US Air Force air power on display during the Combined Arms Demo (CAD) during the Sunday airshow at Aviation Nation 2022 at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, Nevada! This unique presentation combined 10 tactical/fighter jets and two rescue helicopters for a brief demonstration of USAF capabilities.
After the aircraft take off, two F-16 aggressors (Splinter and Ghost) arrive at high speed attack the airfield. An F-22 Raptor is scrambled to intercept them, launching flares as it climbs. A mock dogfight ensues, with the Raptor maneuvering behind both F-16s. Next, an F-15E Strike Eagle and two A-10 Warthogs conduct simulated bombing runs on enemy troops before two F-35 Lightning IIs and two F-16 Fighting Falcons join the attack. When an aggressor jumps one of the F-16s, the F-35s rush to defend it. Two HH-60G Jolly Green helicopters enter at low level, deploying Pararescuemen while the F-15E and A-10s provide close air support and cover. Finally, all of the aircraft recover to land.

I was stationed at Nellis 75-79 worked F-111s & A-10 Weapons OT&E. This brought back a lot of memories of my time there.

F35 & F22 remain my favorite followed by the F16.
