ACE (Altamont Corridor Express) F40PH-3C Compilation

Continuing with the ACE themed videos for the month in recognition of their 25th anniversary, this video focuses on ACE's MPI F40PH-3C locomotives.
The Altamont Corridor Express (ACE) has a total of 6 Motive Power MPI F40PH-3C locomotives. As of Oct. 2023, 2 of the 6 locomotives are
"retired" with only 4 active out right now continuing service. Locomotives featured in the video is ACEX 3102, ACEX 3103, ACEX 3104, ACEX 3105 & the now retired ACEX 3106. Fun fact - ACEX 3106 is said to be the last ever made F40PH series locomotive. In the coming time, all these rest of the F40s will be replaced with the semi new Siemens SC44 charger locomotives. It's a shame that most of their K5LAs have fouled away. 3103 is the only one that still really holds up. But at least at 9:10 and 11:14, you got them going Full Blast!
4:25 Good old 3106, blaring away at that woman who just can't seem to take it. I remember the one time I got to see it back in December 2019 shortly before it was gone. It was pushing the very train me and late Will Ayers had an hour-long chat on board of. Sadly, I was too carried away to get a close shot of it, and I wouldn't have thought it would be gone so soon.
Also, you may know that 3104 got into a significant accident back in January and needed repairs all around its front, and it finally returned to service only about 2 weeks ago, and it looks quite different now. It's got totally new-looking Reflector Strips, and I believe its number boards were replaced with new ones too.

Details are very scarce, and I don't know if there were any injuries or what not, but again, at least 3104 is back in service now.

It’s a shame 3101 and 3106 are retired. But that’s life. Glad the F40s are still running with Ace for now. That being said they should replace 3105s RL with the 3101s horn since it’s been sidelined

Is it known when the F40s will be replaced by chargers? I honestly don’t see them replacing the remaining F40s anytime soon, especially with the expansion project being underway

The ace sc 44 locomotives are my favorite locomotives because I like how it looks and I like the designs on them
