Those are projections of your fears. I had very similar experiences, seeing and feeling those dark entities, and of course I was scared, but than I decided to confront it and to try to find out what it wants from me. And it helped me overcome some very deep fears I had. When you calm down and you don't feel scared, it doesn't look scary anymore. Buddha, before he became enlightened was attacked by demon Mara, but he defied the demon by ignoring him, because he knew it was all only an illusion.
I saw one and took out a sword and killed it promptly, and the universe was created after I killed it. I’ve never had to deal with other shadows again, at least not in a literal sense. They are your dark side and all you have to do is recognize they are a part of you, and that they can be used to your advantage if mastered. It is a visual and archetypal representation of Carl Jungs idea of the shadow.
Yeah, usually when I try to run from something I run in slow motion. I have hard that if you spin yourself around in the dream then it can fix that but never tried it myself.
Tibetan Buddhism and Theosophy talk about these things fairly extensively. Sleep paralysis entities are thought forms. Look into the concept of thought forms. They're created from a certain type of habitual thinking around one thing in particular. For example, if you have a certain fear and you focus a lot of energy habitually on that fear it creates a "thought form", youre basically creating "entities". Also the "Tulpa" phenomenon is more or less the same thing but created deliberately. What your girlfriend is talking about is "The Astral Plane", there are about 3-4 planes where the "body" of the Self exists.
woah never been this early 😂 you guys are so cute i love you both!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤ peace and love - omg i need to add, when it gets terrifying in sleep paralysis i just relax and fill my mind with loving thoughts, it always works and makes the fear and negative entities go away.
I have had sleep paralysis since my preteen years. Disembodied hands choking me is a reoccurring one for me. Aliens looking over me. Things like that. I’ll be totally awake unable to move and talk, seeing these in my room. It’s crazy scary.
I've had sleep paralysis more times than I can count and every experience is when I'm awake, sometimes I've seen angels that turn into demon like creatures, sometimes I hear voices, sometimes I feel something touching me. But the most powerful experience had no entities at all, I woke up, couldn't move, and my chest felt like it was being crushed. Then I started to vibrate and everything around me was vibrating, it was so intense, the vibrations were shaking ferociously, it was really crazy.
I get it every night man, i dont even get scarred anymore i legit chill and admire my minds creation. The stuff ive seen would make some go insane, you get used to it tho, i love it now since its a gate way to the lucid dream world
Dude sleep paralysis is fucking insane. Feels like someone sewed your mouth when you're trying to scream for help. One time I fucking heard all kinds of little kids whispering in my ears crazy ass shit
i felt this so many times. my experience was me laying in my bed and having this shadow type of entity lurking over my body. getting closer and i was frozen with my mind still fully aware. i had this same exact experience like 5-6 times in one night., i was so damn afraid. no matter how hard i tried to move and get away i could only eventually wake up. i was also around different parts of my bedroom. creepy things. pure fear
I had a dream where I was walking down my gravel driveway and realized I Was Dreaming!!! I freaked out and I immediately laid down in the gravel as a conscious instinct being I was laying down in my bed. As soon as I laid down I closed my eyes laying in the gravel and opened them now in my room... my little fan was blowing on me and it sounded like a semi truck as I woke up... it was so intense and scary... my favorite dream in a lot of ways.
I have this happen at least once a week. When I was meditating it would happen almost every day. That's why I stopped. It got to the point where I would have it go on for 5-7 mins at a time and be an utter night mare.
It seems to me that it's impossible to know. It could be that we all have similar mechanisms in our brains that cause us to have these similar experiences during sleep paralysis because after all we are the same species with a similar biology and emotional responses. However, there's something about these "otherworldly" experiences we have on psychedelics, dreaming meditating and so on that do seem almost MORE REAL than when we are in a "normal" sober mind frame. Our perception of reality and the world is always being filtered through consciousness, so maybe it just feels more real because our brain is much more active during these experiences and it is much more intense. Maybe we're actually tapping into different dimensions or adding a new lens over our current one. We just don't have a good enough understanding of these things to say for sure.
Experienced it many times almost weekly. At the beginning it was terrifying I went three days with next to no sleep. Once I researched and realised nothing bad was actually happening and a demon wasn't trying to enter my soul it's just become annoying more than anything because it disrupts my sleep and then a slip back into when trying to go back to sleep. Mindful meditation and the process of surrendering to it has helped a lot just relax it can't hurt you it's all in your head
Also these dementor like shadow people that I sometimes see never happens in my recollectable dreams, always either awake and falling asleep or directly in sleep paralysis, I find this very interesting. There was even one scenario where an ex boyfriend of mine that abused psychoactive substances (not just psychedelics but also "hard" drugs such as meth cocaine etc) saw them in one of my rooms while we were awake, started freaking out, and his fear became a sort of energetic food source for this entity to the point where it was no longer a dementor wraith-like creature by the time I was moving him to a different room to calm him down (I was pretty used to these sights by this time and had figured out the trick of not allowing any fear to control your emotions) it had actually seemingly physically manifested as a dark solid humanoid thing that seemed tangible. Pretty scary stuff especially considering I was only 15 at the time and completely sober (so I had no drug to blame for the sake of my rational mind)
I seemed to always have sleep paralysis episodes since i was a kid. I tried explaining to my parents my experiences but they only told me it was because I was not close to god. Sure enough its been more than 10 years since these episodes began and just now im finding videos like this. You dont know how good It feels to be able to show my parents these videos so they could see i was not full of shit lol Also feels good to know im not alone..
I've had similar experiences, one time there was a dark person just standing next to me, i couldn't move anything i couldnt even move my head to look. And i believe that it actually is a dark energy there, and it could be a sign of something happening in your life at the moment, but for different people it could be a different meaning.
The correct term is 'Hypnagogic Imagery'. Sleep is always accompanied by paralysis. I've had this terrifying experience four times so far, and I hope it never happens to me again. You dream that you've awoken and that there is a malevolent 'presence' in the room. Archetypical figures include a jet-black silhouette of a man and the 'old hag' with long straggly white hair. I woke (or dreamed I had) and my bedroom looked normal except for an open window above my bed - except there is no such window above my bed. Some 'thing' flew into the room through the non-existing window and settled in the darkness of the room, just out of sight. I couldn't move. Then I noticed the 'silhouette man' from the waist up as though sitting perfectly still at the end of my bed, representing pure evil. I felt it wanted to quietly scare me to death, asking nothing in return. Then came the 'old hag' sitting alongside my bed mimicking playing an imaginary piano on my duvet. I knew that had to wake myself up to escape, but I couldn't move. The more I tried to ignore it and go back to sleep, the worse the fear became. It took what seemed like super-human strength to rouse myself from the bed, to break the spell, but I finally achieved it. I agree with other reports that a common cause of this unwanted phenomenon is sleeping on your back: the brain is trying to tell you that you are vulnerable and need to wake up, so creates these scary visions to frighten the bejesus out of you so you'll wake to defend and survive a potential attack. But it is strange that these same two apparitions feature in so many peoples reports of hypnagogic imagery. As weird as this experience is, I don't feel it has any connection to psychedelia, and I should know. Anyway, I'm off to bed now. Sleep well.
sleep paralysis is VERY intense. I've had it hundres of times. On my first time I thought I was dying, really freaked me out. I usually get lots of auditory hallucinations and some colorful flashes with my eyes closed, and a feeling of intense vibration through my whole body. I've heard some very creepy shit, like some "entity" speaking some weird language to me, he sounded really mad and his voice was scary as hell. Felt him entering my room and coming close to me... scared the shit out of me.
I used to hate sleep paralysis... eventually I got used to them, and started enjoying them. I don't get them as frequent, but happy when I do get them.
Have you ever heard of ”the dream fish”? Its habitat is just outside of Australias coast. If not, look into that, eating a cooked meal containing this fish induces sleep paralysis. It was on one of Anthony Bordains shows.
I had a ton of sleep paralysis as a child and teenager, and now I just have very strange dreams that are usually negative. Most of my sleep is somewhere in between lucidity and dreaming, it's very strange. Not quite a lucid dream, more like fading in and out. I also have insomnia which makes me take hours to fall asleep, so that could contribute!
I've never had sleep paralysis but I did have an extremely creepy dream/experience one time. I was in a completely dark place, not even a room or anything just total black nothingness and a scary af girl (looked kinda like the girl from the ring mixed with the cut up girl from 13 ghosts) was standing behind me and I had a birds eye view of all of this. I could feel her behind me and all of a sudden she pushed me really hard and fast and I woke up and I had fallen off my bed. Scariest dream experience I've ever had.
The second time I was able to astral project once I stood up I was attacked and pinned down to my bedroom floor by a man. The first time I was able to float around my house and look at my featureless face in the mirror
I think its sort of a waking hallucination/delirium type thing, ive had a few experiences like this and it always reminds me of experiences ive had with diphenhydramine overdosing. It has that same feeling of being scared into CNS stimulation only to realize that theres nothing there, and i think your brain probably makes up a reason to explain why youre in that fight or flight state
A couple of years ago I had a similar experience. I woke up at night around 3 o'clock, to the weight of an "entity" sitting on my bed, next to me. I was completely paralyzed unable to move or speak, when I tried with all forces unblock felt that the presence got out of bed and I sensed clearly the weight that rose ... there was another presence in the room, I could not to see but I perceived as dark and terrifying. the bed guy seemed to be in coat. Shortly after they left, and I took to move but I was in a sweat and terrified .. fortunately still managed to fall asleep
Bro i had a stroke 2 years ago and been through a lot. im in a wheelchair now but long story short. i talked to someone who helped me astroprjet out of my body. I was scared to bc i put myself in a vibe that all of a sudden i went down this tunnel, and the tunnel was like a hole to different times and different dementions in time. entities or evil demons were looking at me pass through time and they would stop what they were doing and stare at me. When i came back i was different
that's crazy, I remember having one but my whole room was pitch black but I had that feeling that something was looking back at me and getting closer and closer and yeah,... I almost shit my pants but "broke free" and ran out of my room.
I'm dealing with some dark entities in my house, they would disturb my sleep every night! I did a few things to rid of them, now they are no longer in my room, however during the night it's like their trying to seep under my door. I also started sleeping with the tv on and it helps a little to have some light.
I hate when this shit happens to me. Happened to me twice when I was young, and then now ten years later it's started happening to me on a regular basis. Only saw a dark entity once though. I was on my couch and I had the paralysis and it looked like a dark figure peaking around the corner of my hallway. Didn't scare me but was freaky none the less. The paralysis itself is the scariest part for me. I'm always afraid I'm going to stop breathing or not come out of it. And I always feel like I'm levitating when it happens to me.
It happens to me about once a month, and I got used to it. Getting stuck in dream loops, and falling through the void is just annoying now. I don't know why it happens to me so much, and haven't met anyone else who gets it this bad.
I've had several sleep paralysis experiences, but the ones I can remember the best were during my army training. I think they have a lot to do with stress and change, but who knows, right? During my first one my eyes were closed and I really wasn't dreaming anything anymore, but I just heard a lot of noise and hassle, and as it went on the voices became nasty laughs and other "scary" and "horrifying" stuff, then suddenly I recognized a friends laugh over all that noise and thought "Why the fuck would he be here?" and then I actually woke up. During my second paralysis there I saw tall dark figures just pace between our rooms door and my locker and made the same noise that I heard during my earlier one, couldn't move and it felt like I was choking, this went on for some time and then I woke up. My first one was during the first weeks, second one during the last ones. I've had maybe 10 now so my reaction nowadays is more like "Not this bullshit again..." and focus on trying to wiggle my toes, lol :P
funny she mentions being tested. it's been happening to me as far back as I can remember 100s of times. sometimes they're tests, sometimes I'm alone and I can eventually move around my living room (where I sleep cuz the dreams/paralysis happen to much in the bedroom) others there's a different entity almost the opposite of the bad ones. only saw it once at the foot of the couch. it was translucent like glass or crystal and it was hard to make out any features because is clothes/robe thing was clear too and it's like it knew I was trying see it because it came closer to me and it let me sit up and when I got a better view of it's face I had no idea what it was it wasn't what I expected to see. it wasn't human, or any kind of alien I've ever seen in movies etc or anything I've ever seen or imagined "being alive". I don't know what to call that feeling of seeing something so foreign that you can't make out it's intentions but its clearly intelligent and seemingly indifferent... I'm rambling now but that memories are more clear and vivid than any memories I've made IRL and I can recount most of them from the I'm I was 9 (I'm 36 now)... I could go on forever about the bad experiences with ink/shadow types like most things I've heard bout but I'm curious if anyone else has ever see this "indifferent" light/crystal/water one. searching clear translucent being hasn't gotten me very far
As everyone knows if you dive into the realm of lucid dreaming too quick, its likely that it would turn on you and that you could possibly experience sleep paralysis in some form. I had this the one time that i dedicated myself to try and lucid dream. I had practiced the steps at certain times previous and finally decided that i was ready to make my first attempt. Id studied the steps from as many different sources as i could and familiarized myself to it so that it would be easier and that id be more disciplined to it(note i didnt learn of the sleep paralysis from lucid dream attempts until after the fact). So there i was asleep at i dont remember what time, but i did go to bed pretty late (early morning)... i did the steps and was waiting for a dream that i could find as a good start, but none came, until finally i woke up in my dream to this pale demonic girl that appeared on top of me cowgirl style(lol) and was choking me hands fully wrapped around my neck pressing all of her weight down on me and she was screaming in my face 'im going to kill you im going to kill you' repeatedly. I could feel the lack of oxygen and finally woke up taking in a full gasp of air and sat up faster than i even fully awoke. Im pretty sure i was sleeping on my side since for lucid dreaming your supposed to sleep where youre most comfortable... so i assumed that my throat was not collapsing or anything like that since i wasnt asleep on my back. But in my dream i was on my back. Quite the interesting and frightful experience. I wouldnt say that was my first time coming across these demons as i call them but was my first and only time having sleep paralysis. I have also heard things like 'do not attempt to open your third eye at 3:33AM' and decided personally that this was some form of traveling into the multi-verse and havent attempted it since. Who knows maybe i will be able to lucid dream someday just using a different technique.
I used to get sleep paralysis very often when I was a small child, last time it happened was a little over two years ago, it was never anything terrifying but a few times I did get somewhat scary hallucinations
My first sleep paralysis experiences were when I was about 7 onwards, I had some very dark hallucinations that I perceived to be real and I could not move or talk. Involved dark entities such as shadow people etc I have since mostly healed from these but occasionally (especially if I haven't slept in days which happens with the current medication I'm on) I start hallucinating shadow people watching me sleep, same things happen if I take melatonin for more than a week straight
Regarding the phone noise. Was it quiet enough that it theoretically could have been a glitch? I ask because the simplest explanation is almost always the right explanation. I feel like demons exist within our fear and paranoia that we then project into a real state. A glitch would probably be something you're resistant to because you'd associate it with a coincidence but if this happened after the dementor experience this glitch could have occurred from a subconscious desire (desire maybe not the right word) that was caught up in the unexplainable and terrifying 'realm'. From there low grumbles that resembled words could have been interpreted by your fears and anxieties and thus gave birth to a demon.
Hi guys, I too had this expience when I was 19 , I was sleeping on my stomach and I woke up and couldn't speak or move and I could feel this dark evil male energy hovering above me. Then I eventually broke free when I just relaxed and stopped struggling. Was very scary.
I have seen the same demon when I was in college. The same double dream thing happened where it felt like I woke up and heard messages going off on my computer and they were all telling me to get away from the demon that was coming into my room. I tried to grab the door but it was locked and i felt something coming into my room so i ran under my covers and i stuck my head up from the covers and i feel like i went into sleep paralysis and there was the grim reaper or the dementor thing coming towards me. It went over me then i pulled myself out of the paralysis and it was gone. trppy stuff
My last scary lifelike dream: I was falling asleep and immediately my comforter was wrapping around me and threw me to the floor like it was an anaconda or something... wake up freaked out and chill for a bit... go back to sleep and immediately boom does it again and even more terrifying... wake up and try to record myself with my phone to see what was going on... ended up sleeping peacefully
Hey Tom, I had many similar experiences and I think it was because I quit smoking weed. I also had many lucid dreams in this period so maybe there is a connection. It was a pretty stressing period in my life so maybe that was also a factor. I'm not sure but since you also stopped smoking weed recently I think it has something to do with it.
Manuel van der Zijl because your leaving the demon behind which is "weed" and they're trying to cling on to you or are pissed you overcame it. same thing happened to me, alot actually.. the way to get through it is just proclaim the name of Jesus , I'd repeat "in the name of Jesus I rebuke you" "in the name of Jesus be gone" and if you don't believe me just try it and see how fast it scatters
I used to have sleep paralysis all the time, until I started smoking marijuana. Ever since I was ten until I turned 21 I had sleep paralysis 1-4 times a month. Sometimes happening almost every night in the week. I kept fighting it since the few times I let it happen I met a shadow the same size as me, surrounded by black smoke and dark red eyes. It would freak me out, but towards my adult years I would let it happen. I finally was able to talk to it, the shadow. It told me it was always part of me but I had to accept it. It extended its hand towards me, and I would be too scared to reach back to it. The last time I became locked with the shadow in this messy room where nothing made sense. We were both there locked by something else, and it told me we would be locked in there until I took its power. I kept denying it, and it got very frustrated and told me it didn’t care. It was going to show me a sample of its power, and as soon as it grabbed my hand it was amazing. I was both simultaneously living in my bed and in the “dream” at the same time. I felt immense energy flowing like waves up and down my body. It kept getting more and more intense and I woke up, my heart wanting to jump out my chest. Another one, my consciousness had split in two and was both in my bed laying down and in the “dream”. I appeared in a place I’ve never seen, with houses aligned in front of me. There was a house in front of me I went in, this wasn’t me but it was me. I didn’t know my job there, but it did know. I could feel all emotions in the house where I needed to do my job in. I already knew what was happening, but didn’t know the people. A mother slams the door open screaming, while the father is running around pulling his hair out. I went into the first room to my right, and the late teenage daughter had hung herself. She was already dead. I also saw her soul and I told it to go somewhere. I could draw out details, like time of day, the blue carpet, her messy room, the green carpet in the hallway, just very high details that don’t make sense to create in an actual dream.
This is weird. I lived in a flat where weird things happend. I never did any psychedelics or that stuff. One night I suddenly woke but I was not awake. I suddenly became aware of a girl who whispered to me. Not in my language but kept repeating itself over and over in a rhythm. Suddenly I understood what it said. I told me to hurt myself in different ways, just in one word. I woke up in the middle of the night and the rhythm turned in to knocks on the door. 3 knocks and it was followed by silence. It was more than silence, more like absence of sound. It was ridiculously scary. Never experienced that since.
Sleep paralysis is common for everyone but if you have narcolepsy it happens a lot more, and all it’s is is you’re brain isn’t in full rem sleep but your body is and that’s why you can move but that feeling of not being able to move makes it easy for entities to appear
It could be that we feel defenseless in that state which causes our imaginations to run wild(i could see unknown "dark entities" being a common fear). Or it could be dark entities coming to steal our souls.
Bruuuuuuv, The same dementor/succubus entity thingy your girlfriend saw has happened to me multiple times, never heard of another person having the same experience
I get sleep paralysis when I try to nap during the day and rarely during the night, I have never seen or heard anything spooky, but the shit is scary huh lol
I too have had a lot in a short span of time, maybe like 4 or 5 in 1 month. I think i managed to start one out of free will, you think its possible? As I never felt any kind of menacing entity, it was just a weird experience for me and it made me very curious about this sensation.
Those dark entities may be a training course set out by components of our unconscious to prepare us for dealing with the real demons that prefer stay hidden. The fact is that those visions can't really do much to me except terrify me. The terror can be dealt with on the spot with vipassana, and then I can enjoy the roller coaster from a steady mindset. The metaphysical plane is non spacial, you can't locate spirits, this invasion of personal space is a really cool freaky trick, but actual demons come from the same place your soul is, "inside" ------ I feel like i'm asking for it, talking like this, but fuck it, i do vipassana, if there's a mothafucka here that needs some testing that's me : ))
i had many sleep paralyses and onetime as me realized that i fell asleep, it turned into a lucid sleep paralyse...i swear my soul flew out of my eyes and i had an OBE (out of bode experience)...it was fucking crazy but not really scary this time
I've always assumed that I've never really had sleep paralysis, but it just occurred to me that I've woken up several times from nightmares wanting to yell out (not even embarrassed ._.), but I don't think I've ever "seen" any scary shit. But I do remember when I was a kid I was having this nightmare about this creature with like pointed, red fingers; but I woke up, but then I couldn't move or scream. I'm pretty sure I'd moved in my sleep because my shoulder started slipping down the side of my bed but I was interpreting this as this creature pulling me down the side of the bed. Does that sound like sleep paralysis? Or not quite?
Okay so I'm literally writing this 5 mins after I woke up from this experience, I seemed to fall asleep almost instantly and I had super lucid dreaming more controllable than I ever have had before. At one point I remember lying in my bed under my covers literally watching a real movie on my tv( can't put my mind on what it was but I was actually into it lol) but then I experienced the sleep paralysis vibrations during that lucid dream and didn't think anything of it because I thought I was still awake, but then Next thing I know I had full control of my dreams I was at my friends house with some random people I know and spilled water on my hot neighbor 😂 but then she got mad and left and then shit got weird I was in my school class and I was singing and dancing around to a rap song and my teacher was just kinda laughing with me and I was in a good mood as I walked into the hallway but as I walked down the hallway within micro seconds everything got dark as if the lights went out and I turned around and long down the hallway there was a man standing there but he was hidden in the shadows and was like a silouhette and I immediately managed to scream out "FuCKKK YOU! " but when I tried to move everything went pitch black after that and I was paralyzed but slowly regained my movement and conscious and woke up with the chills. It's weird it was a good lucid dream until that. Any thoughts on this Tom?
Also not to mention within the past like month or two I've had like 5-6 sleep paralysis incidents where I've felt that dark presence in my room and I couldn't do anything about it, felt very dark but idk if that's how it is for everyone, one time during this dark feeling I heard a noise come from outside my door. Within the past year I've done a lot of tripping, so could this be my mind trying to teach me to shed my inner demons? Considering I was able to get the words fuck you out which is what I'd like to say to all my anxiety and bullshit that plagues me?
I'm pretty sure I was listening to a Terence McKenna lecture while I was asleep and someone asked "is there such thing as darker entities" and after that this scary ass bird human dark ass thing showed up and kept getting closer til I woke up
I fell asleep to mark twains “mysterious stranger” and a BRIGHT orange yellow light showed up on my LEFT shoulder and it sounded like garbled speech After I calmed myself in front of it, it calmed down and disappeared like it folded out of my consciousness- Its a story about satan
Happened to me only once about a year ago. I was laying on my back, I could see my room as if I was awake. Then I felt something very heavy on my chest, as if someone was sitting on me and I felt this negative presence in my room, like someone was next to me, but I didn't see it. Tried screaming for help, but my mouth couldn't move and my throat felt so tight. Lasted about 15 seconds lol, but when I really was awake I was drenched in sweat and shaking like a motherf*cker hahahaha. Scared the hell out of me, I try not to sleep on my back anymore.
I've been having sleep paralysis for years! Someone told me getting high leaves your mind open for the good and the bad Also things can hitch a ride during a trip They also said sleep paralysis is bullshit It's a attack and different entities Have different reasons for the attack
I never experienced a dark entity in sleep paralysis I've only seen blackness. However, when I woke up one time I seen a person looking at me standing over my bed then they disappeared.
Hi Tom, yes i know what it is i have had sleep paralysis before many time's although not latley. I would try to take the blanket off me but i couldn't move i then managed to shake my body until i could get one leg to move and i'd have to kick the blanket's off off me. It created a mess but it worked. Also when i was a kid i saw an Alien standing in my bedroom doorway looking at me. I was terrified i tried to be still and play dead. I held my breath for as long as i could. I hid under my blanket..i don't remember the rest. I'm not sure what cause's sleep paralisis or what the remedy is. I hope it goes away Tom. It is definatley not fun. My Dad and his Sister both awoke at the same time when they were 2 maybe 3 or 4 more around 3 i think. They both reported seeing the same thing. It was a Woman dressed in White she was at the foot of they're Mother's bed Hazel my Grandmother was asleep anyway's the story goes she smiled at them then slowly faded away into thin air right before they're eye's..Also my dad's new girlfriend of late she is 94 my dad is 85 anyway's she said that back in the 50's there was a flying saucer right above her. She say's i saw what i saw and i know what i saw. That's kinda how i would put my experience i saw what i saw and i was awake i was not dreaming so..It looked like a Lizard or Reptillian Man from the Swamp or something..So no Angel's for me only creepy scary Monster's..Maybe a gaurdian Angel noticed what was going on and kicked him out of my bedroom. I hope so! Take care you two's. lol
Its funny because sleep paralysis happens to me after a dream, and in the dream its hard for me to move. If you ever are attacked by these dark entities, or brain hallucinations, whatever u want to call them, LOVE THEM or call on Jesus. It will work believe me. Another thing if you are in sleep paralysis or in a dream and u hear this buzzing noise in ur head MAKE SURE U WAKE UP or ur dreams will get 100x more real or ull pop out of ur body
were not used to seeing our minds actively create outside our heads in the third dimension, just remember its your creation so they are your bitches ;) make a joke out of it. its too spectacular of an experience (thats available in your life) to let the bad thoughts ruin the enjoyment. BREATHE
I have chronic sleep paralysis. almost 4 times a week lol. imagine that 😂 sleep is some what stressful sometimes because those "demons" are just figments, or are they 👀👀👀😂 lol. shit is beyond real and scary tho haha.
Cool stuff as usual, just wanted to say it does bother me when otherwise smart people start going off about other dimensions, or entities or whatever. There's all kinds of experiences you can have, be it through sleep paralysis or psychedelic drugs, that feel real and intense and crazy, but this doesn't mean any of it is actually happening outside of your mind. This isn't to diminish the experience - saying it's all in your head says nothing about how intense and real it feels - it just means that there's no reason to start theorising about contacting entities and other dimensions in the absence of hard evidence. I'd be the first to want to know about such things if they do exist, but you can't just say that they exist in anyone else's reality just because you had an intense experience, or because you heard something recorded that you can't explain. If you can't explain it, all that means is that you don't know what's going on, and it seems a bit silly to make up an unfalsifiable hypothesis to explain it, just because our current science and knowledge of the universe can't offer an immediate explanation. Rant over - cheers for the video you guys =)
John Newman I'll make sure not to tell you about the bandits outside the village on the south road. Because my experience with them, all though harrowing and dreadful, might not seem real to you because you haven't encountered them on the south road you take out of the village and my speculation about who they might be might contradict what you believe to be true based on your not having dealt with them. You ever wonder why people who have dealt with this seem so conflicted about the nature of these things? we all dream, and sometimes it seems real shit, bit we don't question it when we wake up, we say hey, that was a dream... however the same can not be said for sleep paralysis. Mainly from the perspective of having woken up like usual, but when you go to get up you can't and out of the corner of your eye you see it getting closer and when you fight it and break free there you are in the same room at the same in the same bed and you've escaped... it can really fuck with u especially when you can recount conversations, tv shows, the order of songs played while you were laying there paralyzed trying to get help but not being able to move... it might be a subjective experience but that doesn't make it any less real... but what do I know I'm just one guy in the sea of humanity getting knocked about by the waves and barely keeping up...
Alright so I typed this in my notes seconds after I woke up so it probably makes 0 sense and is really shitty writing but this was intense and I don't know if it was a dream or and astral projection. Any response would be great thanks. I just fucking astral projected or some shit. I was definitely dreaming and I KNEW I WAS DREAMING. It's slowly fading from my memory but I was in my Spanish class with Josh and Hannah. My first few dreams kept going back to those too. I just remembered most of the dream/projections I thought I was about to play in a football game. At one point I teleported to Laconia or something and was talking to my teammate trey when I realized I didn't have any of my football stuff. Then I realized I was dreaming again. I kept having full dreams with me fully aware it was a dream then I would go to the next dream and forget, and then remember I was dreaming again. The last part of this story felt a lot more like astral projection then the first part. It was a lot more vivid and real. I was on my friend Nicks deck (it was on the opposite side of the apartment building which was strange) and this dude who looked like Dana White comes out of the deck door and says "I enjoy raping woman." I was so confused but this triggered my memory and I realized it was a dream again. I wanted to get the fuck away from that guy so I jump off the deck and purposely break my neck. That shoots me back into my bed and the second I wake up my body fucking launches off of my bed and into the middle of my room. It was super slow motion. This wasn't my actual body though, I saw or felt something and realized I was dreaming again. I think I go downstairs and see my house is the same and everything is the same for the most part. (it most likely wasn't I didn't really pay attention to detail for this part) At this point everything is so real it's scary and freaked me the fuck out. I remember someone on TH-cam saying you could see demons and shit while astral projecting (I don't believe in demons just bad entities) and that's what made it so scary. I would've had a blast if I didn't hear there could be "demons" in this realm. Everything looked the exact same from afar but I guarantee it would look different if I got closer. I looked around and saw something floating. I jumped out my second story window through my screen but that didn't kill me. I couldn't wake up. I ran down my street and this is an awesome feeling. I feel like a super hero cause every step I take is like a giant leap in slow motion. It wasn't high or far I just gained a lot of ground each step. Everything felt closer together in this realm. Still not fun tho cause the sky was grey, dark, and felt like there were dark entities surrounding me . I couldn't wake up no matter what I did. (I've never felt this way. Whenever I realize I'm in a dream it's hard to NOT wake up.) When I turn the corner on my street it gets really hard to run. The corner is on a little hill. The steeper the road is the harder it is to run just like real life. (It's not like that in any other dreams.) Then on my road I see the same friend that was on his deck with me. (Nick) Someone else was there to but I'm not sure who. Nick was crying on the road next to a car crash. When I get to the crash I realize it's him. He's crying over his own dead body. This was weird as fuck but the very end was the weirdest. I was about to fuck this girl but right when I was about to I could feel myself slowly shift into this dimension till I was back in my body and had no control of my astral body anymore. It's like things drift in and out of that place at random moments and places. So like an hour has passed and I'm still thinking about this. I was so aware of my body and in control of my movements but my actual body was just lying in bed not moving at all. It makes no sense to me.
Man im so freaked out rn, when i was about 7 i had the exact same experience as her, i opened my eyes in the middle of the night seeing a cloaked figure and hid under the covers until it went away. maybe its real ooooooo
Is anyone else able to move their toes during sleep paralysis? By the way, thinking about something sexual and trying to keep my eyes closed usually helps me when I experience sleep paralysis
I'd like to tell my story sleep paralysis. One night I woke up and I could not move. I was lying on my back and on my chest was standing a little gray alien or I think like half a meter tall. It was all you'd expect from a gray alien accept his head was one of those turd emoticons with the face. He startled me, so to prove to myself it wasn't real I tried to touch it. White all the strength I could gather I lifted my arm and went for it. My arm went right through so i thought to myself: "You see, it's not real You can not touch it.". Apparently the turdhead alien was able to read my thoughts becouse I felt he intended to prove me wrong. The next moment, I shit you not, the alien morphed into a mandala filled with colours. The next thing I know I was floating through tunnels or colours, and in my ears I heard a buzzing psychedelic sound. The dark entity of my sleep paralysis literally turned into a psychedelic trip, and At That point I was sure he was real. After That I invited him to visit me anytime he would like, but I haven't seen him ever since.
Also a personal interest of mine. Has anyone experienced anything strange such as this or maybe something different even after having a psychedelic experience ie shrooms acid dmt or anything like that? On a broader scale any difference in general after a first experience?
That's freaky bro! I had two sleep paralysis, the first one was so scary it had me fucked the whole night. I heard a scream outside my door and when I got up I couldn't move and then reality shifted into like a stop motion where I left my body and crawled to the bathroom to look at myself in the mirror, it was hard, like everything was trying to hold me down, so I tried to crawl to my mother's room to ask for help, but then I got back into my body and didn't sleep. It was pure terror. I had several more but those only lasted 6-10 seconds and were more interesting/weird than scary. First one was the most fucked one tho.
Yeah, I had one when I was 12 (16 now) The day before I watched hypno's lullaby because I was a huge pokemon / horror fan. The song litteraly terrified me and I was sleeping in a huge bed on my vacation in latin america. I woke up and heard a soft buzzing. I looked at the window (it was a huge window maybe 4 meters wide) And there was this giant hairy demon standing there I think it was about 2 meters tall and 3 meters wide which is crazy. I couldn't look away from it and the buzzing became louder. it's eyes lit up and the intenseness scared the fuck out of me and went on for about 15 seconds. Suddenly it was gone in an instant. The buzzing was gone aswell. Then I heard the doorbell. The buzzing started very softly again. And then I heard a knock on my room's door. I was scared shitless and went crying to my mom to tell her the story. Sorry for the crappy sentences I wrote this in under 3 mins edit: the monster looked like a wide and tormented version of Sulley from monsters en co
did you feel the vibration make its way from your stomach to your head. And right when it gets to your head it feel like your brain exploads and you basically in another dimension? I also feel a sense of some sort or liquid rushing through my brain when i do it. I picture it as the dmt rushing through my brain, but it feels more like i got shot through my brain and theres blood rushing everywhere. ITS ABSOLUTELY CRAZY
Adam i've had two experiences which had an extremely intense buzzing the noise reminded me of a game called abe's oddysee if you ever played it,there was multicoloured figures stacked in rows like storm troopers and this buzzing i could actually feel it it was like static all over you're body, it was draining my energy very very uncomfortable feeling, I was floating in the sky with these figures in a canyon like area but with no floor, 100% wasnt a dream never seen anything like it in my life, I tried to be as strong willed as possible to stay wherever i was but they overpowered me i could feel myself been drained really hard to describe had to shake myself awake, I can still remember the pixelated lizard face staring at me when i closed my eyes.
when you been a long time weed smoker and come off it or cut right down you will experience shit in your sleep.. I smoked weed since I was 13 and i gave in lots of times and for good about a year and a half ago.. I'm 26 now. I don't know why it happens, it must be something to do with detoxing or the demons not wanting to let you go.
If you are having trouble with sleep paralysis even if you are an atheist tell it to leave in the name of Jesus and honestly see what happens, you try. Also can someone ask the dmt entities experience ask them about Jesus and see what they say really appreciate it and please tell me what happens? What do they say? How do they react?
I have only experienced it one memorable time, and all I can say is that if you're enjoying that you've got one unique perspective haha. Even if I were able to resonate with its non-actuality the position I'm in at the time is one of inspired fear, so i dont think i could get around it.
jeff I've experienced it countless times throughout my life and I understand when I'm experiencing it but there is no possible way to get rid of how uncomfortable and terrorizing it feels no matter how many times it has happened to me.
Lmao I forgot this is an aussie term! The technical definition of a doona (according to Google) is a type of bedding a soft flat bag traditionally filled with down or feathers. In other words, a blanket :p lol
I've only had 1 sleep paralysis experience that I can remember. I only have 1 story. I was staying at my grandmothers. There are old school family portraits in the room. And a statue of satan on a stiffy. lol. Half human and legs with hair and hooves. Playing a flute or some shit. lol. And I woke up paralyzed. There where white angels, and red demons. The demons where murdering and raping and torturing the angels. wtf. I was scared stiff as fuck. I couldn't move. Say anything. Do anything. I couldn't see everything that was going on. I couldn't move my head. I could only open my eyes. And close them. I was so shit scared. I closed my eyes. And hoped it would go away. It didn't. So I closed my eyes and went back to sleep. ... Satans gonna fuck you up! lol!
you all sound afraid, and i mean people in the comments, nervously saying its just 'imagination' . . . . . its like one time me and five people on a beach in HI (and we were kids just like tom here, all living out there seeking with a capital S) the entire sky start strobing and were all very very alone way up in moloaa bay camped on beach sand. And like cattle 3 out of the 5 literally could not, would not allow the acknowledgment of it happening to sink in. Only my good friend Paul (who I have a feeling will read this comment one day) and I truly let ourselves acknowledge it. The two girls and one guy literally like would not compute it. Thats what you experiencers seem like. Keep in mind, something can respond to your mind as if its your imagination and still not be. As in you can say "Go! you are puddy!" And something could just be placating you by turning into pudding and going away. Just saying. Oh I have nothing specific to say on this. ;)
Also, something can be a test and have greater spiritual meaning while still being a localized autonomously negative experience. Tests can be failed too.
Anna Ley I've fought back in so many ways, had numerous confrontations with them, and they all end the same way... they keep coming back
I saw one and took out a sword and killed it promptly, and the universe was created after I killed it. I’ve never had to deal with other shadows again, at least not in a literal sense. They are your dark side and all you have to do is recognize they are a part of you, and that they can be used to your advantage if mastered. It is a visual and archetypal representation of Carl Jungs idea of the shadow.
anyone else had dreams where your really slow and cant run properley and keep falling down?
textamax mlg ye thats normal
Yeah, usually when I try to run from something I run in slow motion. I have hard that if you spin yourself around in the dream then it can fix that but never tried it myself.
textamax mlg yes very often, either I'm running from something or I'm at a big sports tournament around scouts and such and lose the ability to run
I can almost never run but I can always fly x) My dreams are weird, like in a video game, especially with 5-HTP
Jay Ranby yeah that happens to me
Tibetan Buddhism and Theosophy talk about these things fairly extensively.
But it's weird that everyone's "thought forms" manifest as almost identical figures in these scenarios..
@@dantron7073 thought forms are living things tho not a psychology term
@@mysteryschoolvibrantra1201 Oh I see. I misunderstood. This makes sense now.
woah never been this early 😂 you guys are so cute i love you both!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤ peace and love

omg i need to add, when it gets terrifying in sleep paralysis i just relax and fill my mind with loving thoughts, it always works and makes the fear and negative entities go away.
I have had sleep paralysis since my preteen years. Disembodied hands choking me is a reoccurring one for me. Aliens looking over me. Things like that. I’ll be totally awake unable to move and talk, seeing these in my room. It’s crazy scary.
Were you able to close your eyes while it's going on?
I've had sleep paralysis more times than I can count and every experience is when I'm awake, sometimes I've seen angels that turn into demon like creatures, sometimes I hear voices, sometimes I feel something touching me. But the most powerful experience had no entities at all, I woke up, couldn't move, and my chest felt like it was being crushed. Then I started to vibrate and everything around me was vibrating, it was so intense, the vibrations were shaking ferociously, it was really crazy.
I get it every night man, i dont even get scarred anymore i legit chill and admire my minds creation. The stuff ive seen would make some go insane, you get used to it tho, i love it now since its a gate way to the lucid dream world
Great vid, Tom!
Dude sleep paralysis is fucking insane. Feels like someone sewed your mouth when you're trying to scream for help. One time I fucking heard all kinds of little kids whispering in my ears crazy ass shit
your girlfriend is so beautiful and i love her personality as well! glad to see you guys still together.
i felt this so many times. my experience was me laying in my bed and having this shadow type of entity lurking over my body. getting closer and i was frozen with my mind still fully aware. i had this same exact experience like 5-6 times in one night., i was so damn afraid. no matter how hard i tried to move and get away i could only eventually wake up. i was also around different parts of my bedroom. creepy things. pure fear
I had a dream where I was walking down my gravel driveway and realized I Was Dreaming!!! I freaked out and I immediately laid down in the gravel as a conscious instinct being I was laying down in my bed. As soon as I laid down I closed my eyes laying in the gravel and opened them now in my room... my little fan was blowing on me and it sounded like a semi truck as I woke up... it was so intense and scary... my favorite dream in a lot of ways.
such a bad idea watching this when I'm bout to green out
i love you both!
I've had this a couple of times in the past few months. Really terrifying, and afterwards I always fall into the same looping dream until I wake up
I have this happen at least once a week. When I was meditating it would happen almost every day. That's why I stopped. It got to the point where I would have it go on for 5-7 mins at a time and be an utter night mare.
It seems to me that it's impossible to know. It could be that we all have similar mechanisms in our brains that cause us to have these similar experiences during sleep paralysis because after all we are the same species with a similar biology and emotional
responses.
When i have sleep paralysis i just dont open my eyes
KIFER and it don't seems that we've missed something xD
KIFER on Ayahuasca it doesn’t matter if you don’t open your eyes
I tried to close my eyes and started hearing shit and it made it worse 😂
Sounds so much scarier to me honestly
Holy shit man
The second time I was able to astral project once I stood up I was attacked and pinned down to my bedroom floor by a man.
Anybody wearing earbuds and listening to the extremely loud “DING” in the beginning is incredibly painful. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
This reminds me of the stuff steve talks about from huff paranormal. I would check out his chanel
The man Voice was creepy af
I've got the irrational fear that someday I'll have sleep paralysis and I'm afraid i could poke my eyes out during it...
cut off your fingers
Holy shit
Sleep paralysis is common for everyone but if you have narcolepsy it happens a lot more, and all it’s is is you’re brain isn’t in full rem sleep but your body is and that’s why you can move but that feeling of not being able to move makes it easy for entities to appear
awesome vid maet, just being a hat maet
hi ! i know this video is kind of oldish now, but do you happen to have the name of the sleep tracking app you used ? thanks !
It could be that we feel defenseless in that state which causes our imaginations to run wild(i could see unknown "dark entities" being a common fear).
Or it could be dark entities coming to steal our souls.
Bruuuuuuv, The same dementor/succubus entity thingy your girlfriend saw has happened to me multiple times, never heard of another person having the same experience
yea the mind can be pretty scary if you dont trust and understand it, just pay very close attention and spear through the darkness
If I am gonna have sleep paralysis I would try to close my eyes and pray for it to go away.
Please anyone give me some of your opinions here, much appreciated.
I'm pretty sure I was listening to a Terence McKenna lecture while I was asleep and someone asked "is there such thing as darker entities" and after that this scary ass bird human dark ass thing showed up and kept getting closer til I woke up
I fell asleep to mark twains “mysterious stranger” and a BRIGHT orange yellow light showed up on my LEFT shoulder and it sounded like garbled speech
After I calmed myself in front of it, it calmed down and disappeared like it folded out of my consciousness-
Its a story about satan
Someone told me getting high leaves your mind open for the good and the bad
Also things can hitch a ride during a trip
They also said sleep paralysis is bullshit
It's a attack and different entities
Have different reasons for the attack
That brofist at the end doe 😂😂😂
Simple explanation for the app voice: the app makers put it in there as a prank.
The vibrations in the body means we can astral project right?
It happens to me when I sleep on my back
I'd like to tell my story sleep paralysis.
I just had one two nights ago
As someone who is trying to lucid dream and never has, what method worked best for you? I'm trying FILD but it hasn't been working.
Did you hear the buzzing?
yes! Like a high frequency buzzing
Yeah, I had one when I was 12 (16 now)
The day before I watched hypno's lullaby because I was a huge pokemon / horror fan.
The song litteraly terrified me and I was sleeping in a huge bed on my vacation in latin america.
I woke up and heard a soft buzzing.
I looked at the window (it was a huge window maybe 4 meters wide)
And there was this giant hairy demon standing there I think it was about 2 meters tall and 3 meters wide which is crazy.
Sorry for the crappy sentences I wrote this in under 3 mins
edit: the monster looked like a wide and tormented version of Sulley from monsters en co
Man this stuff is so weird, people have had these experiences since the ancient greeks..
did you feel the vibration make its way from your stomach to your head.
Adam i've had two experiences which had an extremely intense buzzing the noise reminded me of a game called abe's oddysee if you ever played it,there was multicoloured figures stacked in rows like storm troopers and this buzzing i could actually feel it it was like static all over you're body, it was draining my energy very very uncomfortable feeling, I was floating in the sky with these figures in a canyon like area but with no floor, 100% wasnt a dream never seen anything like it in my life, I tried to be as strong willed as possible to stay wherever i was but they overpowered me i could feel myself been drained really hard to describe had to shake myself awake, I can still remember the pixelated lizard face staring at me when i closed my eyes.
what sleep app was it that was used?
when you been a long time weed smoker and come off it or cut right down you will experience shit in your sleep..
So doona means blanket, right?
Silversha haha yes :)
surely i cant be the only one who enjoys sleep paralysis?
like once you realise its not real its really interesting to experience
Alex The only thing thats puts my off is the fear of seeing/hearing things.. Even if I know its my own mind, I freak out. Damn.!
I have only experienced it one memorable time, and all I can say is that if you're enjoying that you've got one unique perspective haha.
Even if I were able to resonate with its non-actuality the position I'm in at the time is one of inspired fear, so i dont think i could get around it.
jeff I've experienced it countless times throughout my life and I understand when I'm experiencing it but there is no possible way to get rid of how uncomfortable and terrorizing it feels no matter how many times it has happened to me.
real talk bro
I feel you will know the answers to this when you have had your trip, especially the bufo. you will know why these entities are part of the matrix...
What
TF is a doona?
Lmao I forgot this is an aussie term! The technical definition of a doona (according to Google) is a type of bedding a soft flat bag traditionally filled with down or feathers. In other words, a blanket :p lol
is there anyone else who gets sleep paralysis almost everyday??
Does anyone else think that his girlfriend looks like a Dolmio character?
Damn nippa
Adopt me.
Lmao!
