Probably won't get to 100 but I have the experience of at least having one be 100 between 2 level 70 characters. Deffinatly put over 100 hours before I stopped playing. Shit took forever to level up when the game first came out

Yup I agree, same thing here for me. Also, I play on Controller, and they've done a good job on that here. PoE and LE have a much worse controller experience and while they have better itemization, character customization and endgame (well, LE has worse endgame than D4 but whatever), none of that actually gets me to enjoy those games. Only D4 has been able to make me like these types of ARPG's again, just like how I used to binge them as a kid and young teen when I didn't have other games.
@@maxmustermann3938 I play on console myself 'ps5' and it plays super smooth for a Diablo game which is Definitely another good reason lol I play last epoch & grim dawn and others on my PC , but most of them don't play as smooth as D4 still does to me . Pretty wild lol
@@the1deadman543 yea, I got grim dawn too because it had controller support but never really played further than the first major boss. In LE I just immediately got bored when I hit monoliths after an already lukewarm experience before that. You're not gonna get me to engage with your more complex systems that are usually not really introduced smoothly and explained well if the gameplay experience isn't worth it for me. I don't play games in order to do some menuing or detailed planning, I'll only bother with that if playing the game is worth that effort.

Small correction, you can't choose different body types within a class, each class just has male and female. You can customize everything else but not the body type. Great upload as always brother
I played in the pre launch server test weekend (got my ashava decoration) then at launch as a druid for a couple weeks. Came back with the game pass launch and tried a new class (barb) and am having more fun than before with the faster leveling and nice QoL changes.
I do wish there would be more of an incentive to play on Eternal. Starting over and such doesn't vibe with but I understand the appeal. Would be great to play Seasonal with the character I have worked with. Even having the level reset to 1 would be fine.
this is great! i stopped playing D4 before season 1 started because the game was / is way too flawed, but judgung from what changes they announced recently i will most likely give it a second try. I guess I'm not really the target audience for such a video with nearing 10k hrs in various ARPGs, but (re)joining a "new" game, I always appreciate such, especially your, videos very very much! so thank you for your effort

Unfortunately we need more of these videos and they need to be more in depth and probably do multi parts to some areas. I’m finding in every single season a mass group of ppl that literally don’t even know what they’re doing or how things work or how to proc skills or even basic tempering on items. I mean I stg I’ve seen ppl with an Andy variant build with nothing but vulnerable and críticos strike damage. I’m seeing players with stuff that they don’t use. I’m seeing a lot of full unique builds but not even using skills that are given from the unique equipped. I mean a rogue using no ultimate but has hakaans amulet….im seeing ppl with +damage% bonus all over there gear. Ppl don’t have clues what a crowd control is or why that’s used. Damage buckets and armor and damage reduction buckets can be confusing. Like having 2 attack speed buckets. That’s not mentioned or described anywhere in the game it’s just something that is a thing. Ppl don’t even fucking understand damage man. Im seeing ppl use Andys but literally have 0 idea how it even works. Then they bitch in someone’s videos. I’m just tired of fucking idiots being idiots and not reading or having a functioning brain and it’s poor game design to have all this Niche informant and no real place to read and learn about the game mechanics. Some of the devs don’t even have answers to shit. It’s just like how does Blizzard expect to make a game and keep a player base if 60% have 0 how it even functions. Ppl running 20k armor? Multiple aspects on gear thinking it stacks when it clearly doesn’t unless stated….but then you got bugs that do stack….its just infuriating truly. I love everything about Diablo 4, except the systems (which is obviously a major part) I'm still hopeful they can do a Reaper of Souls with D4. And I'm sick to death of the negativity, it's just boring honestly.
The next season will be released on 14th May. I planned to unlock some account wide unlocks like waypoint, renown, and altars that will be carried over to S4.
Your seasonal character can only earn seasonal stuff and the battle pass but once the season is over you migrate back to eternal and can't use that character again in the next season. You have to create a new character again to play the next season which I think is dumb. Would be nice to keep playing every season with one character and collect everything

D4 devs are terrible... Only able to understand basic game mechanics and what is fun after months of complaints and after the game is already dead. IF T HEY WERE SMART..... they would realize the number of casuals will go way up with game pass!!!! SO.... they need to make sure the base game functions are 100 percent fixed.... they will never care about end game. I mean it has been a year now and they can't even be bothered to add new outfits in the PvP rewards shop.
PoE has taken a few years to become a halfway decent game. Today it still lacks features that have long been demanded by the community and many leagues have been poorly received. LE was in early access for 5 years before it was finally released and it still lacks endgame. Diablo 4 got a ton of updates that improved the game significantly. The upcoming season 4 update addresses many highly requested itemization and quality of life changes. If you care about cosmetics, you can get them from the battle pass or from the shop.

You can't skip the story if it's your first play though.
Turns out you can. Once you complete the Prologue quest, the Skip Campaign option is available.

The tempering has a lottery type of feel. Testing your luck for something you might not end up getting 99.9% of the time

You can sitl play your character in Non seasonal mode, if you wish to continue them. They don't get deleted, just migrated.
