      sometimes my dad and I fight about dumb stuff, but seeing that clip really hurt me. He is coming to him with no malice, just telling his son to eat some food likely because he has been streaming all day without eating (typical of drug users, not as common with downers like xanax though but idk what else he uses). Either way, He is clearly worried for his son asking things like "did you take your meds?" That wasn't an insult it was out of concern.

Often talked of suicide if she ever kicked him out or would try and kill her and his sister. (he was pretty crazy I came to find out)
      - Lets just say. His mom never kicked him out. Instead his sister found him and their step-dad overdosed and had been gone for 7-8hrs cause rigor mortis started setting in and he was sorta stuck hunched over. their step dad was on the floor 3-5ft infront of him. My buddy was 22 and his step dad was 38/39 and also a good friend of mine for some year. (Beyond their addictions.. They were pretty cool people. Sober, they were funny and laughing and chill to hang with. Messed up, they were too hard to be around most days.

Prison is where you go AFTER sentencing and only if that sentence is over two years (some states it’s one year min.) 2: breaking into cars is such a low level crime I doubt ANY criminal would have the foresight to worry about their Google search history being used as evidence against them. If the cops have a warrant for your computer in connection to a string of vehicle break ins, then you’re already caught

However, if a high roller is on a winning streak, I have been "asked", by the pit boss or management, to fumble the cards. Usually, I will pretend to miss the discard rack and drop a few cards on the floor. Whenever 4 or more cards are dropped, we have to change out the decks. This basically ends any lucky streaks.

    I'm a former stimulant freak. When fellas like us find a way to keep smashing the dopamine button in our brain, it's impossible to stop doing. It's hard to say whether that's how people are born, or substances rewire our brain. Either way, I don't think that compulsion really goes away. I'm sober now, but it was hard to find ways to smash that button with other things that wouldn't also ruin my life.

    • @boss2329
      @boss2329 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I think it's a bit of both. The way certain people are born causes them to be more predisposed to falling into that trap and once they're in it, the substance abuse and/or compulsive gambling rewires their brains making it that much harder to stop. It's the definition of a vicious cycle. I'm glad to hear you were able to make it out brother, keep it up.
