@dog8207 every hip hop film from Paid in Full to Belly is basically a lesser copy of both Scarfaces. I don't want a remake It would have to be Mexican or maybe Venezuelan as the lead theme but overall it would be the same as '83 revolving around an up and coming immigrant from the bottom who becomes a Cartel boss Same as '83 Just more politically correct
The way the music builds to a crescendo when Muni approaches the window is beautiful. It's crazy how the '83 score manages to sound both beautiful and villainous. Even more crazy just how well it fits with a film made in 1932!
The fact that the 83 soundtrack works with the 1932 film. The steady melodious beat as we hear the doorbell she wakes and answers the door. Then the tempo begins to build as he tells her that their dead and then her smile. The music following her emotions. Then back to the steady beat as she leaves the room and Tony walks to the window. The tempo builds again Tony standing at the window you see he takes a deep breath and then looks up at the bill board. The billboard flashing in unison with the crescendo of the music. It makes me wonder what some classic films would look like with a modern format soundtrack.
This is really brilliant my friend. I love both films, Muni's over the top nature vs Pacino's range. Not a lot of people know just how many nods are in DePalma's 1983 flick but by using the Moroder score.. And timing it PERFECTLY!! You hit a real home run. Well done
@@anibalcesarnishizk2205i come back to this video every couple weeks it is so dang good You're right about both movies. Pacino caught the Muni one in a theater that showed old films and he came out electric. He called Marty Bregman and said "let's remake Scarface" Both of the time
De Palma and the Crew special with Pacino in his element how he played Tony Montana made a realy great remake from the first Scarface.. Much better.. But also it was almost 40 years after... other Time, better Technologie and etc. and the Melodie, theme song from the Movie makes that movie unforgetable.. And the way like Montana talking and his Charme, Carisma its something was realy Special.. Realy the best gangster or Crime Movie ever ever.. and no Crime movie it will be better in Future than this Scarface at 1983.. Maybe again a remake in 20 years or something like that it will be also good, but never better than this Movie at 1983.. The Crew was realy good with De Palma, Oliver Stone, Pacino and Bregman.. Almost impossible to make it better 🎉😅
When you realize that the 1983 film is nearly as old now as the original was at time that the remake was filmed.
Time for another remake?
1932 -1983 = 51 years
1983 - 2024 = 41 years

I need someone to edit the 1932 version with murder and upload the entire film with this musical score
Love that the statue in Tony’s Mansions is a reference to that sign.
Giorgio you Genius!! Thank you for this masterpiece
I wish there was an entire version of this movie with the 1983 score intricately placed throughout.
Yes! We need this done
That would'nt make any sense.

This is the first time I’ve ever heard about the 1932 movie and that music at 1:08 gave me so much goosebumps

I agree.
Because the feelings were the same , the movies were separate by 50 years, though.

Both of the time
The song, scene, location, sky and general tone are perfect and beautiful art. Love this powerful scene of transition to the next stage of mayhem
An eternal classic, absolute cinema

A beautiful marriage of the two with that haunting soundtrack.
Both great
Still better love story than twilight
You're showing your age. Nobody cares about Twilight anymore... they haven't in a decade.
