Andrea Stockhammer is an art historian and since 2022 has been the director of the DomQuartier Salzburg, a museum complex that encompasses Salzburg's former secular and ecclesiastical centre of power with the state rooms of the Residenz, the Residenzgalerie, the Cathedral Museum and the Museum St. Peter. Andrea Stockhammer spoke to us about prince archbishops who loved to party, Salzburg's role in European musical history, its UNESCO World Heritage status and the magic of times gone by.
