what some folks might not know is Ball uses 904L stainless steel. This is the same quality and hardness of steel used by Rolex. Most others use 316L stainless steel which is far more susceptible to scratches and dents.
TY for review, I almost got this but didnt realize how big it was. I only have 6.75 wrist so now I think I will pass. Kinda bummed me out too as I found it new for just under $1k USD
I have recently become enamored of tritium watches. Ive looked at Luminox, but i really dont like the whole "tacticool" look of them, plus I've heard where their durability is dubious at best. Ball watches seem to have both the functionality of tritium lume along with the elegance and practicality of a luxury tool watch.

I saw the grey dial in person. It is incredible! It may be my favorite. Very unique and changes with the lighting dramatically. This is a watch that should cost retail if marketed properly. At $1000 on shopworn I really don’t see anyone losing much value. I’ve learned that wearing a watch under cuff, cuts down on the heavy wear and dings dramatically, but then of course it’s harder to show off. Lol This caliber of watch, well cared for, I like to think will not depreciate a ton from there. But I’m not a watch expert….
@@hanigharaibeh6002it truly ranges from light aluminum color to deep grey and almost black dependent upon the lighting. Usually somewhere in between those extremes I guess. I get compliments often!
Unfortunately in Australia Ball watches are serviced by an outside provider and from personal experience attempting to get my Ball NEDU serviced, I would not recommend them. The tritium does need to be replaced. While this is a quick and painless process with Luminox. I can’t say the same for the Balls chosen serving contractor. It has been over a year and a half with still no resolution. A poor result for a time piece that is still listed for over $7000 msrp.
100 meters is plenty, lol. That's well past the depth of recreational diving. It's not even a dive watch. Sure, it has a screw down crown but it also has chronograph functions which are not screw down. I'm surprised they got a 100-meters out of it.

I recently lucked out and stumbled across one of these chronographs with the white dial at a local pawnshop. I was able to get it for $700 USD.

What shade of gray is it . Dark or light ?
