Another clean looking shave Matthew. Some of these sort of semi-commercial creams/gels make a lather that doesn't hold together long but they do seem slick enough to shave with. I haven't found it necessary to see a barber for many years👴 but it seems many barbers have gone to using clear Gels these days, rather than brush & lather, could have been a Covid change.👌🤠👍
Nice shave. I've used their bath soaps and that same balm but not anything else from them. That balm is nice. That did create a good lather. Have a great week
@@lawrence1mdmatt, your videos are curt, straight up and enjoyable each time..if I may, do bring out a few synthetic bristle brushes out. Badgers are way too expensive and now that I am left with the last two badgers (Yaqi Mojito and a Silvertip), I have increasingly gravitated towards boars and synthetics. It would be fun to hear your views on using synthetics or boars more often. Thanks
Nice shave despite the milky lather. I'm surprised that it's not better given the high price. But I do like Duke Cannon balm. And 6oz for $10 is a good deal. I add a touch of water to mine to make it slightly thinner.
I haven't tried this brand, but it sounds similar to Cremo. It takes a bit to get a good lather and then it kind of disappears like this one does. Most of the easy to get ones have been ok, but not quite as good as some of the cheap ones from shaving vendors. Gillette used to have a gel that I really liked and it stayed a gel when on and was super slick. There are quite a few really good balms though and this one looks good. I would think that P&G should be able to make a really amazing shave soap, but I haven't run into one yet. Take care!
It’s sad that a giant corporation like p&g doesn’t provide a shave soap we like. I guess the wetshaving community isn’t big enough. Thanks for watching Ian !
That razor-blade combo is one of a kind! Great shave Matthew.
It works pretty well for me. Thanks for watching Luis!
I love it when channels review/ showcase some of the “easy to acquire” shave products. Thanks Matt. :D
There are many products that work great but get over looked because you can pick them up locally. Thanks for watching Matt!
Very nice shave, Matthew 😊
Thank you Robert!

I need to ask my local barbershop if they stopped using theirs. Maybe he will donate it to me : ) thanks for watching uncleL !

I added a little too much water to the cream but it still worked nicely. Thanks for watching Mike!
Nice shave Matthew, I enjoy the Duke Cannon bar bath soaps, I haven't seen any of the shaving products on the shelves yet.
Have a great day Brother
I enjoy their bath soap too, great bang for the buck and they last a long time too. Thanks for watching Rusty!
@@lawrence1md I can get 8 to 10 weeks of use from one of those bars.

@@okiedokie_cool I’ll break out a different brush on the next shave. Thanks for the suggestion!

I could have used a little less water to the shave cream. Adding water to the balm is a good idea. Thanks for watching Bart!
Great shave Matthew 😅
It was a little on the messy side hehehe. Thanks for watching Scott!
Do it, the shave in a barbershop!
I need to ask Joe, I’m sure he would think it’s fun, plus it would give him some advertisement. Thanks for watching Tobin!
1:19 "It's kinda like Chuck Norgis Morris.type phrases." All righty then. 😏
My brain was moving faster than my mouth. 🥋 hehehehe. Thanks for watching Chris!
