What strikes me is that this guy at one point looked completely ordinary, like if he had gotten proper counseling at was led in the right direction he could’ve become someone super likable. He has a drive for humor and a personality that, though eccentric, is attractive to some people. I have both ADHD and Asperger’s and I consider myself extraordinarily fortunate to have been given the chances and opportunities I was given, people like cobra are fascinating to me because I recognize a lot of his emotions and immaturity. The feeling of not belonging is familiar and is something that needs to be addressed early on, which for him it was not. Everyone has the potential to become a lolcow, or “weirdo” and with people like this, excusing the stuff that is morally reprehensible, there are moments where I cannot help but sympathize.

I think there's a chance maybe at this age if he got counseling it could help, but he's got oppositional defiance disorder and hates being told what to do but who knows he could try

Every day I am thankful my parents took me to specialists early in my life for Asperger’s (yes, ik that’s outdated, but that’s what they called it back then). They didn’t let me move ahead from 1st grade to 7th grade, took me to a lot of different types of therapy, and worked with my sensory issues daily. I learned something from studying cobra. I learned a lot of people would be lolcows if only they would record themselves
as a reptile keeper + rescuer- he was 100% abusing that bearded dragon. the black tail that the commentor mentioned is tail rot- which is exactly what it sounds like. the tailtip became infected and is necrotic, literally rotting off his body. the pictures of the enclosure are abysmal as well, anyone with even a basic knowledge on bearded dragons would know that is abuse.
The anime rescue people visited him numerous times and said it was better kept than most other bearded dragon aquariums? Cages? Whatever you want to call it.
He had puff for very short period of time. He adopted puff from a neighbor in his building that had puff for years prior.

Every day I am thankful my parents took me to specialists early in my life for Asperger’s (yes, ik that’s outdated, but that’s what they called it back then). They didn’t let me move ahead from 1st grade to 7th grade, took me to a lot of different types of therapy, and worked with my sensory issues daily. I feel like I would’ve followed a much worse path like this guy if it wasn’t for my parents getting me help. Time to go thank them once again!

I miss the early 2000-2010s internet for many reasons, that is massively one of them. I used to be a pretty bad alcoholic. Along with an addiction powerful opioids, I drank a quart of straight rum every day. I feel kind of bad for KingCobra.. I've been in the Cobes community a couple years now, it's been a wild ride, I've watched countless hours of his old videos, clip channels, documentaries. I love that you added some slightly more obscure info to this video, made it more fun for someone who already knows all about the guy. For example, I don't think I'd ever heard about this Bleak Rainbow chick. The # 1 thing I wish we knew more about in early Cobra lore is Damien's sex cult. Stephanie has elaborated vaguely in later interviews, said even Couch Chris almost got roped into it for a place to stay. It has to do apparently with some kind of Wiccan type magic. This cult was just so casually part of Cobra's universe and I must know more. So bizarre.
