In this video we're show off lots of new updates to Super Realistic Mario Maker 2 based off the comments from the last video! Be sure to comment new ideas for the next video!
IDEAS! when Mario grows when he get's a shroom, his growth spurt makes him hurt a lot. Mario dies in castle levels because lava is SO hot even when he's not touching it. The ground pound turns into a cannon ball because you can't cancel your momentum IRL. The moon crashes down to earth exploding a lot a ground. when underwater night theme comes, that means he's very far down. so the water crushes him under the weight.
Idea: We have added veggies and candy! Eat more veggies to increase the timer, and eat candy to decrease your timer. Veggies slow you down from sadness because they are bland. It increases the timer though because it is healthy so you live longer. If you eat 10K total veggies in the game (Even if it takes 10K years), you unlock the salad which does the same thing as the veggies, but now you can wash the bowl when you are finished. Clean it to gain boredom which slows you down, but next time you do it, it doesn't take as long because you have learned a new skill. Candy, on the other hand, is unhealthy, but delicious, meaning the timer decreases faster, but you gain more speed from happiness. Play them game on Oct. 31 10:00 pm to get the Jack-o-lantern part. It works like a regular piece of candy, but then you can hold on to it and store some of your candy for later.

If Mario holds onto a vine for too long, it snaps and he falls with it. Once he falls, he'll be tangled up in the vine for a limited amount of time depending on the vine's size.
Here's an idea: If Mario crouches for too long, he gets a cramp and his legs and you need to wait 2 minutes for him to get up, and if you crouch walk too far, he'll crumple and will be unable to move for 7 minutes, by which time the level will probably be over.
Hoo boy, I've got like 45 of these ideas. Here they are. - You can stand on and behind background objects to fool enemies! - You phase right through certain semisolids, especially tree-related ones, since the canopy is too flimsy to support Mario's weight. - Certain enemies behave completely differently, such as the Koopa Clown Car being on wheels, or a Thwomp being carried through the sky by a team of Fly Guys. -- This could be hard to animate! - Tracks will break if they're forced to carry something through a wall, possibly catching on fire or even hurling the item at Mario. - Donut blocks won't regenerate and will fall faster, maybe even colliding with the floor. - The acid in the night-forest is SO toxic, it destroys the floor and causes Mario to wheeze. -- Lava will also act the same way, but it will eventually become solid due to lack of a heat source. It also looks slightly different, and can be stood on( it will act like Munchers!) - Power-ups move more slowly and take longer to eat. - Power Stars will instantly vaporize Mario due to them being literally made primarily out of fire, but if you _somehow_ acquire one and kill the Sun with it, the level will be at night. - Desert Night is more intense: the sandstorms are extremely cold, will effect enemies and even certain tiles( ?-blocks drift and pipes break off) too, and can even blind you. - "Effects" and the Soundfrog don't work the same way - Mario does not appear at night, he simply doesn't spawn. Neither does Luigi. But Toads are nocturnal! So you have to go into the game's settings every time the sun sets. -- There are 4 more playable characters to make up for this! This includes Yellow Toad, Wario, and Peach, and the never-before-seen Green Toad, because screw you Waluigi! --- The sub-area cannot be a different time-zone than the main level, but if it is, the character will not seem to care. - The editor interface is completely different - You can actually walk right around enemies and obstacles in the 3dw style, but be careful not to fall off! - POW blocks will damage your eardrums. - Mario has to wait a while for his eyes to adjust when exiting/entering a cave, haunted house, or water. -- He may also have to make his ears pop. Toad doesn't however. Another advantage for him! - Mario implodes if he's too deep in water! - Luigi will have less traction, but Toad will be able to pick up items more easily. Toadette can water good and can use Super Crowns. - The SMB2 shroom will damage spacetime itself when used and possibly cause things to explode --Mario cannot even pick up the White Sword, similarly to Thor's Hammer. --- Mario becomes much warmer after growing bigger, and colder after shrinking, due to how cells work. If you add these, you can crop some of them out if you want.

Now you can instantly fall through every platform that's a cloud, including the whole ground in sky levels! Lakitus and other objects can also no longer ride in clouds, for perfectly grounded, down to earth experience!
Flagpoles don’t just change when you slide down them, you gotta do all that effort with the rope and swapping out the flag (while following proper flag etiquette) and then only after all that is done, may you complete the level
1.Super Stars are bigger then the whole map and will instantly burn the entire level when started. 2. You can actually see Mario in the dark because as humans glow in the dark, but you need to use a certain type of camera used by scientist to see it and it's a very small circle of light around him because we can't see the glow with our normal eyes and it isn't useful. 3. Mecha Koopas need batteries to work so after a while, they stop working. 4. Lakitus fall out of their clouds and die, same with you if you try to enter one.
Due to the new addition of Newton’s third law, Mario can no longer perform shell jumps, pow/p-switch drops and ground-pound cancels. When attempting to perform a shell/pow/p-switch jump, Mario will now instead slip and spin uncontrollably. When attempting to perform a ground-pound, Mario will instead spin in the air with no change of momentum.
I've got a few suggestions: -Thwomps fall to the ground instantly, because let's be real, what block of stone can just float in the air? -Thwomps make holes in the ground when they fall like they would irl -Collecting mushrooms will do nothing, because if I ate a mushroom I wouldn't double my height. -Blocks can't float in the air unless you put a semisolid underneath it, which is pretty realistic -Driving in a car too fast will get you caught by the police. -You need to keep the flower foreground decorations hydrated or they will die -If you collect a balloon you will just float slowly to the ground until you hit a spike, then you pop -Propeller power-up does nothing because the propeller is too small. -You need to stay hydrated in deserts regularly or you will DIE. -Spike blocks and spike balls instantly kill you -If you try to kick a koopa shell you will just hit your toe. Brilliant rejected idea: New power up: "Guard Mario power up". How this works: After Mario collects this power up, the background will be automatically changed to train. After Mario collects that power up, all entities will vanished and Mario will automatically dressed as a train conductor. Almost all Mario enemies will turn innocent and won't attack (as a passenger), while koopas troopas are dispatchers at a station. Mario's mission: Mario must dispatch a train after given a clear signal from Bowser (as a signaller). Then the dispatcher will face to you, blow the whistle and raise its "clear" torch. After the dispatcher does all of that, Mario should close doors by pressing A button and whistle by pressing B button. Mario will automatically rejoin the train (I mean gets inside the train), Mario should close its local door and the train should blow its horn and automatically departs. This process will repeat 5 times until the final station. The delay max is 10 seconds. Punishment: If Mario is caught delaying the train more than 10 seconds, Mario will automatically die and demoted temporarily (I mean locked from that mode for 24 hours). If Mario already dispatched the train before the signaller gives the clear signal, Mario will automatically die and demoted temporarily (the locked duration has extended to 2 days). Extra info: to be able to know the signal is clear or not, signal UI will be visible next to Mario. Now I know you're saying that this process is complicated. But DannyB, please make it as simple as possible.
Ideas : making 5 deaths will give you a 1 day coma and you get kicked out for 24 hours. The sounds should be real life You can have infinite players is a level You need to use a age and if you pick a age that your in elementry - middle school you get locked out due to Mario going to school (he will be back at 2:00pm)
In multiplayer versus, if somebody carries you, they slow down because you're so heavy. You'll even crush them if you have a power-up and they're just Mini mario.
Here some ideas: You need to collect the "make level" materials to make your own levels (you have limited count) There is no intro in the game To choose the level, you need to go across them by playing them (you can't choose them easily anymore) You don't need to press "V" to go inside the pipe (every pipe is enterable)
-The SMB2 mushroom doesn't actually turn mario into anything, as it's just another hallucinogenic mushroom that makes him think he can ride on his enemies -The World builder mode technically would involve the shifting of tectonic plates on the planets surface, and basically cause volcanoes to erupt everywhere and make every world theme the lava one. -If you somehow get a 5-win streak in online versus mode, the firework effect on the new shirt you'd get would cause your miis entire body to burst in flames from all the fireworks.
2 Ideas:1. If you play at night, it will be night in the game but if you play in the day, it will also be day and if you play in afternoon, it will also be afternoon (kinda like animal crossing) 2.if the timer runs out, nothing happens.
A few ideas: Ice blocks simply melt when placed in hot themes, like desert or castle Bullet Bills travel at the speed of actual bullets Jumping on the bridge axe would be pretty painful, don't you think?
Every level should have a bed Idea: Mario needs to rest but he refuses to sleep and dies from a heart attack from staying up for way to long (depends on how long the level is) Short level (hallucinations) (medium) (small heart attack/Mario losses power up) (and long (will die if not going to bed) outcomes of Mario not sleeping
Suggestion 1: Mario lifts up to the top of the water level instead of to the bottom. Suggestion 2: When the moon is close, it will get bigger and destroy the level. Suggestion 3: At random points, the sky will turn gray and rain will come down making it harder for Mario to move.
Idea: aging the more you play as a character the weaker they become due to aging meaning their jumps are weak can’t run fast without the risk of pulling a muscle and after too much play time the character dies of old age and you can no longer play as them.
Realistic Mario Maker 2 Idea (Police): Every time you do something that could be considered REMOTELY Illegal like stealing a clown car or killing a random enemy, some enemies dressed up as cops will come after you. The more Illegal stuff you do, the more come after you and the faster they will be. Once they catch up to you, your character will be put in Jail and you can’t play as them temporarily. The more you get caught the longer you serve your sentence. Get caught one too many times and your locked out of Super Realistic Mario Maker 2. PERMANENTLY! Life has consequences.
Mario will be slow and jumping will hurt a lot for Mario, considering he's been a plumber for 40 years. Because of that, he also can't run. Same goes for Luigi and Toad, but not for Toadette because she was only a little girl back in 2003.
In the night time theme of the forest, instead of posion water, there are crazy floods and tsunamis everywhere since the moon is like 20 feet next to the water
Idea: In the castle level, the castle starts out normal for 5 seconds, but then after that, the entire levels starts burning everywhere and Mario catches on fire and then gets melted into a skeleton and dies
1. Mario won’t be able to breathe in a clear pipe since they are enclosed so he only has 10 seconds in a pipe before suffocating 2. Mario needs to drink water every once in a while to stay hydrated
Koopa troopa car works like a real car and it has speed limits,several seats,different types, and needs to have fuel and there will have to be a gas station for fuel.
Idea - In desert night theme: everytime when the sand storm comes mario rubs his eyes for 3 seconds. He won't be controllable until he is done.

When you play a night level for long enough, Mario will fall asleep due to the lack of sleep

Steping on a Koopaling’s spike in the place you normally hit them will injure Mario and show reaI blood.

Fire bars, burners and lava bubbles actually burn surfaces like wooden semisolides or cloud groud

Idea: The more hours you have on the game, the older the characters get. If they get too old they die.
That makes perfect sense. You would have to literally play for years in order for that to happen though.

Idea: Mario needs to rest but he refuses to sleep and dies from a heart attack from staying up for way to long (depends on how long the level is)

Suggestion 1: Mario lifts up to the top of the water level instead of to the bottom.

Idea: aging the more you play as a character the weaker they become due to aging meaning their jumps are weak can’t run fast without the risk of pulling a muscle and after too much play time the character dies of old age and you can no longer play as them.
Realistic Mario Maker 2 Idea (Police): Every time you do something that could be considered REMOTELY Illegal like stealing a clown car or killing a random enemy, some enemies dressed up as cops will come after you. In the Forest Night theme, When you die to Poison, there’s no Music When you die. But Instead, you sink all the way down.
Idea: in upside down levels, the whole level falls down due to life not working like that
Idea: In the castle level, the castle starts out normal for 5 seconds, but then after that, the entire levels starts burning everywhere and Mario catches on fire and then gets melted into a skeleton and dies
