@@GoldenYoshi1 eh it wouldn't be a bad idea, and to be fair these glitch deserve to be fixed anyway cause it just make the game less difficult to learn to play with. notice you can't see in which version of mario maker 2 the level was uploaded while playing in an endless challenge so you learn on the fly which techs can be encountered inside of it, or get caught unaware by one of them, it's the price to never make global patches and it is better that way.

The flagpole one isnt as much a glitch as a feature because when you reach the flag the time stops and items/certain enemies dissapear.
Toadette's eyes are the enemy of the people.
Actually I think it is a glitch because you dont reach the top of the flagpole in a catsuit because of the sideway thwomps being in the way, yet still going through you. The last part with the blaster is only to show that solid enemies always pass through you. I think thats the intention.
@@giannistek1 maybe, but if you think of the thwomps as of a wall its like getting stuck on (or more precisely in) the wall and not being able to continue climbing, still how it was shown in the vid it seemed like the player was supposed to die

Because, that's not a glitch at all. The Cat Suit regularly behaves like that when on the flagpole. If it _was_ a glitch, this would've already been patched because of how easy it is to spot in the game.

The level might be impossible, but so is uploading it. That's the same as simply making the goal unreachable in that sense. It still is an editor glitch though.

One of my worst fear is faceless people and Toadette is my favorite character. Having no eyes is half way of having no face and since it's put on my fav character, I have so many mix feelings about it. MAKE IT STOP!!!

3:42 This is due to the invisible block being non-collisional before you hit the bottom of the invisible block. So when you do hit it, it does still have some anti collision.Which causes this confusing is the system.So it just let's you through for a while then it finally checks if you have hitten the block, then it pushes you out.
I have never heard the term "anti-collision" or "having some anti-collision". I'm pretty sure blocks are programmed using states and collision is dependent on the state of the block. That's how I learned how to do it anyways.

How to make your little kid(s) have nightmares of Toadette:
1. Get a clip of eyeless toadette
2. edit it in this way:
2.1. Before Toadette does her victory animation, make the screen fade into black and the screen should be black for 4 seconds
2.2 after that, put a dark, scary filter and turn the volume up to max
2.3 Put blood specs to show were her eyes should be
2.4 Distort toadette's voice after the black to make it look more sinister
2.5 Put scary music in the scary section
3. show it to your kids and make them cry

2:04 in case someone is curious because the game slows down.
When a video game engine renders an object in 2D, it renders it above the one behind it, so that this information is in the same memory position, the more objects are in the same position, the slower the game will start to move. since you have to read more and more information located in the same area.
This does not happen in 3D games (or at least it is more difficult to happen) since in a 3D engine you can make objects that are not being rendered lower their quality or simply disappear.
+ the collision, gravity, draw code. Each muncher checks for collision of this muncher and that muncher etc.

I know there are thousands, upon thousands who sit and create levels and setups each day, learning new things every once in a while, but... c'mon, how in the heck did someone even come up with the ending-setup, triggering a graphical glitch, that only works for a quarter of the playable character roster?! 😲 Let-alone successfully recreating it, when as I read, it's inconsistent. Pretty astounding!

The last one makes sense because the Munchers and the Snake Block (when it's falling) actually slightly move left and right, so the Snake is able to crush them
And the flagpole one is more of a feature than a glitch

Some advice: there is not nearly enough *impact* in the intro, it looks like the block is avoiding mario and not the block failing to activate when hit. If you maybe put a block there that Mario hits and take it out in editing?
The "Death Grip Glitch" is like that in all Super Mario Games.

The partially clipthruable blocks isnt limited to hidden blocks its any block with multiple states like on off blocks and pswitchblocks

I think the invincibility upon grabbing the flagpole is intended, no one wants to die right after they legitamitely already beat the level

You would think the eyeless glitch would work on toad too because both Toad and Toadette have dot eyes. Well, at least I think it would work on toad.
Being invincible when climbing the flagpole is a feature, not a bug. Pretty sure it happened in the original game, too - you have already won, no reason to kill you now.
