Okay so after reading this and looking at their choreography, here's my interpretation of the song! I think it's about a student who is pretty quiet and passive but harbors a lot of intense emotions inside. Perhaps school isn't all it was chalked up to be (0:46). They seem to be interested in a girl (0:24 + 1:32?) and maybe blame their passive nature for their mundane life (1:11). The chorus is of them fantasizing about finally saying what's on their mind. They stand up to the teacher and call out a pervert. They then seem to apologize(?) and call themself a bad student, but if you look at their choreography video, it might be sarcasm. They're just tired of it all and itching for a change of the mundane. Perhaps they even see their interal thoughts as the thoughts of all students. Thinking "I'm the only one who can finally voice our complaints." (1:15, 2:20) I like to imagine they actually do voice their thoughts in the end. idk! food for thought! That's just how I interpreted it! :>
idk i thought at first that suzuka was singing in the role of a teacher. how the textbook is a shield (like an excuse)and in a way lets him get closer to that student. and i thought that then suzuka sings in the role of the student but icould be wrong.
@petra3217 this is my interpretation as well. In the choreography of the video there's a moment when the 3 others do the head movement thing and Susuka controls with her hand. I took that as her as the role of the teacher grooming them. Idk. My take on it. I can't tell of the rap from rin is in the voice of the teacher or the student. Also susuka sings with a deeper tone. I took that to be as the teacher too
THIS SONG SO GOOD
Song I put on repeat. One of the songs for my distant future anime. Also Nerai Uchi which enhanced the original 50 years ago.
