All I've ever found of the coaching scenes china is a cup and saucer. There's something about that particular blue and the texture that made me fall in love with this set. What a wonderful find. I also have a set of Currier & Ives that we use. My mom had those when I was little.. It took me a while to find enough for 6 people. I've also found the Wedgewood Countryside fruit saucers to mix with them. I see you have a couple pieces. The cabinet display is beautiful. Amazing finds.
Omg that exact pattern of china Ive decided to collect. I enjoy the hunt. Ironically I was in my girlfriend’s home and she had it in her cabinet and it is the same pattern. It was her mom’s and her daughter wanted it. How ironic. You got an amazing deal.
My husband and I both are addicted to China and glassware. I have found similar deals at consignment stores including the most adorable set of Christmas plates. I thought when I got home, oh Betty you don't need these. Then I looked them up as you did and was shocked how much they go for. Wish I could send you a picture of them. I have 6 sets of China!!!. I do entertain a lot and just can't seem to part with any of them.
Like to see collections displayed together..in this case the color theme of items, provides more 'impact'. The two sets with similar designs and color are great for larger dinner parties too. Fun and 'valuable' finds!

Hi Ann, What a wonderful haul! I loved everything, especially the Child Life magazine. It was so sweet to read the page entitled "My Message To You" by Jackie Cooper. I had to pause the video to be able to read it. Jackie Cooper was a favorite "Little Rascal" who turned out to be a pretty good actor. The towel rack placement was perfect. I have your wedding china. I was married in 1989! We just had our anniversary . My husband put Rev-a-shelf in my kitchen cabinets. It holds 150 pounds! So I won’t be crying over broken china!
