He seems like a great pick for State. He's an ethical man who will switch his loyalty to Exxon to that of the US. He already has Exxon follow American law explicitly. How would oil prices rise, exactly? The Secretary of State has no control over oil prices, and the reason why they are suddenly rising (after having unprecedentedly dipped) is because the Saudis are cutting production.
And let's say that Tillerson magically raises prices: so what? It would be incentive to use more clean energy resources and to even curb general spending.
