That's pretty cool. I watched assuming I'd never be able to afford such a thing, but the price really isn't that bad compared to a normal premium grill.

Yeah! I don't think it's unreasonable and it's really nice

This is an interesting product, Brian. I hope you'll do a follow-up in a few months after you've had more time to use it. I'm glad you got to do it. BTW, the price seems quite reasonable unless the cost of the pellets becomes prohibitive. It's about $1/pound and it might be nice to know how much you use to cook a typical meal. Enjoy it!

Will do sir! Thanks! I think it won't become too crazy with the pellets because you can use whatever brand you'd like really. But, I have to try it with some other types of pellets before I know how it goes...so update later!

The only thing I'm as obsessed with, besides smart home gadgets, is smokers.
Good luck with your new obsession. LOL.

Brian, yes this grill is a good one. Now if you want an awesome Smart BBQ Grill, checkout the Pitt Boss “KC Platinum Combo”. This is the Smart Home User’s dream Come true. It’s got it all (Bluetooth, WiFi, and more) - Plus it comes fully assembled. Give it is a buck or two more in cost, But what It can do is worth it.

great Video, should start with a warning for anyone about to watch who has no meat in the Fridge. I was lucky just about to light my Charcoal Grill. I look forward to seeing how you add smart LEDs behind those Brisk IT logo cut outs on the leg supports. Changes colour when the meat is done!

I would get one if it was compatible with home assistant that way you wouldn't have to have your phone on you at all times and you can set it up in a dashboard so when you are getting ready to cook and then when your cooking it will show the main stuff you need to control the grill and not have to be relying on your phone
If it's compatible with home assistant and Google or Alexa or home kit that would be a great option to have

A bit overkill for a BBQ. You can get a decent BBQ and probe thermometer for way less money. For me, there is smart home automation, which is "invisible" and works in the background and is really useful. On the other side, there is gimmick home automation which is not that useful and somewhat ridiculous. I will let you guess in which category I think gadget falls in. 😊

Can you get a good sear on a steak?

Yep! It's not like a traditional bbq so it's not just direct heat but you can do it. You gotta crank it up though. :)
