion, she, together with Angelina Jordan and Greta Thunberg are a force which will change the world.

You mention you like this particular video because you see her raw, and she isn't putting on a front. Believe me, Aurora never "acts" As with Angelina, what you see is the "real" person.
