- going off what the Facebook groups were saying and this isnt just Liverpool in general its pretty much every xmas market apparently this year is the worst for pricing?
now i never went to any xmas market last year so i was interested to see how much prices were.
now I'm only interested in one thing at these markets and its food, so off me and adam went seeing as though we was in the area to check out some food prices.....and have a go on the Ferris wheel which incidentally was £7 for 2 laps

Hi George, The food stalls are probably as you said expensive due to high rental prices, but it's only once a year but not good if on low budget,looks great at night time with all the lights and food looks good 👍

Oxford Market didn’t have half of that. There was one shack selling gluewein and churros, I couldn’t see what else there was it was so busy

@@g2emedia1977 there was were a few stalls,including one where the owner came all the way from Jerusalem with their wood carvings, who wouldn’t allow filming/ photography in case people saw the items and stole the designs.

Used to be great when it was on church street but really went downhill over the years.

1000 pound a week to have a stall there 5000 over 5 weeks!So the prices reflect the rent!

Not for me to be honest. I had a walk around there a couple of years ago, haven't been back since.
The quality of the food did look good though.

from what i heard about pricing i expected higher prices to be honest but 10 quid for 3 cookies is a bit much

Loved that guys 😂 The prices are shocking ! I've been to the one in Hyde Park a couple of times 10yrs ago when it was free - had a go on the big wheel there back around 2008-2015 & got some fab photos
The food looks amazing, but the prices are shocking for the portion sizes. You looked like you got a good deal at the end 🎉 You didn't look like you enjoyed that wheel, I'm gonna have a go on the one next to the arena next year 🎡

ive been the hyde park one twice when it was free but now they charge no thanks ha ha
the 5 looping coaster was good but its now £10 a go ha ha rip off
the place is huuuuge though and the drop tower there is insane

@@g2emedia1977 You're welcome, I used to go for a wander round in there every year. It was free. I just look from a distance now. I'm definitely going on yours next to the arena. Took me ages to find where they put the price !

I going to Daresbury expressway tomorrow if not raining, to do audit into my accident in July, where hgv driver went onto wrong side ofcroad, & hit me head on. I will be criticising Cheshire Polices handling of investigation, tho. Cheshire Police need taking under special measures.

@g2emedia1977 Police officer on case told me, it non of my business and refuses to discuss it. I asked Crime Commissioner to investigate or refer to IOPC. Insurance admitted full liability & I waiting for them to settle.

Just watched your vid about horsfall
There used to be another bridge further along from the drinking trough, i used to play on it as a kid and there was cast iron steps onto the bridge that were broken and we lowered a rope through a broken one and climbed down it ,scary now but we didnt realize then its about 80 to 100 hundred foot drop got ropeburn but you couldnt let go certain death, and that tunnel under flats doesnt go anywhere used to play in it and we used to walk through dingle tunnel scary when a train comes got some story down there, also the mill one was good seen all your vids bell me when your down that way and i will show u

Liverpool market looks the same as the Manchester market and the Nottingham market and the Lincoln market and so on.
when did it become the norm for every Christmas market to have EXACTLY the same stalls in every one?
why is there a monopoly here?
everything is the same, ridiculously expensive and frankly, quite boring,
its just mainly food stalls, crap rides and very few gift stalls.
there's nothing original or Christmassy about them at all.
The prices will go up when more people are there at nighttime.
that thought did cross my mind lol
