I use NU32 for metal detecting around the beach.. and that NU35 can run simultaneously with powerbank.. so basically it have 3 power option ! That's a great innovation there

Yeah, Hiker J missed the 3rd battery source. I have one of these and I love it.

The "yellow light" is not just yellow. It's high CRI and my eyes love the natural colors it helps me see.

I wanted a rechargeable, USB-C, red light, waterproof headlamp. That one is perfect. Am I right?

Not a pine tree. Spruce. Glad you don't have to live off the land.
This model of nitecore will also run off a power bank with a usb cord giving you 3 power sources.

Nice review, but completely missed a major point that this lamp has a white light beam in a flood beam, not a spotlight. If you need something for longer distance, look elsewhere. This is a very good worklamp for general close-up work.

Is it Cool White or Natural White for the main light?

its only for work on something on arm length distance.. everything else is useless.. not for running. so it's important to mention that basic thing

Just got one. The strap was not attached. How do you put it on. There are no instructions included in how to do this.

Is ist possible to turn the light off (from low red light) without klicking to the other red lights first?

compare size and weight of 2 AA vs 3 AAA. If you want more autonomy, go directly to 18650 battery headlights.

Why didn’t they just make the recharable battery larger? Haha. This is a silly design but I guess if the rechargeable battery fails it’ll still function.

I don't agree. I think you get the best of both worlds. I believe this may also the reason the removable batteries [I would use hybrid, not disposable] are drained first. Years down the trail when the rechargeable has lost its efficiency, if you insert the removable batteries, it will go to them first rather than the built-in battery which may no longer be functioning very well. Similarly, if you keep this in your bag and it has run down in the months before you use it, just insert some long shelf life batteries.
If you want to use the rechargeable all the time, just keep the replaceable batteries in a container and use the rechargeable. If it runs down just plug it into a powerbank or add the replaceable batteries.
I also like the white and red LEDs are on separate switches. The only sensible way to do it as far as I'm concerned.
Thanks for the review Hiker J.
