I really love the interviews Brian does with all these different athletes. He does ask great questions. One thing I do think he could do a bit better is ask shorter questions. He tends to fill in half of the answer when asking the question. It comes from knowing so much himself about the topic, which is great. But it does lead to quite directed answers and little deviation and surprise answers. Otherwise keep being great! Waiting for the Hooper, Larratt, Brzenk, Schwarzenegger episodes haha.
Im sure its just my age but watching these two go at it in their prime was my favorite time of strong man..too much speed and endurance to win nowadays so hooper is just dominating
Brian I was watching your training for arm wrestling and I really realized that you easily beat your rivals even without the correct technique, imagine when you learn the techniques of the sport well you will really be invincible.
@@OwenSkelly-k8n What is your criteria? Thor has broken more world records than bigz and brian combined, and he had to surpass their records as well. @@hans84_de its probably like what most people will argue, Thor doesn't have quite as many titles as Z or Brian. Personally, I think Thor is perhaps the best strongman we ever had. During his peak, the quickest of them all and still possessed ridiculous static strength. There were plenty of years he came close in WSM and honestly, if his peak era was any other time besides Z and Brian's time, I think he would've had way more titles under his belt.
@@richieewinnsI think it had more to do with his own mistakes than Z and Brian. Half a point off the title in 2014, the only athlete who didnt wear a squat suit. 2016 was in a great position to win and came out too fast and fumbled the keg, one of his best events. 3 times he came 2nd at WSM he was 0.5, 1 and 2 points off the title. Yes, just what Adam said. The old Era of Bodybuilding and their work ethics, sheer drive to push also really hard weights, being conditioned, being strict with the diet was no cakewalk. Everyone who knows the history of Ronnie, Dorian, Arnold etc. can agree with the fact that these guys pushed their bodies to the absolute Limit. These guys were Athletes as in every other sport and deserve the same respect. Dont be so harsh @tinymahuta only because it is not your type of sport. People see things in a different depth once they understand the meaning of it. It is just simply not yours.
I could watch 2 hours of Hafthor saying “video”
I really love the interviews Brian does with all these different athletes. He does ask great questions. One thing I do think he could do a bit better is ask shorter questions. He tends to fill in half of the answer when asking the question. It comes from knowing so much himself about the topic, which is great. But it does lead to quite directed answers and little deviation and surprise answers.
Otherwise keep being great!
Waiting for the Hooper, Larratt, Brzenk, Schwarzenegger episodes haha.
Yep, brian does like to hear himself talk lol
Thanks Brian, this is great. Subscribed
REST IN PEACE BIG GEOFF CAPES
Enjoyed the conversation both of you have a wonderful rest of your day or weekend 🎉
Big Mountain I love you, buddy. I’m so proud of you big giant you’re my favorite strong man besides Brian.
Just discovered your channel. This is awesome. Thnks Brian
GOAT & GOAT
I think Brian and Big Z are the goats, Thor is very close but not quite there.
@@OwenSkelly-k8n What is your criteria? Thor has broken more world records than bigz and brian combined, and he had to surpass their records as well. Them 3 and Pudz are the 4 most decorated strongmen and Thor's static strength is superior to all. I would certainly use the term GOAT to Thor, as well as for Kaz.
Crazy close.
@@richieewinns Thor has more titles than Brian. Did a quick google check myself.
Normally Brian makes whoever he’s talking to look small, but Brian and Thor look like two normal size guys in a room full of small furniture
Good stuff, Brian.
Brian ask such long-winded questions😂 Great interview btw
Like this .... 100%
This was an awesome episode

Shaw and Thor!!!
Listening to your thoughts. Makes me think way back. Bill Kazmier not getting invited back for a few years🤔 OD Wilson getting robbed with a track run🤔🤔.
