They looked like the Bruins we know. But, it was against the islanders and our next game is against the Habs. Both teams are bad. They need to play like this against a top tier team to really see if they can compete against the best of the best. That’s just my opinion.
The turning point is guys are hustling and digging and consequently winning puck battles. This translates to more O time rather than blocking shots like a wack-a-mole. Can’t score while on D. I think they dominated Vancouver and just couldn’t covert. It happens. Same style of play with NY, but pucks found a home. That’s hockey. Take away is if Joe holds their stick on the ice (aka, hockey basics), we will get into the playoffs. Then heart and health take over. They have the talent. That’s the path.
Doesn’t it seem like it was a matter of time before this snake bitten spell wore off? I’m optimistic it gets contagious and the Bruins will score! It’s fun to see improvement.
. Played good against Vancouver and didn't get rewarded but they bounced back in this one. Great to see Marchand,Zachary and Geekie get on the scoreboard. Need to find a way to get Pasta a few goals.and then I think if they keep working hard like the last 2 they will turn it around for the remainder of the season
@@bruinsdiehards Don't get me wrong, I did too. It's just that the previous night they couldn't score and the very next they get 6? Don't recall if they have that many goals in a game going back to last season.
the zacha, pasta, geeks line has been really going since they were put together. they might not show on the scoresheet but they are creating. it was funny jaff was saying wouldnt it be cool to talk about a 10 goal game during pregame. they score 9. lol. we need sophia back.
@@bruinsdiehards I don't think very much. Big Lou just wants something in return. Thats why he signed him in the off season in lieu of just cutting him. He was a very highly touted first round pick. Not sure if you remember his Spin-O-Rama Mini One on One performance when he was like 10 years old.
I guess I am confused by Tyler Johnson. Why's he in the lineup? Are they managing everyone's minutes on back to backs? These last minute goals can break a team's back. Luckily, they did not last night. Happy Thanksgiving!
@@bruinsdiehards Even the best defensive teams have a weakness. It's a question of esposing that weakness. Once exposed, opposing teams can see it and exploit that weakness and take advantage of it. That's my point.
Aswesome Bruins won - I missed the damn game... looking into the stats I see one worrying trend...Pasta limited to one shot on net. I think the gameplan for all teams is cover Pasta and you stop the Bruins cold. It is a definite sign we need some help taking the coverage off of him. I mean.. yeah we won but I see his shots always really low this year when he used to be a shot machine.
They haven’t played a hardball team yet. They’re still not there yet. As for the playoffs I’m still on the fence. Happy for Marchand he really needed the goals.
What was your highlight from last nights game?
zacha two quick ones. marchand getting two quick ones.
@ was huge for them. Marchand scoring early set the pace and let them know they can score I think
Zadorovs goal, it was a nice little treat
It was a Festivus miracle.
So who are you airing out your grievances to?
@@bruinsdiehards Festivus for the rest of us.
@ serenity now!!!
They played pretty damn well against Vancouver but most "experts" fluffed over that as if they didn`t.
I thought they should of won that game but had no puck luck
honestly still think they shoulda won that game.
@ agreed
Gotta see Poitras back in the lineup!!
Good win tonight though, great pressure, great net front presence
Hard fought road win for the boys and another gem of a video! I really enjoy your channel, Diehard. Go B's!
Thank you so much. It was a great win
I saw some nice off-hand winger goals from Geekie, Marchy, and Zacha. The most productive 3rd period they've had all year and it's not even close.
Yup
Glad we won, but i could feel the WTf energy from the islanders fans though the tv set......turns out were not the only team struggling!
Yeah they looked good in the second but couldn’t generate anything in the third. No Barzal is hurting them
@@bruinsdiehards yeah when they tied it up i mumbled "oh here we go" lol but i see what your saying. Kinda glad we didnt get horvat.

@ they need to win and worry about the rest later for now against every team I think
@ yeah that looks like an overpay now

Yes it been nice to see them improve game after game since Sacco took over
They've looked a lot faster under Sacco
Sure. More structured I find
@@bruinsdiehardsthey looked like a hockey team, they worked hard together instead of only individual efforts

Sorry autocorrect got me. Zacha
All good
Even the Blackhawks scored 6 goals last night. And vs Dallas.
Crazy pants game that was
....baby steps? or leaps? Night and day from the canucks game .I see a trend happening here, and I like it.
I thought they played very well in the Canucks game

Winning fixes everything

My issue with Geekie is he isn’t a top six player though.
@@bruinsdiehards yeah. they have a bunch playing out of their "league". Lysell has been getting on the scoresheet. would love to see him...one day.
@ yup he had a good game last night too
Couple bad giveaways but overall this was the best looking game all season by a lot
You’re always going to have giveaways
I agree. Soft passes and passes to no one. Cost 2 goals. Glad they finally found the net. I actually thought they played better against Vancouver.
Walstrum would make a good Bruin. He is a square peg on the Islanders.
What do you think he would cost?

Yeah he didn’t impress me either but I think the only option so far has been Merkulov
Could there be the possibility the Bruins exposed the Islanders defence in Wednesday night's game?
Anything is possible

Quick…Wake up the goal judges🤣
Going to have to actually work, now😂
Have to keep the Boston Bakery’s closed, all game…No More Turnovers…

Pasta is still averaging the second most shots per game right now in the league. He also got three assists. I would like him to shoot more I agree
@ yeah some teams just cannot suppress him enough. But another forward (like deBrusk) may not score but forces some attention away from him.
would Pavel/Potsy/Pasta ever make sense?
They need to call him up first but it’s worth a try

Ok but I’m sure we would be upset if they lost last night too
I didnt even care about the win, i wanted Marchand to get the hatty. And that bench was warmed with that 64 million dollar @sss.
Would of been a nice hatty
Ticked that Big Z took the hat trick from Marchy or Zacha. Out the box like that.
I doubt think he did it purposely
