I just wanted to take the time to write this post and say thank you and why. Thank you to Jose Fernandez and Yordano Ventura for making baseball so exciting and for being such major factors of the youth movement. Both Jose and Yordano had an energy about them that was unmatched. But I don’t get it, why did both pitchers have to be taken from us at such young ages. Both had such promising starts to their careers with the Marlins and Royals respectively. Ventura got to pitch in the World Series with the Kansas City Royals and Fernandez was becoming a dominant pitcher for the Miami Marlins and perhaps the Marlins were building something special. As I previously stated both were part of the youth movement in baseball and I think they both would have fit right in with where the game is right now. In fact, it was Ventura and the Royals who kind of started this bullpen revolution. So again I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to Jose Fernandez and Yordano Ventura for everything they did for the game of baseball. RIP Yordano. What a signature performance, and ironically he was paying tribute in honor of a friend. I will really miss this guy so much. Yeah, I know he rubbed some people the wrong way, and even Royals fans the wrong way sometimes, but the guy was so confident in his stuff and exciting to watch. He seemed really passionate about the game. Such a big part of us finally winning a WS in 2015.

My Dad got me 2 tickets to Game6. We gotta start drinking." This was 11am that day. We hit a bar till 3pm, then hit Royals parking lot. Drank till heard National anthem. Went in.

They were talking about Pablo Sandoval's WS career and I also like to say he likes to beat up on the AL Central because he was a pivotal part of the sweep of the Tigers and this 2014 team that beat the Royals
Uggh this game and series is hard watch. We were better team, KC. Should have won Back2Back. Personally? If I was 3rd base coach, knowing when Salvy is in a lil hitting slump, that he's gonna stay there for rest that game..He was chasing sliders if u all remember in ABs b4 that final AB with Gordon on 3rd. As the 3rd base coach I would have took that into consideration with Alex approaching 3rd base. Made SF defense make a pefect relay to home plate. I would've sent Gordon......More than likely? Would've been thrown out in perfect relay 8 out 10 trys. But something about that moment felt "send him." Either Gordon gets there, Giants muff up the crucial relay to home plate or Gordan runs over Buster and he drops the ball. Safe! 3-3. No way we lose that with our pen and inspired lineup at given times. Oh well, looking back prob in another decade. Much better story.
