This is pretty good, and I like the detail that Lord X’s “half-disguise” sprites are essentially his sprites from Cycles. Even now, he still sees BF as a total joke.
I managed to notice that Lord X was inching closer and closer to BF during the second runaway part, nice touch! Honestly, this was much better than the original, and I'm glad that now Lord X doesn't "jump" like in the original, he just stays there.

I legit only just now finished watching this and gosh dang dude I got to say that this is absolutely phenomenal while being VERY well put together. (Btw the end bit at 3:37 is a very neat inclusion also congrats on 20k)
It fits more with MX. The instrumental vocals and even the animations of the blocks breaking because of him makes the music better. With lord X, the start is good, but the chase part absolutely SUCKS. Game Over with MX is UNDERRATED

Man. Game Over but peak. For starters: the charm. The og had some neat animations and stuff, but this- this is Toby fox levels of charm. Many have this already, but the starting animation for Sonic is amazing. The fact that X also breaks rocks is silly. He’s overall a real expressive goofball looking to murder an innocent boy. Secondly: the remix. I was expecting just a cover. What did I get? A masterpiece! One of the best things to come from funny bleeding blue rat and KBH games honestly. Third: Sprites! I can imagine they were a pain to make, but they are AMAZING. Haven’t seen better ones out there. In conclusion: 11/10 pretty good ig
