Low Level Air Power Demo (Flares and Aggressors!) - Aviation Nation 2019 - Nellis AFB

- Nellis-based tactical aircraft fill the air for a Combined Arms Demonstration (CAD) during the 2019 Aviation Nation airshow at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas. The takeoffs were filmed Saturday and the rest of the flying was filmed Sunday. Look for the missile decoy flares and special aggressor paint schemes "Wraith", "Shark", and "Blizzard".

Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcons (Vipers)
Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning IIs
Boeing F-15E Strike Eagles
Fairchild-Republic A-10 Thunderbolt IIs (Warthogs)
Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor

You can see where the F-35 gets it’s high energy maneuverability. That’s its inner F-16 showing. That’s a side of it you rarely get to see. Absolutely awesome show!
Thank you for not over zooming during the aggressor demo with f-22 vs f-16's =) All other air show folks zoomed in wayyyy to close and gave Us Poor viewers No perspective of the demo! The whole video you absolutely crushed it for when to zoom in and when to stay zoomed out! Impressive job
I love how you can see firsthand that the Raptor will keep up with anything. Even if its a simulated dogfight it does it with ease
I love the F-22 takeoff. It's brutal. No jet can quite rumble the earth like that, at least from what I have experienced.

Hey @AirshowStuffVideos, do you know if these pilots can mark these demos up as training experience?
Certainly it counts as flight hours and experience in that sense, but this is so carefully choreographed and planned I can't imagine it counts for any specific mission-specific training. It takes a lot of fiddling to adapt real techniques to look good in front of a crowd.
I though the f22 is not agile, why it is now it is?
Alot of people mistake the f35 for the f22. The f22 is super manvernver aircraft with thrust vectoring. The f35 for the past few years has had alot of negative talk about it's manvernver not good, well they didn't tell you or everyone else that it had flight restrictions until early 2020 when Lockheed Martin delivery the final software update so now the f35 can turn 9g without any restrictions. That's why there was so much bad talk about f35 which is by far the most advanced fighter to date..
