I like my creature comforts also. I have a 2007 beater with a heater I don’t drive in colder weather because my primary transportation has heated seats and steering wheel. I’m spoiled.

I have a 2017 F250. The mileage readout is very accurate on a trip and not very accurate around town doing short trips etc.

Is your 2023 gonna have the new high output 6.7?

No, just didn’t see the need for it. I’ve never had a lack of power problem with my 2013 couldn’t really give myself a reason to spend the extra $2,500.

@@mmrbeef Do you think it would yield a higher return on resale? or at least keep its value?

How do you like the seats? Do they have decent butt width or do they hug too much?

I find them to be comfortable. I'm ~6' and 280.

I realize this just a comments section and not a place to post a review. So could you please tell me/us in just a few words why you drive a Ford and not Ram - Chevy - GMC - Toyota etc. Thank you in advance.

Oh that’s a long answer…. To make it as short as I can. In 2013 I shopped all three major 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. GM products were by far and away the most expensive by $5k or more. Ford had the more “proven” engine at that point vs Ram. Ford won that round. I’ve been very happy with my 2013 so Ford got the initial nod for the new one. I did shop around again. Personally I think GM is nothing more than a legacy brand at this point. They appear to have no interest in attracting my truck business. Their focus on electric vehicles (which I have nothing against) clearly takes research dollars away from their truck engines. Ram just couldn’t put a package together I liked. Ford got the nod once again. Some folks are brand loyal, and while I have driven mostly Ford, it’s not because I only drive Fords. Had I been shopping in the mid to late 2000’s I bet I would have gone with a GM.

@@mmrbeef Thank you for your response. I too am not a fan boy, I am 71 years old and I have used them all very hard over many years. Properly equipped they are all great. I have zero experience with the newer ones. So I turn to you and others more experienced than I am.
I can think of four other TH-camrs that are driving new Fords and grinning over it.
Thanks again my friend - love your videos!!
